00:00Give yourself space, freedom, opportunities to take stock.
00:04You understand what is meant by taking stock?
00:06Just stop. Stop for long durations. At least for a few hours.
00:10And recollect what's going on. Am I just running? What's going on?
00:13And this period of taking stock can extend to months if possible for you.
00:17In fact, in my own growth, the breaks that I used to get from school and later on from IIT were very important.
00:25Most of my initial poetry was composed in breaks.
00:28And the breaks were significant. The entire December used to be free.
00:32And then May, June, July.
00:35And that used to provide an ample space in which one could just be himself.
00:40If you are running behind your ambitions and if you have a tied up day
00:44and you very well know that 8 am you have to do this and then 6 am this and 8 am that.
00:49That kind of clockwork will never allow any kind of internal leisure.
00:53And if that internal leisure is not there, no insight, no wisdom can develop.
