దీంతో కమిషనర్ రంగనాథ్ ఆదేశాల మేరకు క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో విచారణ జరిపిన అధికారులు గండిపేట ఎఫ్టీఎల్ పరిధిలో అక్రమ నిర్మాణాలు జరిగినట్లుగా తేల్చారు. దీంతో వారు కార్యాచరణ చేపట్టారు. 20కి పైగా బహుళ అంతస్తుల భవనాలను స్థానిక మున్సిపల్, రెవెన్యూ, వాటర్ బోర్డు, పోలీసుల పర్యవేక్షణలో కూల్చివేశారు.
