OFW remittances up 2.5% in June

00:00The Banco Central ng Pilipinas or BSP reported personal remittances from overseas Filipino
00:05workers went up by 2.3 percent in June of this year. This amounted to 3.21 billion dollars
00:11from 3.13 billion dollars in the same month last year. In the meantime, cash remittances
00:17coursed through banks arose by 2.5 percent to 2.88 billion dollars from 2.81 billion dollars
00:24a year earlier.
