00:00Can you share with us how many parties and offices you have since January until now?
00:09Okay, this is also important. Thank you, our colleagues.
00:13I want to clarify here.
00:16In the ongoing operations that we are doing, we are also doing other operations related to the foreigners.
00:22If you look at our records, from January 1st to August 16th,
00:27we have carried out 11,903 operations.
00:3111,903 operations in the period from January 1st to mid-August.
00:38On average, we do about 1,700-1,800 operations per month.
00:42That's the number of operations.
00:44Secondly, we have carried out 106,432 operations so far.
00:49All 100,000 operations have been carried out.
00:51And from those inspections, plus related operations, we have detained a total of 29,030 people.
01:02They are responsible for immigration, passport and other regulations related to those documents.
01:09And more importantly, we have also arrested a total of 900 employers.
01:16This is important. The majority of these employers are Malaysians.
01:21What is their fault? Paying for the parties.
01:24A Malaysian cannot, or the employers cannot, pay for the parties.
01:29For example, if they work in Tom Yum, restaurants, outlets, cleaning and so on,
01:36they need to get the right workers who are registered with the Immigration Department.
01:41But they take the parties.
01:44Those who don't have documents, or those who overstay, or those who come here to work,
01:52they pay for them. That is a mistake.
01:54A mistake to pay for the parties, to protect the parties, to pay for the parties,
01:59is a mistake under Section 55 and also Section 56 of the Immigration Act.
02:04So we have arrested as many as 900 people.
02:07We take action.
02:09And for your information, from now until the future,
02:16our main focus is to make sure that the employers pay for the parties.
02:24That is our focus.
02:26Now we see outside there, there are many parties.
02:32Who contributes to the many parties working?
02:35It is our people, our employers.
02:37If the employers don't take the parties to work, then we don't see them in the restaurants.
02:41I receive a lot of complaints.
02:43Why are there many foreigners working in the restaurants?
02:46When we do the operation, it turns out that they don't have documents.
02:49So the employers need to take responsibility.
02:52We will charge the employers.
02:54We will charge them.
02:56It becomes their fault.
02:58So when the employers don't take the foreign workers who don't have documents,
03:03then we can reduce it.
03:05We can reduce it.
03:06So we take firm action in this matter.
03:08Employers, I remind you outside, don't pay for the parties.
03:12Don't pay for the parties.
03:14Whoever comes, they need to follow the correct process.
03:17This is a big mistake in the Immigration Act.
