In this episode, I share humorous stories about my daughter's experiences at an ice-cream shop, highlighting the challenges of customer service. We explore the impact of social media, reflecting on the rapid spread of misinformation and shifting narratives about my character. The conversation shifts to the evolution of slang, as I examine contemporary terms and the generational shifts in language. 00:00:00Good evening, good evening, half-pinch, half-punch, midway of the month, 14th of August, 2024-140824.
00:00:08That's a lot of numbers.
00:00:09Good evening, good evening, and welcome, welcome, freedomain.com to help out Le Show, Le Most
00:00:16Leppreciated.
00:00:17I didn't know you, I didn't.
00:00:20Was Izzy shocked at the amount of taxes she has to pay from her job, but she's a teenager,
00:00:23right, so she doesn't really pay much of anything.
00:00:27We'll get into Izzy's work experience slash situation slash stuff, but first, let's talk
00:00:34about X.
00:00:35So, it turns out, it turns out, funny story, you don't really even have to be on X or Twitter
00:00:42to go viral.
00:00:43So, I went viral this week, not even around, somebody sent it to me, and there were two
00:00:51ways in which Monsieur Lamy went viral.
00:00:55The first was some guy saying, hey, whatever happened to that Steph guy, he seemed pretty
00:00:59innocuous to me, and they kind of nuked him out of the galaxy, and another guy saying,
00:01:02if you weren't on the internet before 2020, you did not deeply understand, or even in
00:01:07a shallow way, understand the deep insanity that is Stephane Molyneux, and people posted
00:01:13tweets of mine that they considered mad, and I'm like, yeah, that seems about right, nothing
00:01:19in particular has changed.
00:01:21So, I got 5.4 million on one and over 3 million on the others, and I thought that was interesting,
00:01:31and I did a video response to some of the comments, which were interesting, to put it
00:01:36mildly, but it's amazing, you know, nobody goes to source material anymore, like, nobody
00:01:42goes to source material.
00:01:43Everyone's like, oh, I heard this crazy thing about Steph, it's gotta be true, cause prejudice,
00:01:47bigotry, and idiocy.
00:01:49And nobody ever says, wow, can you give me a quote of that?
00:01:52No, can't do any of that, just gonna accept the most outlandish stuff.
00:01:57So here's the funny thing, right, I guess that's 8.4, 8.5 million views, translated
00:02:06just as out of curiosity, right, cause some people were like, oh wow, yeah, Steph, I remember
00:02:10that guy, he was really influential to me, blah blah blah blah blah, and people were
00:02:14posting, he's won website over, he's over on Locals, he's on Rumble, all this kind of
00:02:17stuff, right, freedomand.com.
00:02:21So just out of curiosity, 8.4 million views of those tweets, how many new subscribers
00:02:32on Locals came out of that?
00:02:35People wonder why I'm not on X, I mean, other than the sort of moral stuff.
00:02:41How many new subscribers, hello, ah, she's bought food, which I will chew loudly into
00:02:46the microphone.
00:02:50So Izzy, you remember I went a little viral on X this week, right?
00:02:57You can walk up to here, up to the microphone, it's your level.
00:03:00Sorry, we're just gonna mute for a couple of minutes.
00:03:04So Her Majesty can eat the cake, she denies the peasants, Marie Antoinette.
00:03:08I'm just gonna eat really loudly in the microphone.
00:03:11She's going to, we're actually just gonna put some chocolate syrup on the microphone.
00:03:15Oh my gosh, that's disgusting.
00:03:17RIP headphone users.
00:03:18I'm eating.
00:03:19Well, I'm websiteover.com.
00:03:22Meat and cheese sandwich with one piece of bread, because I-
00:03:25What the, hang on.
00:03:28Well that's a massive betrayal.
00:03:30Because I didn't want you to make me one the other night?
00:03:32No, no.
00:03:33Although that, oh my god, that's two massive betrayals.
00:03:36Three massive betrayals.
00:03:37Now, what is the most significant and foundational massive betrayal?
00:03:40What?
00:03:41That I have to be like this for lunch?
00:03:43Nope, nope, nope.
00:03:44It's not a taco.
00:03:45Oh, it is a taco, James, you're quite right.
00:03:49Don't tilt it, don't tilt it.
00:03:50I'm gonna be like those streamers that tilt it and it just spatters everywhere.
00:03:54That's right.
00:03:55Waterfall of nutrition.
00:03:56No, it's-
00:03:57I do eat meat, I'm not a vegetarian.
00:04:00It's because we went to a bakery today and I got the most delicious bread known to mortals.
00:04:05It's hungered up, it's disgusting, it's literally mold.
00:04:08Izzy with the mouth full, I'm just concerned about the politeness of the room.
00:04:12It's moldy bread.
00:04:14They literally mold the yeast and then they make it.
00:04:17Moldy bread?
00:04:18Sourdough is moldy bread.
00:04:20Someone went and ate moldy bread and was like, it's delicious, and made it moldy.
00:04:26Just because it's sour doesn't mean that it's moldy.
00:04:28No, it is.
00:04:29They actually, like-
00:04:30Okay, I'm gonna need a fact check on this.
00:04:31And if someone said one bread sandwich, yes, it's because when I put two pieces of bread
00:04:36on, it's too dry.
00:04:37So I like one bread so I can actually taste the stuff.
00:04:39Four to four point- four to four point five percent too dry.
00:04:43He does the exact same thing, he does the exact same thing.
00:04:46Fermented flour?
00:04:47Yeah, you ferment it.
00:04:48James has literally made it, James, tell us.
00:04:51If you break it down to the atomic level, it is- wait, hang on, hang on.
00:04:56If you break it down at the atomic level, it's constituent components are identical
00:04:59to a taco, ergo it's a taco.
00:05:01I'm gonna have to call absolute scientific nonsense on that and we know this because
00:05:05Izzy is now learning- what is she learning?
00:05:08She's learning chemistry.
00:05:10She's learning chemistry so she can learn how to be attracted to males, because it's
00:05:14all about chemistry.
00:05:15There we go.
00:05:16All right.
00:05:17No, so the-
00:05:18It's fermented.
00:05:19Fermented flour?
00:05:20Is that what sourdough is?
00:05:21Are taco sandwiches- I've literally- yeah, you know what, whatever.
00:05:27Taco cat is a palindrome.
00:05:28I think tacos are more like hot dogs.
00:05:29Oh, sorry, I'm gonna have to delete that.
00:05:32Steph, don't pretend, yeah.
00:05:34Um, wait, go down.
00:05:36Scroll down.
00:05:37Up.
00:05:38Two up.
00:05:39Give me your mice.
00:05:40Give me your mouse.
00:05:41Thank you.
00:05:42Sourdough is the best dough.
00:05:43I'm going here.
00:05:44He said, the world needs to know, are tacos sandwiches?
00:05:47I would say they're hot dogs, because if it's a sandwich, it has to have an open piece
00:05:52on either end, or there are some, but honestly, I think subs are just hot dogs, but modernized,
00:05:56so I think everything's a hot dog if it's connected at one end.
00:06:00Sure, sure.
00:06:01Food-wise.
00:06:02Interesting.
00:06:03One slice of bread is the way- oh, how very Irish of him.
00:06:08One slice of bread is the way.
00:06:11All right, if you're gonna bread, what does that mean?
00:06:14Ew, sourdough.
00:06:16It's like you take some spoiled dough and mix it with normal dough, with a man in finance
00:06:21who's six foot four- okay, what?
00:06:24Wraps are greater than sandwiches.
00:06:25Sourdough via anaerobic process.
00:06:28Anaerobic, does that mean no oxygen?
00:06:30Oh, yeah, yeah.
00:06:31I have not had a truly drunk audience since the last time I did a livestream.
00:06:35I think since the last time I came on here, we always talk about food, and that gets people
00:06:39mad.
00:06:40Uh, yes.
00:06:41Well, no, what really gets people mad is talking about diets.
00:06:45All right, um, what have we got here?
00:06:49Okay, but is cereal soup?
00:06:51Yeah.
00:06:52Interesting question.
00:06:53No, soup is cereal.
00:06:55Soup is cereal.
00:06:56I'm sorry, I'm just gonna translate that.
00:06:58Soup is cereal.
00:06:59There we go.
00:07:00All right.
00:07:02It's funny, Steph, your daughter talks just like you.
00:07:06Fermented foods are better for your stomach.
00:07:08Sourdough is the best.
00:07:10Okay, then I'm gonna go get drunk on a bottle of wine, because apparently that's fermented.
00:07:14Wine's good for you.
00:07:16That's what I just heard.
00:07:17I'm still curious to try olives on a hot dog.
00:07:20If you can still see the hot dog, you're not saving enough money with the olives.
00:07:24Oh, oh, wait, sorry.
00:07:26Hot dogs for a ridiculous amount of money.
00:07:28Can you do a good actually voice?
00:07:30Actually.
00:07:32Okay, can you just read what James has to say here?
00:07:35Actually, all bread is somewhat fermented.
00:07:38The difference is in the yeast you're using.
00:07:41Sourdough uses culture you keep alive, whereas other breads use dry yeast, and the taste is different.
00:07:49And the way you do actually is you go, actually.
00:07:52Actually.
00:07:53That's excellent.
00:07:55Nothing but moldy bread for three stinking days.
00:07:57Oh, good.
00:07:58We've got someone who's calling from Soviet gulags in the 1950s.
00:08:01All right.
00:08:02Okay, so let's get back here.
00:08:05Oh, is it showing up in both places?
00:08:07Let's check.
00:08:08There's one other place we need to check, which is the massive numbers of people watching
00:08:12over on Rumble.
00:08:14Oh, okay.
00:08:15No, that's nothing.
00:08:16Nothing exciting over there.
00:08:18All right.
00:08:19Wow.
00:08:20Most of the Rumble people.
00:08:22By the way, I've been hearing an old style sort of cell phone beeping in the audio.
00:08:27My phone is on silent, and I also, I've only gotten a-
00:08:29Can you put it on airplane mode?
00:08:31Because it might be interfering.
00:08:32No, it's on silent.
00:08:33No, airplane mode.
00:08:34Because as it tries to get-
00:08:35I need to get a text of my work updates.
00:08:37Oh, you do?
00:08:38Okay.
00:08:39They're yapping tonight.
00:08:40All right.
00:08:41Something about hours.
00:08:42I don't even know.
00:08:43Okay, so questions for Izzy.
00:08:44One was, are you shocked at the amount of taxes being deducted from your paycheck?
00:08:50So considering I'm actually under the age of 18, so I don't get taxed.
00:08:56I've got two and a half years, so I'm definitely going to savor it while I can.
00:09:03I'm asking for like as many hours, like I have two 11 hours shifts this weekend,
00:09:07and then a five hour shift on Friday, and then like a bunch during the week as well.
00:09:10So yes, I'm getting as much money as I can before I get hit with taxes.
00:09:14There's sort of a general principle that the government does, which is they want to keep
00:09:18people on the benefit side of taxation as long as humanly possible.
00:09:22You get daycare, you get government schools, you get free healthcare, free dental care.
00:09:25This is your mic, by the way.
00:09:27And then what you do is you give them subsidies and grants to go to university, and only then
00:09:34and later on, and now in Canada, do you know what percentage of people work for the government?
00:09:3925%.
00:09:40One out of four people who are working are working from the-
00:09:45I don't even get breaks at my place.
00:09:47I just work at the government.
00:09:48Oh no, government, you get a lot of breaks.
00:09:50A lot of breaks.
00:09:52It's all breaks.
00:09:53But they want to keep you on the receiving end, so that when you do finally pay taxes,
00:09:58you have received so many benefits that you've been programmed, right?
00:10:01Yeah.
00:10:03Here's my pro tip.
00:10:05Just identify as like a 16 year old or a 15 year old, so that when you're working, legally,
00:10:10they can't tax you, because otherwise that would be hate speech, and they're not allowing
00:10:13you to be you.
00:10:14Right.
00:10:16Okay, so Steph, did you tell us how many new subscribers came from going viral on X?
00:10:22Like 60 or something.
00:10:24Now, is someone actually asking me to finish a story?
00:10:28I mean, yeah, but you've come to the wrong show, buddy.
00:10:32That is...
00:10:33We're really going to break precedent if I start a thought and then at some point actually
00:10:37finish it.
00:10:38Did you answer the question?
00:10:39What?
00:10:40No, I'm still not answering the question, if you've noticed.
00:10:41But you can do it.
00:10:42What?
00:10:43What?
00:10:44I can do what?
00:10:45Answer the question?
00:10:46Yeah.
00:10:47On what evidence do you have that I finished thoughts?
00:10:48I don't know.
00:10:49Apparently, you're like some genius.
00:10:50Self-proclaimed.
00:10:51Self-proclaimed genius.
00:10:53I'm concerned that if I finish thoughts, people will be satisfied.
00:10:58I regret not working since the age of five and saving money.
00:11:02My ex-co-worker, she's super nice, but she started working at the place I'm working,
00:11:06when she was 13.
00:11:07I didn't even know it was legal.
00:11:09I tried to get a job when I was 13, and they were like, you're too young.
00:11:12Now, Izzy, if you could stop distracting me.
00:11:13I think it's important for me to answer this question.
00:11:16Okay, so the question is, and I would like people...
00:11:20So, Izzy, I did 8.4 million views, tens of thousands of comments and arguments and debates
00:11:25about me and good and bad and this and that and the other, right?
00:11:29And I did check about how many people actually subscribed, not just came and became members,
00:11:37but how many people ended up subscribing just on Locals, which is one way that I can tell, right?
00:11:41So, 8.4 million, how many people do you think ended up subscribing on Locals?
00:11:46I mean, you already told me, so I can't guess.
00:11:49All right.
00:11:50How many people?
00:11:52Not answering the question, is answering.
00:11:54Oh, aren't we very deep and very much a fortune cookie kind of brain?
00:11:58I mean, you are a philosophy.
00:12:00Well, yeah, but just paradoxes is not philosophy?
00:12:04Yeah.
00:12:05Or is it?
00:12:06Anyway.
00:12:07Maintain expectations.
00:12:0810,000.
00:12:10Wow, that would be...
00:12:11So, out of 8.4 million, Zinfa's saying we got 10,000 new subscribers.
00:12:14Boy, that would be nice.
00:12:1660.
00:12:17There's a variation here.
00:12:19I said it, that's the thing.
00:12:21I started delivering flyers and Sears catalogs around the age of 11 or 12.
00:12:25Wow.
00:12:27Curious, what is everyone's first job?
00:12:29Yeah, we'll get to first jobs.
00:12:31Okay, 10,068, 68, 100.
00:12:35Let's check here.
00:12:37I'm watching from Rumble, says Iron Jack.
00:12:39Excellent.
00:12:40That's crazy.
00:12:41What, somebody guessed four?
00:12:42I know that was me.
00:12:44Oh my gosh.
00:12:46What did you just say?
00:12:48Oh, you already told me, father.
00:12:50I can't possibly answer.
00:12:5284.
00:12:54Wow, greater than seven.
00:12:56Less than seven.
00:12:57100.
00:12:59Oh, greater, shoot.
00:13:01Homeschooling for the win.
00:13:03So, I like how he's like, greater than.
00:13:05But that's not a guess.
00:13:07I mean, if it was under the seven, then...
00:13:09I misinterpreted the question.
00:13:11Oh, I'm sorry, man.
00:13:13You've already been marked.
00:13:14Yeah, it's already gone into your permanent record,
00:13:16which will be forwarded to the establishment authorities
00:13:19and any higher education that you want to do.
00:13:23Okay, so the answer is two.
00:13:27I thought you got, was it on a different platform then?
00:13:29Because I heard 60 somewhere.
00:13:31No, so 60 with the number of people who decided to join Locals.
00:13:36Two with the number of people who decided to subscribe.
00:13:39Now, I mean, we get a subscriber or two every day or other day
00:13:42or something like that.
00:13:44Basically, given that the average would be one,
00:13:47out of 8.4 million views and tens of thousands of comments,
00:13:52we got between one and two subscribers.
00:13:55Yeah, I mean, I would count it as the 60,
00:13:57because some people might just be like,
00:14:00um, what am I trying to say?
00:14:03I don't know, but if you could tell us, that would be excellent.
00:14:06This is the symbol.
00:14:07People don't know what this symbol is.
00:14:09Hang on.
00:14:11Yes, I get a fair amount of Air Pac-Man during the course of the day.
00:14:14What was I going to say?
00:14:16I was, oh yeah, I'd probably be like 60.
00:14:19I mean, considering, I wouldn't say two,
00:14:2160 people are probably came to see like what's up with the show
00:14:25and like if you're still interesting or not.
00:14:27Because I don't think people would just see a tweet
00:14:29and immediately come subscribe for money.
00:14:31Well, you would actually be right about that.
00:14:33I'm just saying, I'm just saying.
00:14:36So, even 60, James, can you just grab that?
00:14:40Because I did the ratio.
00:14:42I was telling James about the 60 people who joined for free,
00:14:45which is fine, joined locals and welcome.
00:14:47Nice to have you here.
00:14:49But I was telling James, 60 people joined.
00:14:51And he was like, wow, that's great.
00:14:53And I'm like, I don't quite agree.
00:14:55And James, if you can just give me the,
00:14:57I can't remember.
00:14:59I think it was four or five zeros,
00:15:01the percent conversion rate from 8.4 million
00:15:03just down to the 60 who joined.
00:15:05James is going to pop that up.
00:15:07But yeah, it really was quite something.
00:15:12So, all right.
00:15:14Let's see here.
00:15:16Let's get to your questions in just a sec.
00:15:18You don't need to answer that one.
00:15:20But...
00:15:22You've got to admit human productivity
00:15:24in the modern world is extraordinarily high
00:15:26if 25% of the population can survive
00:15:28while also contributing nothing to the market.
00:15:30Well, fancy Duke, I must tell you
00:15:32that's not quite accurate.
00:15:34Government workers, not only do they not contribute
00:15:36to the market, they take away by interfering
00:15:38with other people's productive endeavors.
00:15:40All right.
00:15:42Let's see here.
00:15:44We're still waiting on James
00:15:46to give me the number.
00:15:48It's just copy paste.
00:15:5060 out of 8.4 million
00:15:52is a conversion rate.
00:15:54Conversion rate is general impressions
00:15:56to people who participate
00:15:58in something or other.
00:16:00Like if you send out a mail out,
00:16:02the number of people who come
00:16:04to your website or whatever it is, right?
00:16:06So, 60 out of 8.4 million
00:16:08is 0.00071%.
00:16:10Just members, not subscribers.
00:16:12James, would you mind running
00:16:14the 8.4 million
00:16:16and two paying subscribers?
00:16:18That'd probably be like 0.00...
00:16:20Two paying subscribers.
00:16:22I think it'd be 5%.
00:16:24It's the fact that it's...
00:16:26Or like 0.005, yeah, whatever.
00:16:28Yeah.
00:16:30So, two supporters out 8.4 million impressions
00:16:32is 0.000024%.
00:16:34So, at this rate,
00:16:36I'm selling a kidney by next week.
00:16:38So, just, you know,
00:16:40I have sort of my moral reasons
00:16:42for doing this.
00:16:44So, I'll see you next week.
00:16:46Bye-bye.
00:17:12I have to say that
00:17:14it was pretty nice
00:17:16to still be wildly controversial
00:17:19like over four years
00:17:21since being deplatformed.
00:17:23To still be able
00:17:25to enrage people
00:17:27into love and hatred
00:17:29after having been gone
00:17:31for 50 months.
00:17:33I mean, that is really, really
00:17:35something.
00:17:37That is really, really something.
00:17:39It's a talent.
00:17:40It's a talent.
00:17:42All right.
00:17:44So, a number of people
00:17:46I did ask, sort of,
00:17:48people had questions ahead of time
00:17:50and a number of people
00:17:52had questions for you
00:17:54because I said you got your first...
00:17:56Well, actually, it's your second job
00:17:58because your first job...
00:18:00A little bit of that,
00:18:02but I would say that your first job
00:18:04is mood managing the Patriarch
00:18:06since what age?
00:18:08Three.
00:18:10Well, that you can remember.
00:18:12Yes, I think it's a baby.
00:18:14Probably some.
00:18:16Yeah, probably some.
00:18:18So,
00:18:20work experience.
00:18:22I've actually learned quite a lot
00:18:24from your job,
00:18:25much to my horror.
00:18:26Oh, my God.
00:18:27Much to my horror.
00:18:28This is horrifying.
00:18:30I have an 11-hour shift
00:18:32with zero breaks
00:18:33and then I have a 12-hour shift
00:18:35with also zero breaks.
00:18:37Cleaning chimneys is very tough.
00:18:39I'm actually just referring to you
00:18:41as Oliver Twist.
00:18:42Okay, so if you can tell people,
00:18:43obviously we won't get into
00:18:44specifics and details,
00:18:45but tell people a little bit
00:18:46about the job as a whole.
00:18:48So,
00:18:49I was hired
00:18:51very, very quickly
00:18:52after new management took over.
00:18:54I think it was a day.
00:18:56And you got the job
00:18:57before the interview
00:18:58was even booked to start.
00:19:00Yes, I showed up about five,
00:19:01I think it was eight minutes early.
00:19:03The interview was,
00:19:04I don't know,
00:19:05like 2 or 3 p.m. or something
00:19:06and I showed up
00:19:07like eight minutes early
00:19:09and she sat down
00:19:10and we chatted
00:19:11and then she said,
00:19:12yeah, so when can you start?
00:19:13After asking me like three questions
00:19:14and I'm like,
00:19:15oh, I can start tomorrow
00:19:16if you want.
00:19:17Anyways,
00:19:18I ended up starting
00:19:19two days after that.
00:19:20But it was on a Monday
00:19:21and then I had my first training
00:19:22on a Wednesday.
00:19:23Wait,
00:19:24what did you do on Monday?
00:19:25The interview.
00:19:26Oh, the interview.
00:19:27So you started,
00:19:28you went in just for training
00:19:29on Wednesday.
00:19:30I went in just for training
00:19:31on Wednesday
00:19:32but my interview was Monday
00:19:33and I was hired in eight minutes,
00:19:34I think.
00:19:35And I remember it was like 1.59
00:19:36or 1.58
00:19:37and I called you guys
00:19:38and you picked me up.
00:19:39I'm like,
00:19:40we haven't even started
00:19:41the interview yet.
00:19:42You're like,
00:19:43how did I mess up that bad?
00:19:44No, I didn't think
00:19:45that was happening,
00:19:46but yeah.
00:19:47Yeah, so they'd already left
00:19:48because they thought
00:19:49it would be like 20 minutes.
00:19:50Oh yeah, for sure, yeah.
00:19:51Right?
00:19:52But then we came back
00:19:53and I was like,
00:19:54I'm hired.
00:19:55So how was your training
00:19:56on the Wednesday?
00:19:57Oh my God.
00:19:58So I get there
00:19:59and the place I work at,
00:20:00so it's a cafe
00:20:01and then an ice cream shop
00:20:02and it's like,
00:20:04they're different buildings
00:20:05but it's the same business
00:20:07and they're attached.
00:20:08They're kind of attached,
00:20:09but not exactly.
00:20:10Like you can't get from
00:20:11one to the other,
00:20:12so technically they're
00:20:13different buildings.
00:20:14But I think you're
00:20:15building tunnels.
00:20:16No, you can't.
00:20:17I'm kidding, I'm kidding.
00:20:18What?
00:20:19You're building tunnels
00:20:20between the two.
00:20:21Oh yeah, yeah.
00:20:22It's like a little
00:20:23underground mine.
00:20:24Yeah, you get what I'm saying.
00:20:25But what was it?
00:20:26Sorry.
00:20:27I got there on Wednesday
00:20:28and it was a two-hour
00:20:29training shift
00:20:30because I started working
00:20:31in the ice cream shop.
00:20:32This was like,
00:20:33I don't know,
00:20:34a month ago,
00:20:35just over a month ago.
00:20:37Wow, okay.
00:20:39But it was the,
00:20:42they didn't have
00:20:43the ice cream shop open
00:20:44so they were starting it
00:20:45just for the season,
00:20:46you know, kids got out of school
00:20:47and stuff like that.
00:20:48But they had a little
00:20:49ice cream freezer
00:20:50in the actual cafe
00:20:51in case people wanted it,
00:20:52they could scoop it
00:20:53and serve it to them.
00:20:54However,
00:20:55one of my co-workers
00:20:56who I really like,
00:20:57I didn't obviously know her
00:20:58at the time,
00:20:59but I've put pieces together,
00:21:00she turned the freezer off
00:21:02the night before
00:21:03just accidentally.
00:21:04Like she kicked the button
00:21:05and the entire freezer,
00:21:07all the ice cream
00:21:08had melted completely
00:21:09and it was,
00:21:11it was also like,
00:21:12when you scoop ice cream,
00:21:13and I've learned this
00:21:14over the last couple weeks,
00:21:15sometimes the scoop's just,
00:21:17like the ice cream's just
00:21:18gonna fly out of the scoop
00:21:19and fall to the bottom
00:21:20of the freezer.
00:21:21This freezer probably
00:21:22hadn't been cleaned
00:21:23in two or three years
00:21:24because the amount
00:21:25of ice cream at the bottom,
00:21:26like you could make
00:21:27at least 10 or 20 cones.
00:21:28Like I'm being serious,
00:21:29it was just ice cream
00:21:30and ice cream.
00:21:31However, it was all melted
00:21:32so it was just a goopy mess.
00:21:33It was my job to clean it
00:21:35so I spent about an hour
00:21:36cleaning out a frozen freezer.
00:21:37I could not-
00:21:38Which is what,
00:21:39how does that train you?
00:21:40I didn't get,
00:21:41I didn't learn anything.
00:21:42Right.
00:21:43And then after that,
00:21:44we had to clean out
00:21:45the actual ice cream.
00:21:46It's like,
00:21:47I wanna say,
00:21:48we call it the barn,
00:21:49it's not a barn,
00:21:50but it's like
00:21:51a little tiny room,
00:21:52maybe,
00:21:53I wanna say the size
00:21:54of a big car.
00:21:55Yeah, it's tight in there.
00:21:56It's a very small-
00:21:57Well the room's a little bigger
00:21:58but there's lots of shelves
00:21:59and freezers and-
00:22:00There's shelves around
00:22:01every corner,
00:22:02there's a sink
00:22:03and then there's two freezers
00:22:05It's tight!
00:22:06And then half of the floor space
00:22:07is used to store stuff
00:22:08so there's maybe about
00:22:09a meter and a half
00:22:10of walking space,
00:22:11like it's tiny in there.
00:22:12But I got-
00:22:15What interview questions
00:22:16did they ask?
00:22:17Oh, the question is,
00:22:18was about the job.
00:22:19Yep.
00:22:20So I'm just explaining.
00:22:21But,
00:22:22I get in there
00:22:23and there's another girl there
00:22:24who was also
00:22:25supposed to work ice cream.
00:22:27She was in college,
00:22:28I believe,
00:22:29and this was like,
00:22:30she was quitting a different job
00:22:31and trying to get this.
00:22:32I don't know why you go
00:22:33from a waitress
00:22:35You do you.
00:22:36But,
00:22:37she was there
00:22:38and we were both cleaning
00:22:39and she was very quiet.
00:22:40I was trying to make small talk
00:22:41and just chat with her
00:22:42and ask about her life
00:22:43and she was like,
00:22:44kind of two word responses
00:22:45and stuff.
00:22:46So we basically just cleaned
00:22:47and silenced her
00:22:48for about half an hour.
00:22:49So I'm an hour and a half
00:22:50into my training
00:22:51and then,
00:22:52this one girl comes in
00:22:53and she's like,
00:22:54we do not have a cash register.
00:22:55Do any of you guys-
00:22:56A little earlier,
00:22:57we had some garbage bags
00:22:58that we'd just taken out.
00:22:59She was like,
00:23:00did any of you guys
00:23:01throw out the cash register
00:23:02because it was in a black
00:23:03garbage bag?
00:23:04Did any of you
00:23:05throw out the cash register?
00:23:06I'm like,
00:23:07I don't know.
00:23:08I mean,
00:23:09it was in a garbage bag.
00:23:10Why was the cash register
00:23:11in a garbage bag?
00:23:12There was a pile of garbage
00:23:13you said thrown out.
00:23:14Seems important.
00:23:15I basically said,
00:23:16there was a pile of garbage
00:23:17in this room.
00:23:18You,
00:23:19and me,
00:23:20and the other girl
00:23:21threw it out.
00:23:22How are we supposed to know
00:23:23if it was in one of those bags?
00:23:24And she's like,
00:23:25well did you throw it out?
00:23:26And,
00:23:27I'm not on good terms
00:23:28with this girl.
00:23:29But,
00:23:30I was like,
00:23:31I have no idea.
00:23:32Anyways,
00:23:34I was like,
00:23:35I can go look.
00:23:36In the garbage.
00:23:37And they were like,
00:23:38no, no, that's fine.
00:23:39And I'm like,
00:23:40okay, good.
00:23:41And then they come back
00:23:4210 minutes later
00:23:43and they're like,
00:23:44your wish came true.
00:23:45And I go into this dumpster,
00:23:46literally infested with wasps.
00:23:47Like,
00:23:48I'm dead.
00:23:49They were everywhere.
00:23:50Holy crap.
00:23:51But,
00:23:52I find the cash register
00:23:53in the garbage
00:23:54with the wasps.
00:23:55Yes.
00:23:56And,
00:23:57I'm like,
00:23:58how do you throw out,
00:23:59why would you put it
00:24:00in a garbage bag?
00:24:01Anyways,
00:24:02I got the cash register back.
00:24:03However,
00:24:04it's broken.
00:24:05So,
00:24:06we can't even shut it.
00:24:07Wait,
00:24:08it's broken because
00:24:09it was thrown out?
00:24:10Yeah.
00:24:11Okay.
00:24:12Like,
00:24:13with the force
00:24:14because it was at the bottom
00:24:15of the bag.
00:24:16So,
00:24:17we had to clean the cash register.
00:24:18And then,
00:24:19it's kind of broken.
00:24:20So,
00:24:21you have to go underneath
00:24:22and there's a little mechanism
00:24:23you can use to open it.
00:24:24Yeah.
00:24:25For any of you who worked,
00:24:26I think most cash registers
00:24:27are like this.
00:24:28Yeah.
00:24:29And,
00:24:30I,
00:24:31hit a little mechanism,
00:24:32pull it back
00:24:33and then push it forward.
00:24:34Where it's supposed to be
00:24:35after you push the dials,
00:24:36it's supposed to,
00:24:37oh,
00:24:38like the buttons
00:24:39are supposed to open, right?
00:24:40Yeah,
00:24:41those buttons don't even work.
00:24:42The screen's just completely fried.
00:24:43Ew,
00:24:44covered in garbage juices.
00:24:45Oh,
00:24:46it was not fun.
00:24:47Anyway,
00:24:48yeah,
00:24:49welcome to the workforce.
00:24:50Thank you,
00:24:51I appreciate it.
00:24:52And then,
00:24:53what was it?
00:24:54During this,
00:24:55a customer comes
00:24:56and the other girls are like,
00:24:57we're closed.
00:24:58And they're like,
00:24:59oh,
00:25:00the cafe?
00:25:01No,
00:25:02the cafe ice cream melted,
00:25:03but in the actual ice cream bar,
00:25:04we've had it still
00:25:05from like a month ago
00:25:06or whatever,
00:25:07but ice cream stays good
00:25:08for three or four months.
00:25:09So,
00:25:10anyways,
00:25:11I'm like,
00:25:12yeah,
00:25:13we do.
00:25:14And they're like,
00:25:15what?
00:25:16I'm like,
00:25:17it's in the freezers.
00:25:18Guys,
00:25:19you run this place.
00:25:20How do you not know?
00:25:21Obviously,
00:25:22I don't sound that emphatic
00:25:23or rude when I'm talking to them,
00:25:24but that's kind of the gist
00:25:25of what I said.
00:25:26Literally getting paid
00:25:27to dumpster dive.
00:25:28Yeah,
00:25:29they call me in.
00:25:30Like,
00:25:31I'm dead serious.
00:25:32Hey,
00:25:33who's the girl
00:25:34who's good with that?
00:25:35Yeah,
00:25:36so,
00:25:37and I'm literally like,
00:25:38I've said to them,
00:25:39guys,
00:25:40can I like stop doing this?
00:25:41You know,
00:25:42I'm like the 15 year old
00:25:43y'all are in college.
00:25:44Like,
00:25:45putting the new hire
00:25:46to do all the gross stuff
00:25:47and it's been some
00:25:48seriously gross stuff.
00:25:49Like,
00:25:50really bad.
00:25:51But,
00:25:52no,
00:25:53apparently not.
00:25:54Anyways,
00:25:55the tips are insane.
00:25:56So,
00:25:57I'll still work there.
00:25:58But,
00:25:59um,
00:26:00yeah,
00:26:01you know,
00:26:02that was a complete mess.
00:26:03And then on Friday,
00:26:04I had a four hour shift
00:26:05of actually working,
00:26:06despite a lot of stuff
00:26:07not working.
00:26:08Um,
00:26:09and,
00:26:10you know what it is?
00:26:11The very first day
00:26:12I worked there,
00:26:13a ton of people were like,
00:26:14doing the,
00:26:15like,
00:26:16asking the weirdest questions
00:26:17or trying to pay with like,
00:26:18European dollars.
00:26:19That's right.
00:26:20Or American dollars,
00:26:21right?
00:26:22I'm going to pay
00:26:23the stock tips and dance moves.
00:26:24No,
00:26:25literally.
00:26:26And I was like,
00:26:28So,
00:26:29on the day I had no idea
00:26:30what I was doing,
00:26:31I got all the weird stuff.
00:26:32Yep.
00:26:33No one's tried to pay
00:26:34in American dollar cents,
00:26:35since.
00:26:36Yep.
00:26:37No one's asked for just codes
00:26:38without the ice cream.
00:26:39Yep.
00:26:40No one's asked for,
00:26:41like,
00:26:42a four scoop ice cream,
00:26:43which we don't even sell.
00:26:44Yep.
00:26:45That was all on my first day,
00:26:46which I just felt like,
00:26:47completely unlucky.
00:26:48But,
00:26:49I was-
00:26:50Well,
00:26:51and you went in without training
00:26:52on that first day.
00:26:53Yeah.
00:26:54So,
00:26:55here's the thing.
00:26:56I don't want to work with her,
00:26:57and it's literally us
00:26:58for, like,
00:26:59eight hours.
00:27:00Yeah.
00:27:01It's me and my co-worker.
00:27:02So,
00:27:03I have a different co-worker now.
00:27:04She's super nice.
00:27:05I really like her.
00:27:06But,
00:27:07um,
00:27:08yeah.
00:27:09So,
00:27:10that was a bit of a mess.
00:27:11Anyways,
00:27:12I've been yapping a lot,
00:27:13but-
00:27:14No,
00:27:15no,
00:27:16it's good.
00:27:17It was just,
00:27:18uh,
00:27:19that first day,
00:27:20I was there four hours
00:27:21by myself.
00:27:22Fortunately,
00:27:23it completely poured.
00:27:24That was,
00:27:25like,
00:27:26two weeks ago,
00:27:27and they set that up
00:27:28two weeks in.
00:27:29Okay.
00:27:30So,
00:27:31and it was really funny
00:27:32because it was on the Friday,
00:27:33and then I had two eight-hour shifts
00:27:34on the weekend in a row.
00:27:35Saturday and Sunday,
00:27:36it was 12 to 8
00:27:37plus closing.
00:27:38Yeah.
00:27:39Um,
00:27:40and
00:27:41then I said,
00:27:42the next day,
00:27:43this one girl,
00:27:44the girl who was like,
00:27:45did you throw out the cash register,
00:27:46like,
00:27:47really aggressively?
00:27:48Yeah.
00:27:49She came in and she's like,
00:27:50are you worried about tomorrow?
00:27:51And I'm like,
00:27:52well,
00:27:53a little bit,
00:27:54but there will be a line
00:27:55up down the street.
00:27:56There will be a line up
00:27:57down the street.
00:27:58Yeah.
00:27:59And I'm like,
00:28:00that's,
00:28:01that's comforting.
00:28:02And she's like,
00:28:03no,
00:28:04I'm serious.
00:28:05It's going to get really busy,
00:28:06so you're going to have to
00:28:07scoop really fast.
00:28:08I'm like,
00:28:09okay.
00:28:10Right.
00:28:11Calm down.
00:28:12And then I'm like,
00:28:13why am I working alone?
00:28:14Like,
00:28:15don't you have someone
00:28:16from the cafe you can call in?
00:28:17Because I've barely
00:28:18got any training either.
00:28:19My Wednesday was spent cleaning.
00:28:20Yeah.
00:28:21And,
00:28:22uh,
00:28:24does Canada accept
00:28:25American currency
00:28:26in normal stores?
00:28:27No.
00:28:28And to my knowledge,
00:28:29no,
00:28:30because when I,
00:28:31when I said,
00:28:32because I didn't know what to do
00:28:33and I wasn't going to be like,
00:28:34no,
00:28:35you can't pay with American
00:28:36in case they were like,
00:28:37yeah,
00:28:38you can.
00:28:39I've done it before.
00:28:40Right.
00:28:41So I was just like,
00:28:42okay.
00:28:43So you just,
00:28:44did you take it at par or?
00:28:45It was exactly,
00:28:46their order was exactly 20.
00:28:47Oh,
00:28:48and the dollar,
00:28:49the bill is 20.
00:28:50So I was just like,
00:28:51I'll take this.
00:28:52I'm not going to pay.
00:28:53I'm not going to pay.
00:28:54Right.
00:28:55Right,
00:28:56right,
00:28:57right.
00:28:58Right.
00:28:59Um,
00:29:00so yeah,
00:29:01it was a bit of a mess.
00:29:02Now,
00:29:03if there's more that you want to add,
00:29:04that's fine.
00:29:05No,
00:29:06but I do think that we need to turn
00:29:07to,
00:29:08to the,
00:29:09the horror of what I've learned from Izzy's job.
00:29:12Yeah.
00:29:13So it's not the most.
00:29:16Honorable.
00:29:17Masculine of environment.
00:29:19It's only women.
00:29:20There's not a single man.
00:29:21Yeah.
00:29:22It's all,
00:29:23it's all young,
00:29:24young ladies.
00:29:25The last man that worked there was when it opened
00:29:26seven years ago.
00:29:27Cause I found a,
00:29:28uh,
00:29:29what's it called?
00:29:30A sheet of like the very,
00:29:31and there were two male names and that's it.
00:29:33So tips.
00:29:34Tips are insane.
00:29:35Tips are insane.
00:29:36More than my hourly wage in tips.
00:29:37So tips are crazy.
00:29:38And I mean like per hour,
00:29:39not the whole day.
00:29:40So,
00:29:41so tips are kind of crazy.
00:29:42Um,
00:29:43and it seems to me that the females are not,
00:29:45completely ignorant of the relationship between young men liking them and
00:29:46getting good tips.
00:29:47Do I have that?
00:29:48Do I have that correct?
00:29:49And I would say,
00:29:50I would say,
00:29:51and you know,
00:29:52of course,
00:29:53it infinitely better than I do,
00:29:54but I would say that in fairly blunt terms,
00:29:55they discuss the best way to,
00:29:56to,
00:29:57to,
00:29:58to,
00:29:59to,
00:30:00to,

00:48:40And it's the snake with the crooked teeth right right. Oh, did we lose that hang on?
00:48:45Wait a day destroy the live stream the live stream will return. No it will not it's lost forever in the depths
00:48:52Good day, mate. You have a step-sister half-sister. Oh wait. No. Yeah
00:48:57Mine's actually the left half. I think yeah
00:49:02Let's see here
00:49:06Stefan Murphy, yes, that's right Stefan. I'm all in you. I'm all in you
00:49:11Have you taught is he cockney rhyming slang yet? I'm scared. Well. No she heard some of me do some of Roman from them
00:49:16taught with an H
00:49:18Have you taught?
00:49:21I
00:49:23Have a half-sister yeah, my father got remarried
00:49:27Surprised the law isn't coming out the law is coming out
00:49:31now I see I just I
00:49:34Know that this is tough for you, but I'm sorry that people just aren't tipping
00:49:38and
00:49:39That's because
00:49:41That's good on camera. I'm very very sorry that people aren't tipping for the wonderful contributions. You're having to the show
00:49:48I'm just gonna hold you so you don't feel so bad. All right, okay, so yeah, maybe if we do more irritating British accents
00:49:57They're all irritating
00:49:59Oh insults, okay, so we've asked for first jobs. Let's ask for worst jobs
00:50:08Yes, well your big lesson is those who are competent stuff get punished by more work
00:50:13Honestly, I'll tip for ice cream. Thanks, bro. I will give you extra when people tip. I literally put more ice cream
00:50:22No, it's not even that here's the thing though. Okay, it's not because they tip it's because usually the people who tip are friendly
00:50:29So if you're friendly and chatty, I'll be nice to you back by giving you more ice cream
00:50:33Like I try and make small talk with everyone
00:50:35I like who comes because I want them to remember the place
00:50:38I want to be friendly and I just you know
00:50:40Honestly, the more you small talk to more likely they're to tip but even if they don't certified yapper appreciate it
00:50:45I will take my certification and use it to get a new job
00:50:50I'm literally gonna put down my next job resume. I am a certified a yapper by c2 spark. Okay
00:50:56Why did that go Valley girl?
00:50:58See just by
00:51:00Okay
00:51:01Okay, thanks. Thank you. Appreciate it. I will take it. I'm kidding. Um
00:51:07But what was I gonna say? Oh, yeah, so I will make like a small talk and I'll chat with pretty much everyone. Um,
00:51:14But it's the people that don't chat that usually don't tip because they're just kind of unfriendly and cold
00:51:19Yeah, and look, I mean obviously I'm not saying you have to tip if you don't want to tip you don't have to tip
00:51:23Okay, it's ice cream. It's not like I'm a waitress or something
00:51:26Like a complicated restaurant memorizing orders
00:51:28I literally have a notepad and like it's not that serious if you don't tip I'm not upset with you
00:51:33But if you're friendly if you're unfriendly, that's what I don't like just be friendly, you know
00:51:38You don't have to be a great too. Maybe you're shy but just smile and say thanks and please like it's not that hard
00:51:43Okay, we're Canadian. You're supposed to be like this. But like what annoys me the most is when someone will say I'll take three cones
00:51:50Okay, are you missing a few steps with your order
00:51:55Maybe the flavor the size whether you want toppings, but you don't say in that sarcastic
00:52:02Okay, what flavors did you like for those? Can you narrow it down a little please? I've got 24 flavors in there
00:52:10You know next time they do that. I'm literally just gonna charge them like four dollars and give them three cones exactly like sorry
00:52:17exactly
00:52:20Uh, why not it's all for sale
00:52:23Worst job sub shop and what's wrong?
00:52:27Why'd they're like twice
00:52:31I was gonna I was gonna say something. I send a tip on a website with a message. Why thank you very much
00:52:36most kind
00:52:38Thanks for the ice cream Izzy. Oh
00:52:42All right, very nice, thank you. Thank you. Thank you
00:52:47Maybe they just want the cone
00:52:49No, but the thing is then like the thing is if I say just three cones the big yeah
00:52:54And then if I ask what flavor they want, they'll be like no like sorry
00:52:58They won't be no, but if they if they only wanted the cones, they just say no. I just want the cones
00:53:02But we don't just sell the cones about the ice. No
00:53:05If you want three waffle cones we can do that because they're a dollar
00:53:08Yeah
00:53:08but the reason they're a dollar is because we put more ice cream in them because they're bigger which I literally have to explain every
00:53:14Time someone orders it because I'll say that's a dollar extra. Is that okay?
00:53:16And they're like why so usually I just started off by saying, okay
00:53:19Well, they're bigger and sweeter
00:53:20But since they're bigger we put like half a scoop or a scoop extra ice cream in them even for whatever size you get
00:53:26is that okay because it'll be a dollar extra like that kind of thing and
00:53:29Cuz they can't I don't know anyways
00:53:32I'm I wanted to mention something a little bit too. So we're just gonna do Izzy and me too bad. Love it. So
00:53:39We had two instances of pretty bad service today, oh my god, yes, this is adding on to what Zinf is saying since what did
00:53:46When I go into a place looking to conduct business and the service person at the counter acts like I completely ruined their day for
00:53:51Not wanting to for wanting to buy something. Yeah, I am with you. That's why whenever someone comes I'm friendly. Hi. How are you?
00:53:58If I'm busy, I'll be look I have to make three more ice creams, but I'll be with you in just a second
00:54:02Why don't you decide let me know if you want any samples while I make them right communication
00:54:05I just chat with them and I'll be like, you know, I'll be two minutes. Is that okay?
00:54:08And I'll say if you want anything from the cafe, they're not busy right now
00:54:12Is that kind of thing but we went into a restaurant today because we wanted to get lunch and
00:54:19Took a better day cuz it's a fun day. Okay, so we got up and we threw some planes
00:54:23Yes, cuz we got I got them from the dollar store
00:54:26They made them a dollar extra since I was last there like two now
00:54:28It's a two dollar store
00:54:29So we threw some planes and then just before my arm left its socket because I have this weird belief that throwing it harder makes
00:54:35It go better. They're just they're just like polystyrene planes
00:54:37So then we went for a full airplane so you can put 50 to 60 people
00:54:42We went for a river walk and I'm not sure people would really understand that
00:54:46It's basically there's an area and I use my absolute geniusness to find the exact
00:54:51Before I'm basically like that rainbow guy on geoguessr
00:54:54I'm not I use Google Maps, but I couldn't find the same place, but I had to you know, I figured it out
00:54:59Anyways, um, I'm not it wasn't that serious, but it's basically you take a walk until you can find a creek
00:55:05So usually it's a bit of a ways
00:55:06But this one's pretty close to like the entrance of the trail
00:55:08Yeah, and then you go into the creek and you just basically hunt for critters. You might find frogs turtles
00:55:14We found ducks and ducklings today, which is really that was very cool. She just had two ducklings, but they were they were very cute
00:55:21And this one actually had a big island in the middle. Yes. It was a really really wide River, but it's shallow
00:55:27It's usually knee-deep at most and you can look and when it's shallow, especially like if it's only foot deep
00:55:33Or there's like rocks that you can kind of stand on because they're big you flip little rocks and look for crayfish
00:55:38Yes, or small fish. So just kind of sit there. It's really fun
00:55:41It sounds like it might be boring, but it's actually really no, it's really cool
00:55:44And is he his first two today first two crayfish?
00:55:47I have mostly been observing in filming Izzy because they kind of give me a little bit of the ick
00:55:53Because they're like interdimensional lobster travelers from the future. Hey lobsters, that's true
00:55:59But only when I don't think of them as giant sea cockroaches
00:56:03How you like you see cockroach
00:56:06But anyway, so Izzy was a very patient I would say as I repeatedly scream
00:56:13Yeah, I just don't have any fear anymore and I just accept it when they pinch my fingers into blood nowadays
00:56:18So I was able to catch those which was great
00:56:20And then we walked around and we ended up walking on a trail for dirt bikes. Yeah, which is really cool
00:56:25They had a picnic table set up is like a job like they build it up to the sides of earth
00:56:29At the top of it you went over we thought it was like, oh someone eats here
00:56:33Yeah, you were like the ground is swallowing it up and like no, it's a dirt job. Like it was really funny
00:56:37So I I don't know. Let's do a tiny bit of backstory
00:56:40So I have realized that the best way for me to avoid a mid-afternoon lull in energy is not to eat much if any I
00:56:49Don't think people could see that so they just fascinated by my tales of eating
00:56:53So
00:56:55So I don't eat sort of till later in the day, but then I get kind of hungry
00:56:59So we were kind of hungry. We look for a place
00:57:03First place we went to we wanted an all-day breakfast
00:57:05The first place we went to was like we have a special eggs special, but it was EGS
00:57:11I don't know if you noticed that on the board. And so there was this guy behind the counter and I'm like
00:57:16What is your egg special and he basically said oh, it's traditional Ethiopian food now
00:57:21I don't I can be a little bit adventurous with eating. But honestly, I just wanted some
00:57:28That's right, I want to be glazed in MSG and also we're gonna get into the oily face phenomenon
00:57:32But so bookmark that in your brain, so we end we left there we went to another place
00:57:38What was wrong with the second place the second place was closed. No the phone of the place. No, it's the Peter pit
00:57:44Oh, yeah. Yeah. So the Peter pit so we went into the Peter pit. Yeah, and we're just standing by the cash register
00:57:49We're just standing by the cash register three other people in the entire restaurant
00:57:52One of them's already eating and the other two are sitting at their chair waiting for their order to be called
00:57:57Yeah, and we were there probably five or seven minutes ten minutes ten minutes. Nobody greeted us. Nobody said just a moment
00:58:03Nobody we had no idea what was going on
00:58:06Didn't even look at us. So we're no one else there and we were talking loudly
00:58:09So they obviously knew we were at the counter
00:58:11we'd even brought bunch like took drinks out of the freezer or the fridge I mean to pay and
00:58:17Like it was absolutely ridiculous, right?
00:58:20So anyway, I've after a certain amount of time. I'm just like I'm not subsidizing a business
00:58:25This is this badly right? I get so irritated because well now in particular you right?
00:58:29Yeah, because I mean for me working again as I said before if I'm busy like sometimes people will order
00:58:34I had some guy came up and he's like, okay, so I'll take some ice creams and I'm like how many is like 10?
00:58:39I'm like and then I'm like, oh 10
00:58:41It's like yeah six doubles four singles and one hot dog and can you mix flavors for the double wait, that's 11
00:58:48No one hot dog. Sorry. Yeah, and he's like, can you mix flavors for the doubles? I'm like, yeah
00:58:54And he's like, okay, so but please don't like can you write six doubles and then four single one?
00:58:59Yeah
00:58:59And then we took like probably five to ten minutes to get his order because he kept changing it because his friends were coming like
00:59:05No, I don't want mango. Actually, can I take pistachio almond?
00:59:07Like it was a whole bunch. It was a mess, but we got the order
00:59:10So then the next customer came and they've been waiting forever in the line, too
00:59:13And I was like, hey, I'm really sorry
00:59:15I think you if you don't mind waiting a minute, you know, maybe pick your flavors if you want to try any samples
00:59:20Let me know but I have ten ice creams. I've got to make and I'm by myself
00:59:24Yep, so I'll be with you in just a minute
00:59:26Like I'll maybe more than a minute, but I was just friendly and I was like look I'm gonna be a minute
00:59:30Yeah, it was like this place wasn't even busy
00:59:34Like two people waiting for their food and yes, I know there's online ordering but like at least say something at least say yeah
00:59:41I've got some online orders, but I'll be with you. Yeah, and she wasn't even moving quick. She was like meandering around
00:59:45No, it was like when we were at that
00:59:47that park the the the the fun park and it was
00:59:54Slow motion. Everything was just slow motion. Yeah
00:59:58Because I think it was a drink like just at the end of the restrictions
01:00:02Yeah, and they were just it was like some roller coaster
01:00:05Yeah, and they were taking forever to clean it and it's like just meandering
01:00:13So and so that we left there and then we we got some lunch which was fine and
01:00:20Then we went to Starbucks and that was slow
01:00:23Holy crap. I mean she really didn't seem to understand my order at all because you were making zero sense
01:00:29You were yapping about it was just slow that's really what I'm saying it was him he was saying about the
01:00:36like
01:00:38The nitro cold brew. Yeah, so available much and last time they went there. Hold on
01:00:43You're gonna tell it from an extremely biased opinion. So you're not
01:00:47No
01:00:49Silent spell has been cast kidding, but no, so he likes his nitro cold brew addiction, but
01:00:56He it wasn't available last time at that Starbucks and
01:01:02Yeah wandering into money laundering screams very accurate but
01:01:06We were at the Starbucks and last time the machine was down. I'm basically a McDonald's at this point, but
01:01:12This time we went back and he was like last time, you know, this is really gonna determine but he was talking so slow
01:01:18He was like this is really gonna determine the rest of my no. No, that's not how it started
01:01:23I said there are times when a man gets to a fork in the road
01:01:26Oh, yeah, which leads either to joy or misery and potentially arson and it really hinges on whether or not you have
01:01:33Nitro cold brews available for me at this moment
01:01:36And I think it went on for another five to ten minutes with a lot of military acronyms if I remember rightly
01:01:42Okay
01:01:43But she she followed it. No, she actually followed it
01:01:47And then I said and then I said to her and she said well nitro cold brew
01:01:51It kind of feels like a grumpy drink and I'm like, that's what she said
01:01:54Did she yes, if you were listening and I said no, he's wondering if you have it and she goes. Oh
01:02:03No, you were not I was clear for you wasn't it because you'd yapped the entire way down there about I really hope they have
01:02:09I really hope they have it. What if they don't have it? What if they have?
01:02:12Yes, but anyway, they had it and all was well, it was so nice. It was so nice
01:02:16But yeah, I thought she was just confused because she was waiting for the point of the story
01:02:22Which is I would like a nitro cold brew, please
01:02:25That's right, that's right and I don't we don't do McDonald's sorry
01:02:28We don't know we don't do a Starbucks very much
01:02:30But then I try cold brew is really something quite special literally cocaine it is
01:02:36You know that I looked up how much caffeine it has in it a lot. It's really not small
01:02:40No, the nitro does something to it and then you don't let me drink Celsius
01:02:43So so here's the thing so we have a little soda maker at home if I do that to my coffees
01:02:48I assume that the co2 will also enhance the caffeine and all will be like a new nitro
01:02:52I can do carbonated nitro cold brews at home. Okay you tree
01:02:57Okay, there was something really funny though. So my my co-worker and ice cream
01:03:01She's kind of in cafe training but not in the same amount that I am like I have some really long shifts later
01:03:06I mentioned earlier, but she'll go in like once every week or two, which is a terrible training thing
01:03:11Okay, I see there's some new hires coming in at the end of this month because most people are leaving for college
01:03:16But they have like five days in a row and then a few day break and then another five days in a row of training
01:03:21Because if it's two weeks apart, how the heck are you supposed to remember anything, right?
01:03:25Right teach me how to make this complicated drink with like ten different steps and then two weeks later
01:03:30They're like, oh, can you make the Spanish latte? I don't like guys. It's been two weeks
01:03:34I don't remember anything and this one girl wouldn't let me take notes
01:03:38Like no, no Spanish lattes easy just give them a latte and say oh
01:03:43Something like that, okay, that would be perfect. That's great. Oh, can you give me an actually voice, please?
01:03:49Actually, then it's carbonated not nitro grenade in nitro grenade
01:03:55Do you read there?
01:03:57Right, okay, that's probably better than grenade
01:04:00Actually, I think that's better than grenade
01:04:03Ash
01:04:05Latter-day Saint Christians don't drink hot drinks or cold versions of the same. Okay, is that another actually?
01:04:12Actually, well Jess is not actually a Latter-day Saint Christian
01:04:18Right form a day sent form a night Saint maybe with that. Oh, yeah. Anyways, this was the story
01:04:21So my co-worker goes to the cafe and they while she's in there
01:04:27She's waiting for food because we don't have breaks. So basically whenever it's not super busy get some fun of us will go
01:04:32Okay, you know what? I can take orders and scoop the ice cream
01:04:34Fortunately now we are I have she got a different co-worker or neck another co-worker after like a month by myself
01:04:39Which was not fun, but she's super nice as I said before but anyways, she um
01:04:45She was gonna go order for the both of us from the cafe. Yeah, um and
01:04:50She goes there and she's taking forever and she comes back with like a little one of those
01:04:55Shots like espresso shot little cups like the little ones. Yeah, and it's a little like a cardboard cup or whatever
01:05:01Yeah, you know what? I'm talking about. Yep, and
01:05:04She comes back and I'm like, oh, what's this? And she's like they made me make this I'm like, oh
01:05:12She's like what I have another little cup and I'm like, oh, is it not for a customer?
01:05:15Did you like mess it up and she's like no no
01:05:17No, like they just said make this and there's no customer who wants it, right? They're just showing me
01:05:22It's a double shot of espresso
01:05:24So obviously what we do is we split it into the two little shot cups
01:05:28If we clink it together say cheers and
01:05:32Absolutely disgusting actually foul. These things are like
01:05:36Molten like sulfur like you right right. But anyways, it was very funny
01:05:40Well, and I would say you see as a whole we may have slightly different
01:05:44Opinions about the joy that I bring to service workers. I
01:05:48Think it's I think it's huge joy
01:05:51They're actually scared of you. I
01:05:53Loom up and I bring joy to their lives
01:05:56We know people like you in the cafe
01:05:59but
01:06:01Don't don't focus on the question finish the story reading it. Okay. I'm sorry. You're telling me to finish Izzy. It's important to stay focused
01:06:15Free domain donate now accepts nitrogen text
01:06:18What kind of absolute psycho would pour their milk before their cereal look?
01:06:22I don't personally have a huge opinion about this one. Don't get me started on caramel versus caramel, but
01:06:29Laboratory versus laboratory. I don't care either. Okay, but no I for cereal
01:06:34I don't really have a question like a question about it
01:06:37I think people that pour the cereal before sorry that pour the milk before the cereal just do it to be different and trendy
01:06:43Because you get flutter so you don't even know if it's all cereal. It's just on the top
01:06:46Yeah, so like anyone who does that it's just doing it because it became a joke
01:06:50Okay, or they accidentally like they had a bunch of cereals to make and they're like I'm just gonna pour the milk in first or
01:06:55whatever
01:06:56Yeah, what's wrong with you? Why do you do that the refilling the cereal? No, just drink the milk
01:07:00Wait, wait, always milk first. So when you do live streams, you got to read the question
01:07:05Always milk first because I refill the cereal like six times. Okay, just drink the milk at the end because then you're hydrated
01:07:12You do that. What are you going? You do that? Do what you refill your cereal you know if there's extra milk. Yeah
01:07:19Okay, because I'm there to eat not to drink
01:07:24So
01:07:26See here. Oh, yes. Was there another question that I see? I just want to double-check over here any other last questions. Hi, Izzy
01:07:33I got a big question for you of out of all the things you most want to do in life
01:07:37What is the last thing you'd give up on?
01:07:40Family time. Oh gosh
01:07:42What is the last thing you'd give up? Honestly probably getting married and having kids
01:07:45I do kind of you know want to continue the bloodline, right, right
01:07:49And living in the country you farm ducks you like it a lot and I'd probably do it at some point in my life
01:07:55Yeah, but it's not like I'd much like to do it first
01:07:58But I I mean it really depends right but yeah
01:08:02I think I would give up on that if my life was somehow better in a different way. Right, right. Okay
01:08:07Yeah, but crazy sociopath. Yeah, I'd say honestly psychopath maybe like bipolar disorder. That's the kind of thing
01:08:14Yeah, nice
01:08:15All right, let's see if there are any other last questions over here
01:08:20Da da dun dun dun dun dun doodle-doo
01:08:25All right, Coles a see us without the history. Yeah, that may be a little specialized piece. Oh knowledge
01:08:32All right. Any other last questions for that is
01:08:36Wow, Stefan is here available in China without a VPA you in China. Get out
01:08:40Is Steph a good duck doctor or just a quack? Oh quack is a slang for a bad doctor
01:08:46No, he's a we've we've well you you've treated a couple of issues with ducks bumblefoot
01:08:51angel wing, okay, I
01:08:54Yeah, so
01:08:57Excellent hold on my bad Wi-Fi
01:09:01Okay
01:09:02so
01:09:03bumblefoot
01:09:04it's a thing basically when your ducks if they step on something sharp and they get like a sliver or a cut on their foot and
01:09:10Then it gets infected because they walk around in like a lot of I don't know
01:09:15Stuff like that, right? So
01:09:19Basically, it's called bumblefoot because their foot will swell up in the areas that are injured and
01:09:24There's a lot of places on the internet when I first looked it up. That's it
01:09:27Oh, yeah, you your duck would be but your duck will be dead in like two days
01:09:32So when we saw it, we kind of freaked out
01:09:34Well, yeah, I was like freaking out and I'm like, I will pay the extra 20 bucks on Amazon to get that thing shipped earlier
01:09:39Right like the medicine. She was literally completely fine
01:09:42The thing she was most bothered about was probably wearing that's like dumb shoe. We had this blue shoe for her
01:09:49Well, we didn't want him to keep getting infected, right? Yeah, so we took it out
01:09:52We took it off what she swam and she was so upset
01:09:54She was such a sweet duck. Her name was donut but like our favorite my favorite. Yeah
01:09:59Yeah, but I didn't care didn't know her name for the first year of her life
01:10:03I cared about her because every time I saw her I
01:10:07Got hungry
01:10:09Cuz doughnut you liked magpie because he was the only boy who also like no IQ just completely unrelated
01:10:15Okay, but magpies lack of intelligence has been more than compensated by Sonny's genius
01:10:21Brilliance. He's absolute. He is actually I'm not sure
01:10:25Understand how to walk upstairs
01:10:27He doesn't know we have like a little patio screen door in the back and we have some four stairs
01:10:32Yeah, there's short stairs. Like they're not like the big stairs. They're like like this but the steep
01:10:38Yeah, the steep he can't he doesn't think he doesn't know how to walk up them. No, he just kind of paces and
01:10:44Then he got stuck on top of a can like a container where I keep my like tadpoles
01:10:49He got stuck on it. He didn't know how to get down. Yeah jump
01:10:52It's like half a foot we open the door to the coop and the girls all come out
01:10:56No problem, and half the time he's just like panicking because he's doesn't know where the door is
01:11:02But he is very pretty. He's a stunning guy. He's very pretty this really creamy white
01:11:07It's like creamy white. It's not white white. Oh, yeah, like it's one feathers. Oh, he's huge, too
01:11:11Oh, yeah, he's like pick him up once because he couldn't get out of the coop. He's like 20 pounds. Yeah giant
01:11:17Absolutely. Lovely a beautiful duck a real himbo. So yes, I do know the scary scary duck story
01:11:24You were late
01:11:26You were late because you uh, you didn't know where the ducks went
01:11:31Who?
01:11:32Arlo the duck, honestly. Oh
01:11:36Arlo the duck. Oh very good. We have good reference to my novel the present available at freedom a.com select books
01:11:42I like those sponsors in the YouTube. No, I'm gay. Okay, hold on Arlo the duck. No, not Arlo his sister Penny
01:11:48Penny was originally Pablo because I thought it was a boy and I thought Pablo was hilarious
01:11:54We also had Rico and Pedro who are also girls and the only one we gave a feminine name was the boy
01:12:00They were all quite confused and that we did not get their pronouns very early on oh it takes a while with Muscovy's but
01:12:08okay, so the
01:12:10The female ducks penny. She's super sweet. Her real name's Penelope, but we just call her penny because it's easier, but she's genius
01:12:17So she's very smart
01:12:19I'm almost cutting up a watermelon earlier today and she does the one where she cuts up the rinds like she cuts it and then
01:12:24She takes the the flesh of the watermelon out and we were just left with the rinds
01:12:27At the bottom a bit of pink on the rinds and the ducks will usually get that to the ducks because they really like watermelon
01:12:33Yeah, like every duck we've had. It's just a love watermelon. So I go out and they have a little swimming area
01:12:39like a tiny tiny little pond and
01:12:42So I have two watermelon rinds and I put them in and they float but face down. So
01:12:48Piper
01:12:49Bandit and sunny are all trying to flip it over and like struggling with it
01:12:53Penny stands there and she's just chirping like at me like squeaking because she doesn't really chirp. She just has this weird little squeak
01:13:00and
01:13:02she
01:13:04She keeps chirping at me and then I move over there's like a little rock you can stand on
01:13:08I go to the rock because I'm like, what does she want?
01:13:11She pushes from like across the pond
01:13:14She pushes the watermelon to me for me to flip it over and hold it out for her to eat
01:13:19Amazing. Like I have never seen a duck. I didn't even know they were smart enough to do that
01:13:23I know if I know if a duck online who can like sit and knows its name and stuff like that
01:13:27But like I have like shocked and I'm like, maybe that was a mistake
01:13:31So I move it away and she does it again like I was shocked cuz like I knew she was smart
01:13:36I know the girls bandit and penny are smart. Yeah, but like dang that's smart
01:13:41She also has figured out how to open her coop door. So like the inside a little latch. That's just big enough for them
01:13:47Yeah, she can pull it open. Yeah, I like press pull it open with her be wild. She's like a parrot
01:13:52Okay, like she's smart, right?
01:13:55so
01:13:57yeah, it was um
01:13:59What there was another question? Oh, our ducks are geese more likely to violate the NAP. It's mostly gone this wrist
01:14:05I have can you still hang on hold it up? Cuz can people yeah, you can see a little bit of right a
01:14:10Bite mark and it's this was like two weeks ago. Sonny bites. He's mean
01:14:15Piper bites too, but penny and Vander sweet, but Piper bites everyone Piper bites the other girls
01:14:20I've seen Piper just attacking penny pennies like dead bottom in the pecking order. She's also attacked Sonny
01:14:25I think which is a strange Piper is the top of the pecking order despite being a small girl
01:14:29like tiny like this big but she
01:14:33Yeah, she bites and Sonny. Yeah your phone. Can you show a picture we can hold it up the camera. Hold on
01:14:39Can you there was another question? I think I'm sorry
01:14:42So our ducks or it depends if you're gonna include Canada geese Canada geese are
01:14:47Banded face Satan birds. I will literally be on a pathway
01:14:50Yeah, walk past them and I start getting hissed at and they bow their head at me and oh, yeah
01:14:57So what is Sonny's duck hood? Like maybe you should have Colin his childhood. It's nice
01:15:05Game of treats all the time. We sat with him. Okay here
01:15:11Can I hold that yeah, I'll just hold that up
01:15:13So this here is
01:15:15Top to bottom if you can go I can't talk. Okay, we're gonna go bottom to top bottom to top
01:15:21So Piper mean mean Piper next to her is bandit with the black head
01:15:25Then next to bandit is Sonny the absolutely giant duck. He's grown a lot since this picture
01:15:31Whereas the girls haven't and then in the very back you can just see him pass Sonny or her that's penny
01:15:36Right do the screens go? Yeah. No, can you get is there any other views?
01:15:39I can get a better picture of each of them. We can even do video if we want
01:15:44No
01:15:46Cobra chickens
01:15:47Bandit face Satan birds. Yeah, that was that quite quite a good turn of phrase
01:15:52here is
01:15:53Penny, I'm sorry a bandit. It's the black one pennies. Oh, sorry, Sonny. Oh my gosh. Sonny is the white one
01:15:59My brain is just not working right now. We do not eat ducks
01:16:02Look, I would definitely I'm not like one of those people who is opposed to eating animals. Wait, wait to the birds
01:16:08What do the birds up here what birds these
01:16:12Way to know did we finish with them? Oh, it's just the two right? Oh, sorry. I thought there was more than that
01:16:16No, okay
01:16:18I'll get the other two. Here are the other two. They're very similar looking but pet. Um, this is like a
01:16:25Two-headed bird. No, it's that the Japanese thing the yin-yang. Oh, yeah. Yeah. So the one closer to the camera whose back is facing us
01:16:32That's Piper. You can't see it very well, but penny has like a gray and black
01:16:37Back and she's the one facing away or not facing towards right with her chest, but okay
01:16:43Sorry, the question we also eat ducks. I don't I've never eaten duck
01:16:47It seems kind of like fatty and I'm not a huge fan of like super fatty foods
01:16:50I just find the taste like kind of gross, but I am NOT one of those people who's like, oh I have a duck
01:16:56No one can eat ducks. That's evil. Okay ducks are a good food
01:16:59I know some people really like the fatty like kind of meat that race for that, right?
01:17:03They were raised they used to be chickens basically
01:17:05I mean by that is they used to be like everyone would eat duck eggs and duck meat and stuff like that
01:17:09But then basically people were
01:17:11We're like, oh chickens are way easier to take care of they're way less messy
01:17:15So let's switch to chickens and they were actually called hook bill hook bill ducks and they're almost extinct now. But um,
01:17:21And sorry, can we just get one more actually?
01:17:25You know Korean, sorry. Sorry. No, but can you just give me an actually voice?
01:17:30Actually yin and yang is Korean
01:17:33All birds are angry. They resent the fall of the dinosaurs, but Greek geese are particularly resentful aggressively
01:17:40So yeah, although swans can be pretty aggressive too. I've never had too many issues with swans
01:17:45Well, but I mean, I guess they just don't mind me
01:17:49Bandit looks pretty good, but it's hard to beat a duck called penny bandits a very pretty duck
01:17:53She's got some iridescent feathers and Piper just has one
01:17:57Iridescent feather on her back and the rest of her back is like a creamy white. Yeah, this is penny or sorry
01:18:02This is Sonny. He's biting my camera
01:18:05It's a great picture, okay, do not be too alarmed but that is Sonny
01:18:11Right before is he used to have I don't know was it four or five other siblings? Yeah, and they all basically
01:18:20You you may remember that with the jaws theme
01:18:25The one like standing up whose body is in the picture I'm just zooming in a tiny bit, is that right? Yeah. Yeah
01:18:30That's penny that's the extremely intelligent duck we have and
01:18:35They're all Muscovy ducks. They're about two months old. Yeah two months. So they've grown crazy fast
01:18:41Yeah, I actually when I when we first got them
01:18:43I didn't think band didn't know that we're gonna be jump scares this stream because it's because of the biting thing, right?
01:18:48That's a cool pic. Yeah, we should make a t-shirt of that. Oh, I have so many of them
01:18:53They just he just absolutely attacks my camera. He hates it. Oh
01:18:57Oh, this is a cute one, hold on
01:19:00This is uh, these are oh, this is the only picture she has of ducks. Really? I have a way too many
01:19:05This is a cute one of penny. She's just looking at the camera. Sorry. How did you pronounce that?
01:19:11It doesn't just affect teenage boys no, I have my voice cracks aren't going away. It's been like two years
01:19:16Anyways, I'm gonna keep yapping about the ducks. But if you want to talk about anything else, I get this well, right, right, right
01:19:22I
01:19:24Know okay. Oh, I don't know. Are you ready for the jump scared? Bump? That's Piper
01:19:31Piper at the gates of dawn
01:19:34That's an old album from Pink Floyd. Okay
01:19:39Are you sent off a singing audition? Oh, you're sending it off. I'm sending it off
01:19:43I am auditioning for a play in my homeschooling group this year. How many ducks do you have for four?
01:19:49We were aiming for three. We promised mom three
01:19:54We went there and there was a miscommunication. She's like you said four right? And I'm like, oh
01:20:00And we said no three three. She's like, oh, well, I already separated them from their mother
01:20:04And I don't know which one should go back to who mother it is. I'm like, okay look fine an extra duck
01:20:09I didn't think a bandit was gonna make it when we first got her
01:20:12She was looking pretty rough just like head down not doing but I kind of just gave her put food in her mouth and she kind
01:20:17We
01:20:18It's funny because if we had not gotten one then we might not have the male because one male to three females is a good
01:20:25Ratio, right? Well, it's usually wonderful. Is it wonderful? Okay aggressive, but I don't think he's actually started mating yet, right?
01:20:31Or as we referred to it in the past, they're dancing. Yeah
01:20:36All right
01:20:38Any I'm just gonna ask any last
01:20:41Questions any other good photos, but I'm trying to find I have one of this epic frog
01:20:47This one
01:20:50Don't zoom it's perfect. Okay, I caught this giant frog. He's absolutely massive
01:20:56He was a little alarming. I named him Gorbo
01:20:59Should be Gorlock Gorlock. What?
01:21:03Little old lady
01:21:05I'm auditioning for Alice in Wonderland. I want to be the Queen of Hearts. I don't know if I'll get it
01:21:10Yeah, it's a musical. So
01:21:13Yay, sing it away
01:21:15All right
01:21:16Monologue, I think I'll do the something from Glass Menagerie
01:21:19Do a monologue don't do stuff in stereo mono is the way to go
01:21:23Actually, here's the thing the audio audition for the singing is supposed to be
01:21:2816 bars 30 seconds specifically. I got 49. I
01:21:33Mean when Izzy said 16 bars, I thought it was gonna be an audition for an Irish musical bit of drinking a lot
01:21:38I wish all right
01:21:40Do you plan to expand your poultry army army with chickens or quail I was think I honestly I love quail
01:21:48But there's so cute the little guys love quail. Yeah, but I can't say I love chickens. I think chickens are basically just sunny
01:21:54they're just kind of I
01:21:57Haven't seen a smart chicken. I'm sorry. That's fair. I haven't heard of a smart chicken
01:22:02That
01:22:05Frog looks like
01:22:06Jabba the Hutt's second cousin break a leg. So, you know, that's the right engine, you know where that comes from, right? Yes go
01:22:14before yeah, I
01:22:17Remember, but I actually
01:22:19Actually break a leg means I hope to see you in the cast
01:22:24Time to do with the cast right at least that's one theory. I don't think that's what it means. All right, let's see here
01:22:32Any last questions given once given twice
01:22:37Somebody had a question. I thought it was interesting, but it might be a bit complicated, but let's give it a try
01:22:42Steph Izzy I accepted a job
01:22:44But another company with a much higher salary came back with an offer any tips on how to handle it
01:22:49So hopefully I don't burn a bridge. I want to go to the higher salary. So he got a job at company a
01:22:54Company B offered him. So he said I'll take the job at company a and he's getting all prepared
01:22:59Company B comes along and gives him much more money. How does he extract himself from the first?
01:23:05You suck. Well personally, yeah, go ahead with your thoughts. I my brain is empty
01:23:11Brain is empty of this. It's a bit of an interesting question for me
01:23:14It wouldn't exactly be don't burn bridges, but you can just say look, you know
01:23:17I've got a better offer if you can match the price. I'd be happy to stay with you
01:23:22That's the answer. I have somebody who's willing to pay me a lot more for my time. Yeah, I apologize
01:23:27You seem like a nice company, but I do have to go with what's gonna be better for me, which is the money
01:23:31Yeah, like I you can just say look if we've been working here for years
01:23:34I'd probably try and negotiate with you about staying or getting more pay or whatever, but we've barely even started
01:23:40I don't have any relations with you again seem like a good workforce
01:23:43but I really have to go with the better pay unless you can match it or at least come close because there could be other
01:23:48Benefits like a better boss or more opportunities a couple hours. Yeah. No, no, let's not get crazy
01:23:54Or so it could be that they could be better it's a better job more opportunities for growth
01:23:59It could be a smaller company which gives you more opportunities to do different kinds of work could be a better boss
01:24:03So they may not have to match it, but they gotta say I gotta say look this place is offering me 30% more
01:24:09So either that means that they're overpaying or you're underpaying and I'm not sure what the answer is
01:24:13But you know all of that so I would say bring the offer to the original company and give them
01:24:20That that was the most professional speech I've ever heard. Yeah, well done
01:24:27I really appreciate it, but I might have to go to a
01:24:30You know a different workforce if you guys keep having me go into the garbage
01:24:35Yeah, no kidding. All right, so we've had another actually moment. Somebody's correcting us
01:24:39Actually, I thought break a leg was from the 1920s when they were all superstitious that they were fooling the bad luck demons
01:24:47So in the theater world, you're only allowed there's a play called Macbeth, which is a really really dark play I remember and
01:24:54set in Scotland, of course Macbeth and
01:24:59So you're never supposed to say the word Macbeth you have to refer to it as the Scottish play and if you do say the
01:25:04Word Macbeth you have to run around the theater three times to break the curse
01:25:07Okay, and Macbeth is a cursed play
01:25:10That's the one where I had a big sword fight with someone and I I swung my sword and it got stuck in the wall
01:25:16It got stuck in the wall
01:25:17so I ended up having to jump him and strangle him to death because I couldn't get my sword out from the wall and
01:25:22Then I I got stabbed and I was given a blood pack and it was supposed to gently ooze
01:25:27From my hands after I got stabbed because I playing with bath
01:25:30But what happened was I couldn't get it to break so I kept gripping and gripping into the point where it exploded
01:25:36Like like somebody
01:25:37Yeah, they put extra blood and he just made it too tough to break
01:25:41so it went and covered like the first three woes rose in fake blood and
01:25:47Unfortunately, it turned a little bit
01:25:49It little did to turn into a comedy, but there's really not much we can do with that
01:25:54So it is a bit of a cursed play to be honest
01:25:58I
01:25:59Phrase that isn't I thought not an actually actually phrasing doesn't matter for an actually moment. Yeah
01:26:05I'm sorry. I started this. No, I'm sorry. That's uh, you know, we're gonna have to actually now from from here to eternity
01:26:14Use the higher offer to negotiate duck maternal leave with company B
01:26:20Sorry, I got ducklings exactly sorry go ahead
01:26:26My life is over but what didn't we see a breakfast place egg cetera experience experience a unique experience
01:26:34That so it says all-day breakfast, but it closes at 2 p.m. There's like 20 different places. I was looking at today
01:26:40It's not all day. It's all morning. It is all day. It's just not at this time zone
01:26:46Somewhere out in the mid-atlantic
01:26:48Yep. Yep. Yep. There we go. All right going once going twice last questions. Yes. No, maybe
01:26:57I just you know if people are typing. Oh, we got typing if people are typing
01:27:02We can cut them off by ending the stream and make them type faster for next time. Oh, oh, oh, actually actually
01:27:10Okay, well I wasn't looking at Waffle House was I
01:27:15Actually have actually Waffle House has all-day breakfast did I did I say Waffle House I said
01:27:22Etc. Have you seen the mighty ducks cartoon? I have not. Oh, maybe I have I've heard of it
01:27:28It's always morning somewhere else actually
01:27:30That's the old drinking thing. Like it's five o'clock. So I'm American
01:27:33Yeah
01:27:34You Americans with your tacky Waffle House that I am aware has like graffiti everywhere in the bathrooms
01:27:41We're just a mysterious liquid everywhere
01:27:45Coaxually coaxually now actually interesting bit of free-to-main trivia Waffle House was one of the original proposed names that mom gave for this show
01:27:53Do you mean yapper yapper house waffle waffle waffle I hop we I think
01:28:00International house of pancakes I was I can't tell you how disappointed I was when I first went there
01:28:05You thought you just get pancakes everywhere, right? No, it's a house of pancakes should be made of pancakes. It should be made of pancakes
01:28:11I was willing to accept some reinforcement, but it should be mostly made of pancakes and you should actually eat the house
01:28:17Tacky the liquid makes it a mystery and there's free canvas for unpaid art
01:28:37Oh, I saw this great meme today, we're just gonna yeah for the rest of the show
01:28:41Yeah, we saw this great meme today. It was Pennywise
01:28:44looking at Ronald McDonald and
01:28:46Saying you're not even scary and it's like yes, but I've killed way more people than you have
01:28:52And I thought Pennywise would be a great name for a duck, but we just went with penny Penelope
01:28:57No, but penny Pennywise Pennywise the duck actually, but you'd make sunny. I think Pennywise
01:29:04USA USA
01:29:08What's that there's that Trump meme which is like I have the best resistance to coronavirus ever
01:29:14I mean they tested my blood. I don't even have DNA. I have USA. That was actually pretty funny
01:29:22Actually never feeding the mogwis after midnight, um, it's always after midnight Oh somewhere
01:29:27Yes, but I think it's in the time zone. Actually you spell actually incorrectly
01:29:33Actually now what is mogwis? I'm
01:29:37Gremlins wiki. Oh, yeah. Yeah gremlins. I
01:29:41Remember using the word gremlins in one of my plays and my writing teacher literally yelling at me
01:29:46The gremlins is now owned by whatever movie studio made it like you can't use that word
01:29:50it's owned by these guys and it's like bro, calm down, bro, like my
01:29:55Trainer being like you can't take notes. Oh, yeah at work. All right. Can I sing notes? Oh, all right
01:30:03That's what you should have said. It's easy. It's easy in hindsight. I should have you know, she's leaving at the end of the month
01:30:09Cigarettes
01:30:10It's like she's gonna come back, right?
01:30:13She will now I go from diplomatic in theory. Oh wait, so
01:30:18One of the one of the workers said you absolutely cannot take notes and the other worker was like, why didn't you take notes?
01:30:25Yeah, I'm dead serious. Yes, they told me I said, oh, can I take notes and she's like no
01:30:31Like that's that was her response. She's like you'll get it like girl
01:30:34You have a menu going across an entire wall like I'm not gonna get it. Yep. Sorry, like let me take notes
01:30:41She's just wait wait people's all the other girl says she has a superior already complex. Okay, I'm dead serious
01:30:48I can't speak to that
01:30:49But I will say that the one thing that homeschooling didn't touch on that. We really needed to touch on for you was
01:30:56How to turn on or off the hot water?
01:31:00Yeah, no that we should have gone over the diagrams and that was my first day in the cafe and I was freaking out
01:31:06Cuz I'm like these other girls learned pretty quickly. Do I just suck at this?
01:31:09There's I dropped my phone. Do I just suck at this or something? Like am I just turn off the hot water wasn't it?
01:31:13Well, it wasn't that but I was just having one of those days. I've just felt like wow
01:31:16I suck at this right, um, cuz she was just like no
01:31:20You don't even need to make notes like it's that simple and I knew like that was a little extreme and I'm like
01:31:24Maybe it's that simple. Maybe I'm just dumb right or what?
01:31:27I mean, I wasn't thinking like that, but you get what I'm saying? I'm not getting something obvious is what I'm thinking
01:31:32anyways, this girl was like this was a different one who's like best friends with the superiority complex girl and
01:31:38She was like, can you turn off the sink?
01:31:40Right, and I'm like, okay
01:31:42so I run back because she's doing something and making sandwiches and the other girls at the cash register, so I run back and I
01:31:48I'm moving the taps and nothing's changing. Yeah, like it gets a little better a little like a little stronger a little weaker. I'm like
01:31:55Okay, and I said to her I'm like this might be the dumbest thing you've ever heard
01:31:59but how do I turn off the sink and she's like
01:32:02Oh, and she's like there's a thing on there's a nozzle under the sink. I'm like under so
01:32:08Like a tiny thing trying to turn like a nozzle. She called. Okay. Yeah, like a lever
01:32:13Okay
01:32:13and I
01:32:14Opened the sink like the drawer underneath and behind a bunch of cheap cleaning supplies is a little like a thing that you turn like
01:32:21Hot too because it's been pumping out hot water. It's a really hard valve. Yeah. Well, she said nozzle but is evolved
01:32:27He knows the nozzle is the focus water. I know. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know what she's just yapping
01:32:32She's one of those people but
01:32:34Like then I turn it and the hot water goes off
01:32:38Why don't you tell me that I've never been in the cafe before I have a suspicion that your trainer didn't want you to take
01:32:44Notes because if you said something wrong if she said something wrong, you'd have notes to correct
01:32:50I think that's pretty true. I think that's it. But then my other co-worker was like, oh, yeah, you didn't take notes
01:32:54And I'm like, no, I wouldn't you take notes X told me not to or whatever
01:32:57Yeah, and she's like, oh here
01:32:59Let me write some stuff out for you and she actually literally grabs a piece of paper and like you say you make this you
01:33:02Say make this here's some general stuff. You got to clean it after every time you make it. It's like, okay, right, right
01:33:09Mad cheesiest we did answer your question. I'm so sorry that you weren't paying attention
01:33:14This is the one what would you what's the last thing you'd give up on a marriage and kids, right?
01:33:19I'm kidding. Yeah, if you didn't listen, I think that was the first he he might have gone to bed with mr. Portugal
01:33:26All right, let's see no the thing is they're not even dumb no, they're very smart
01:33:30I actually like these two this one girl that was training me. I genuinely think she's quite smart
01:33:34She just has zero empathy
01:33:35So some as M says that sounds like an accurate assessment shady people don't want to be held accountable and avoid records written or otherwise
01:33:42But the weird thing is and I actually noticed this when it was sunny. She does not cast a shadow
01:33:46What no shadow, oh she's just doesn't I think she's a figment of our collective imagination like she uh
01:33:53She's smart too. Yeah, they're all very smart. Yeah, sure. You know, I asked her a question or I make a joke
01:33:58She gets it like she like that like she's smart, right, but she's just rude
01:34:01Well, it reminds me of a story that I've told probably only 19 or 20 times on the show
01:34:07Let's make it 20 or 21. Shall we more with me? Sorry any more times with me? Oh
01:34:12Gosh no, did you you these guys get the the very much much filter do a three-hour show and then I'll come down and tell
01:34:20Us about it in ten minutes to get the whole gist of it across and I'm like, well, what were you doing down there?
01:34:24Then it's just a blur. What can I tell you? It's a big blur
01:34:28so
01:34:29When I would I've told you the story when I worked at a hardware store and it was my first week
01:34:33Oh, yeah, and I say to the guy like where are the Crescent wrenches? He's like aisle seven
01:34:37Why did you know that by now and I'm like cuz it's my first week and it's a big store
01:34:41There's you know 6,000 aisles and all of this kind of thing, right?
01:34:43I mean, it wasn't as big as like Home Depot, but it was bigger than the home heart where we normally go to. Yeah
01:34:49Anyway, so this guy was just annoying and superior. And so I think it was about 10 years later
01:34:54I happen to be back at the same hardware store and he was still working there. Yep
01:34:59All right
01:35:01Reflection in a mirror
01:35:02Quacktually at 23. What does that mean?
01:35:05What does that mean 23 coffees on the menu that I can't take notes for I don't know
01:35:11Um, you see create the recipe book for the cafe. Oh my gosh
01:35:14This gives me another thing so that this other girl the owner comes in and she's like, oh no, don't make notes
01:35:20Um, we have a recipe book for everything and I'm like, oh you do that's an instruction manual
01:35:24Anyways, I come back the next day
01:35:25She's like, I'll bring it tomorrow and I text him like hey, don't forget to bring a book and she's like, yeah
01:35:28Yeah, anyway, she doesn't bring the book. She I asked. Oh, did you bring the book?
01:35:31She's like, oh I forgot and then
01:35:34she uh, she comes in and
01:35:37She's it's the day after it's on the Saturday when I'm working ice cream and my co-worker comes in later, which is ridiculous
01:35:43Okay, it's really busy in the morning
01:35:44She comes in an evening when it gets slow and it's the same thing like we swap shifts
01:35:48So I get the seven hours she gets the five hour and then I get the five hours. She gets the seven hour
01:35:53It's like a swap, right? Yeah, but anyway, she comes in and the my owner comes in or my owner
01:35:59but the the boss comes in and
01:36:01She says oh, here's the book and it's a book on the history of coffee
01:36:06You say espresso in Italian and you know, this was made in
01:36:131874 this is the origin. This is who came up with it and there's drinks that we don't even sell at the cafe
01:36:19What is a ricotta or something like that? I don't even remember. We don't sell like what a ricotta. I don't even know
01:36:24Yeah, that's a kind of cheese, isn't it? I'm ricotta
01:36:28Ricotta, it's a kind of cheese. That sounds like a terracotta for mine. I don't even know if some are thing
01:36:32Anyways, I I waited to read it until my co-worker came in and we were just laughing our heads off over this cuz I'm like
01:36:39Oh, she brought in the book for the cafe things. I don't like here
01:36:41Why don't I read it out loud because it was slow. We had no customers like raining and I'm like, okay
01:36:47And I'm reading it and she's like it's like is this the introduction like no
01:36:51No, we skipped the introduction and she's like what and the actual name of the book is coffee. Actually. Sorry James
01:36:58Actually, do you mean a Riccardo a Riccardo is that a kind of coffee? Yeah, I think that's what it was
01:37:04A Riccardo Montalbano was a very famous. I had a guy who had to one-up everything I did writes faster
01:37:09Not enough detail and reports don't take so long and report that is kind of like the girl
01:37:14I have training me honestly, but that that's a horrible environment. Yeah
01:37:17I'm like so thankful she's leaving at the end of the month and there was a day in ice cream and it was so slow
01:37:21And I'm like, oh I can go train in the cafe
01:37:23But I saw this girl comes in and she's just like hey girly pop and that's what she says
01:37:28And I'm just like hey, it's just a phrase. Yeah, yeah girls use it. Oh, she's like 20, but like maybe grow up
01:37:34but um, she comes in and I'm like, hey and
01:37:38She just walks around and she's like, okay, and then she just leaves excellent
01:37:41So he was right 23 times you've told the story keep up now
01:37:45Normally, I don't take these kinds of corrections from listeners, but this one is totally accurate. We should have got that
01:37:5124
01:37:53No, because he said this before I told the story
01:37:56Yeah, that's fair. Sonny is named after Sonny Balwani Sonny Balwani. So Sonny Balwani boy
01:38:02There's a there's an obscure reference of Sonny Balwani Sonny cuz he's white like the Sun and he's reflecting
01:38:07No, Sonny, so his name real name was something else Sonny was his nickname
01:38:11He was an Indian guy who teamed up with Elizabeth Holmes to create that crazy company Theranos that pretended to be
01:38:18The single drop of blood could get you like 400 different diagnoses and all of that
01:38:22Can I say the price we have for milkshakes in the in the place I work at?
01:38:28But they won't know because it's Canadian dollars, okay do it in Bitcoin
01:38:35It's a Canadian dollars for a milkshake now, do you want to know what a milkshake is one scoop of ice cream?
01:38:41About half a cup or a cup of milk blended
01:38:45Do you know how much a single scoop of ice cream is 550
01:38:51That's insane, so this is an obscure joke a
01:38:55Ricardo coffee served in rich Corinthian leather, so
01:39:01No, so Ricardo Montalban was a very famous is a Cuban actor or Spanish actor or something like that and he was known for
01:39:08Doing the he did him a show called fantasy island
01:39:12Which is where people would go and get their fantasies fulfilled on some sort of island
01:39:16But it usually went wrong and he did an ad for a car
01:39:20Where he was like, this is in rich Corinthian leather and somebody made a parody of that
01:39:25I wish to be buried in this car, you know this kind of thing, right? So anyway, there's that
01:39:30There's that that's that
01:39:32Khan yes, that's right. He was in the Star Trek as well
01:39:36Which which he ripped his shirt off on a the Chrysler Cordova, yeah, that's right
01:39:43Warlocks cast no shadow according to the 1989 movie with Julian Sands
01:39:52I approve I've never seen the movie but Julian Sands. No, that's a first
01:39:59It hurts cuz it's true
01:40:02There was this movie like back in the 1800s when I was born like it was when I was a kid
01:40:07How old do you think I am you vampire?
01:40:10Anyways, um, it was really funny though. You're like every time I see you like, oh, yeah that happened in a movie
01:40:15I saw this I heard that you know, if this if this yapping was coming in my good ear
01:40:18I'd be really really offended there were two sequels to warlock. Yeah warlocks and warlocks
01:40:25It's actually a decent movie. Okay, so Julian Sands is he I'm afraid you're gonna get a little backstory
01:40:30I've heard of Julian Sands. It's that guy from undertale
01:40:34What's undertale? Don't worry. All right, so Julian Sands played George in room with a view
01:40:43Okay, the blonde guy like the main guy in room with a view
01:40:47Now Julian said is he just knows it is my favorite movie now
01:40:51Julian Sands also went on a hike last year in a snowy mountain and never came back
01:40:57I don't even found the body
01:40:59Has Izzy and her co-workers done the tick-tock style of go bus in a mini girl bus in a mini
01:41:05No, oh my gosh. Oh do it do it
01:41:10The tick-tock video of girl boss in a mini. I don't even remember that much
01:41:13It was I remember just someone was talking about like, I don't know
01:41:16Back when I was fighting in the Crusades. Oh, come on
01:41:20He must have been the Emperor that point like, you know around for generations upon Jim the Emperor
01:41:24What Emperor we talking about here exactly
01:41:27Okay, got it
01:41:30So girl boss in a mini do you remember there was a video went around in a circle and they each had a nickname for
01:41:35Themselves, right? What would yours be?
01:41:41Yeah, all right, well think about it de Pope
01:41:48That's nice
01:41:50Has Evie has Izzy ever referred to things as back in the 1900s I call that back with the dinosaurs
01:41:59Six emojis man, it's not that way. I don't even get some of these emojis
01:42:07So what is I don't stop these emojis are missing there's like just by the by okay
01:42:12Here's my tip to you
01:42:14If you want to look cool with the punk teens
01:42:17Don't use that many emojis if you do add like three fire emojis and that's all right
01:42:21So I think we should end the show
01:42:24With a brain rot test a brain rot test
01:42:29Locals has broken emojis
01:42:31Broken emojis be good name for a punk band. Anyway
01:42:35So we're gonna try a brain rot test
01:42:37Chat
01:42:40Chatty Izzy with the Rizzy chatty Izzy with the Rizzy. I'm not Rizzy. You have Riz
01:42:46Riz is flirting ability
01:42:48Some guy it's like oh, you're beautiful. I duck mom and an ice cream cone duck mom and an ice cream cone
01:42:54That's your Gen Z boss in a mini
01:42:57I don't want to be some duck mom it makes me sound like a fert feather babies
01:43:00Feather babies no cap for real for real
01:43:03No cap. No, it's lowercase. There's no capitalizing
01:43:06I'm spinning your fr fr fr fr fr for real for real
01:43:10Prefer the Julian Sands went missing like that. Yeah, I died
01:43:13I think a brown a brain rot test sounds bussin bussing my what is he? What is he trying to type there?
01:43:19I'm gonna hit the gritty over this one. Is he on the bus fire?
01:43:23All right, so phantom tax if you start with this one you ski. What is what is a phantom tax?
01:43:32What is a phantom tax I actually know this one now
01:43:37What is a phantom tax?
01:43:43I'm gonna get so down on the young person's lingo. My hair is gonna spring back into action
01:43:49That would take a lot was hoping to do girl boss in a mini at the free domain meetup as a man
01:43:55Even bad girl boss. Well, hey, we want to be we want to be inclusive. Yeah, but he twit. No, you're not even right
01:44:02Give beat the toilet. Isn't that supposed to be two words? Whatever
01:44:06The sounds of death are exquisite. Oh, I think that's that's you
01:44:11Don't know what that is, but it sounds kind of cap
01:44:13So a phantom tax is when you have food and other people take it. No, it's not. No, it's not
01:44:18No, I look this up keep getting it. Okay. Here's the thing. It came from fries on a book. Here's the thing
01:44:23All of these websites explaining. Oh, here's Jenny slang. Here's Gen Z slang
01:44:33Here's the thing they're all written by adults who have no idea what they're talking about
01:44:39No idea
01:44:40You read this to me and even me with my limited knowledge of Gen A you'll read stuff and I'll be like that's not even Gen
01:44:47Z that's millennial slang like sorry these adults who make the websites are just doing it for clicks
01:44:53No one has any idea what they're talking about
01:44:56When you take someone's food, it's named after some New York City youtuber, right? I believe that his name is phantom
01:45:02No, it's her. Okay. Her name is
01:45:05It's that but it's also a threat. I've heard it used many many times. Oh, I'm gonna take your fries
01:45:11Oh, it's like if you do this, you're gonna get phantom tax, but that has nothing to do with food
01:45:16Like we'll be at some amusement park or whatever. But if you take me on that ride, you're getting phantom tax
01:45:21It's a joke, but it's like
01:45:24Okay, like it's it's not that okay. Sometimes it started as food, but now it's just anything
01:45:30Anything bad you're gonna get but the origin story the law
01:45:33I don't care back rock Gen A their war is retarded
01:45:37Why is it is it just called brain rot and I it's asking you about this at lunch actively hates Gen A
01:45:42Really? I've never heard of a good Gen A kid. I'm dead serious. And it's 13 minus right 12 under 12 and 11 and 12
01:45:49I know that I have a friend who's 11 who's like I thought he still has the squeaky voice, but he's like really
01:45:56Are you gonna really criticize?
01:45:58It's bad bad. Like he's like
01:46:12So a Rizzler is a twist candy made of licorice, right
01:46:17a
01:46:18Rizzler, I think that's right and it comes in red and it comes in black and it leaves an aftertaste
01:46:23It's basically like a bird took a dump on your tongue. Is it something like that? Do I have I think I have that correct?
01:46:28Federal Reserve printing is a phantom tax
01:46:32No, it's like the
01:46:35Rizzler means you're like good at flirting and you have high charisma
01:46:38Zinf now remembers in for some military guys, so we can't insult him. We only save that for the Portuguese guy
01:46:44If you do this I'm gonna steal from you
01:46:46Is that what that means kind of but phantom tax just kind of generally means something bad's gonna happen to you to my knowledge
01:46:51Look, I'm not I refuse. I'm with you. I'm with you. I hate it. I hate it. And then my dad's always like
01:47:00Whoa, what the heck did you break it? I don't know what happened there. Sorry for everyone's ears
01:47:07The Rizzler is Batman's nemesis. Yeah, I think that's right, isn't it? I think that's right
01:47:13Riddler comes from Rizz, which is short for charisma. No, but it means flirting specifically
01:47:19Asked an eight-year-old about this. Okay, they would know so it's means flirting. What would eight-year-old know about flirting?
01:47:24Okay, the things these eight-year-olds are saying you guys are like
01:47:32They have more flavors like grape and orange actually has multiple flavors what's wrong with you guys
01:47:38It's didn't really have nothing. Don't you have that other one?
01:47:41Like what Oh Twizzlers, okay, I'm gonna need a website bow mega 22. I'm gonna need a website reference for that
01:47:52Done done already
01:47:56That question there over on man public schools are so far gone. Yeah

01:48:23Sev what does that mean? I don't even know wait, is that slang? No safe slang not for me
01:48:30I
01:48:31Know you mean you had a blue Ritzler because you're so skippity
01:48:34I think I'm gonna drink prime for like a week straight while listening to lo-fi so I can understand this new slang
01:48:40Lo-fi is not even gen a jewel flies like older Gen Z. What is prime?
01:48:46Okay, I'm looking this one up and Paul drink. That's it. Yeah, he made it and we sell it at the cafe
01:48:52I work at and no one wants it. Oh
01:48:55Okay
01:48:57Coconut water is coming out. I once had a blue Twizzler. Yeah, that's actually evil and I think you dreamt it
01:49:02What would that for the flavor be blueberry? No, that's horrible and just be blue
01:49:08Okay, it's not tasty it's horrible it's like puke water
01:49:12Well, what's the other ones we were looking at? No, we're not we didn't look at any bye guys
01:49:16Great street click and end. All right. All right. Okay, but no the brain rot stuff is very very interesting. It's dangerous
01:49:24I think it's made with uranium
01:49:27Kidding I'm kidding. It's not all right. All right. It's a nasty Gen Z electrolyte beverage
01:49:35right
01:49:37Excellent excellent. All right. I'm gonna look up blue Twizzler blue Rizzler. No

01:50:20I'm afraid she's banished now from Candyland. Oh
01:50:24So it really wasn't that I went to the wrong website. It's that you were thinking of the wrong thing
01:50:29interesting
01:50:31Interesting. Yeah
01:50:33Actually, what do you mean? Actually you got it completely wrong. Surely it's important to be mature and admit fault when it happens
01:50:39All right. Wow, that's interesting blue juicy licorice
01:50:43Should you just have that whenever I'm doing a show just have that juicy licorice. All right
01:50:50Prime is sucralose. Yes
01:50:54All right, let's close up here 80s redux
01:51:00I don't get you remember all those people, right?
01:51:03Well, that's Logan Paul. That's
01:51:05No, that's Mike Tyson the boxer same thing. I don't know. Oh, this was a Nintendo game from back in the day
01:51:13Wow
01:51:16So you see this was considered hi-fi graphics back in the day
01:51:20If you've seen that one, it's the Chad guy
01:51:23The giga Chad pixelated giga Chad for the people who like 90s games. Yes. I don't like graphics nowadays. It's like not fun
01:51:32To me if the lights don't dim with my game graphics card when I'm playing it, right
01:51:38All right, any other last questions comments issues
01:51:41Thank you Izzy for a great fun live stream and thank you everybody for dropping by tonight
01:51:45I'm just gonna check over here. We did all of that
01:51:48Yeah, we're doing this again though because we started talking about slaying
01:51:52Slaying slaying. No. Oh, what was I talking about killing something the other day and you said I'm gonna kill this
01:51:59All right, right. I'm like what? Yeah, and this is sorry. I'm gonna slay this slay
01:52:05Yeah, a great show I had a great time personally, well, thank you we don't want you to have a bad time
01:52:10I'm kidding
01:52:15Vindicated on the blue Twizzler. Listen, if I get one thing right with my daughter every week, it's a beautiful week
01:52:21It's a beautiful week. Oh, yeah, what was he?
01:52:23We were gonna go to a cafe today or a bread place and I was like, I'll get my coffee there
01:52:27And what was the immediate statement? I said where I like the bread place. Oh bread box. You're like, yeah
01:52:33I said I will bet you ten bucks. They don't have coffee there
01:52:37Immediately like it's not Oh father. Perhaps. You're not quite correct. It's like how can I profit from this?
01:52:43Anyway
01:52:45No, I said coffee not nitro cold blue
01:52:49I'm still waiting for my ice cream. I gave you a tip. I promise I will send it to you on Amazon
01:52:55It will be a little melted and oh, you see they're missing something never did hear Steph talk about the skibbity toilet
01:53:01No, don't know what we did see was a picture of a bunch of frogs in a toilet called
01:53:06Rivety, I wish it was that instead cuz I would just be funny
01:53:09But it's like these freaking like toilet heads and like no one cares. Good night. We'll donate on the website. Thank you
01:53:14I really appreciate that bow mega Chris great Wednesday evening theme stream. Thanks Izzy
01:53:19I think basically considering we're ending the stream at 9. We're basically the Puerto Rican grandmas
01:53:24With diapers. Why aren't we going till 4 a.m? We have the club
01:53:29Do you know if there's a youtuber can you James or anyone can you look this up? There's a youtuber
01:53:34I think it was just over the last week
01:53:36Tried to set the record for the longest live stream. Did you read about this pretty often?
01:53:41Just crazy, right? Why would you do that?
01:53:44Well, I suppose he's hoping to make some money and one woman wrote and I don't know how true this is
01:53:49She tried to stay up for a long period of time. I think a couple of days or something or longer and
01:53:55Her doctor said it's gonna take about two years of
01:53:59Good sleep to make up for the damage you did to your brain by staying up this long. Yeah. No, I've heard
01:54:04It's really bad for you to stay up so bad a night or two is okay, but any longer than that
01:54:09It's very bad for you very bad for you. And she said that she still has sleep issues years later after doing that will happen
01:54:16Yeah, I
01:54:19Think the biggest barrier to accomplishing that is modern internet uptime
01:54:23I'm not sure what that means, but I like the
01:54:25sleeping
01:54:28Internet can be kind of like bad for you because I will sometimes do this or I don't do it anymore because like
01:54:34596
01:54:35Hours. Yeah, that's the guy this guy on the end. The online guy was going for the record
01:54:40But apparently he didn't even get halfway there
01:54:41I don't know if I but see there it's about 5% of the population can function perfectly well on five hours of sleep
01:54:48Yeah, but it's very rare
01:54:50I think Trump's one of those guys Bill Clinton was one of those guys and
01:54:54I thought I was for a bit when I was younger
01:54:55I was like, okay with it, but now I kind of I need like seven or eight hours. Yeah me too
01:54:59I've done a few 24 hours. I couldn't imagine more than that. Yeah, I did two all nighters you did
01:55:05One where I was up again to like for the next night, but then I like I definitely haven't done two full days
01:55:10I remember being worried about when we were leaving New Zealand
01:55:13Do you remember and we were concerned and it was just beautiful sleep on the plane?
01:55:16Oh
01:55:18New Zealand fairly evil place to begin with but when you combine that with the airplane made out of Minecraft evil
01:55:26Concrete blocks think it was genuinely made out of bones. That was the worst airplane seat that I've ever been on
01:55:33It's like being trapped in in like mammoth dinosaur bones going up your rear
01:55:38Upgraded seat to like we didn't have the like the super premium, but no we were supposed to have slightly better seats
01:55:43It was like just above business class
01:55:44Yeah, like two below the super because it was just at the front like where they had the bathrooms
01:55:49I think yeah, or not at the very front but like where they had the bathroom separating you from like the super premium
01:55:54So we had a little extra legroom and it was still horrible
01:55:57Oh, I was really the worst flight the going to Brazil was pretty bad
01:56:00But coming back from New Zealand and it was like I don't know 17 hours or something like that
01:56:04It was just going to Australia was a lot of fun. Yeah, Australia was great. It was really really nice
01:56:10I go into it, but it was oh his dad managed four hours died of 57. Yeah. Yeah
01:56:18Yeah, it's a sleep is really really important for testosterone production for memory formation for general mental health
01:56:24It's really really good. And you know the three-two-one rule. I think it goes something like
01:56:29Do not
01:56:31Eat three hours before to not drink liquids two hours before no screens an hour before that's silly
01:56:36I will literally be up at night. I wake up at night because I'm thirsty
01:56:40I went through this in the first 20 minutes of the stream. Yes, you are basically a camel that never runs out of water
01:56:47Yeah, no, like I will get up at one and I'll just really be like my throats dry. I can't sleep my throat hurt
01:56:52I drink so much water and it never used to be like this
01:56:54It's just I got a water bottle
01:56:55Yeah
01:56:56and I started drinking a lot of water because of it and then now my body just needs that water to function and I know
01:57:01If I didn't drink it a lot for a couple days, it would just be like, okay
01:57:04Well, I guess we're gonna drink less water now
01:57:05Yeah, but cuz I've done that before I didn't I had didn't have my water bottle for a couple days
01:57:09I lost it and I was just fine with like the regular amount of water
01:57:12But now that I have a lot of it, I just drink a ton of it. I wake up to check crypto prices
01:57:19Man, oh my gosh
01:57:21Don't do it
01:57:23somebody says
01:57:25I owe James says I'm not ever been able to sleep on a plane maybe but the full recline
01:57:29I can't sleep on planes really I just can't I can maybe pass out no screen an hour before bed
01:57:33It sounds like a hero's challenge. Well, you can get on Android you can get these screen dimmers
01:57:38I use them sometimes if I'm reading on Android and the screen dimmers take it. Yeah, they take it all the way down
01:57:47Cuz then my eyes are like, oh
01:57:49The worst thing is I used to watch sometimes shows before bed and you know, it's like some nighttime show
01:57:55So you turn up the brightness and then it's like I've never done that and then what happens because you need to see
01:58:01At nighttime and then what happens is it suddenly switches to like daylight and it's like being beamed out of a horror movie into like
01:58:08bright sunlight just
01:58:13Which means don't eat two hours before bed drink a lot of water and do a lot of screens right let's go into bed
01:58:20I'm like a four minus one minus tube
01:58:23What you see screens two hours after you go to sleep an hour after you go to sleep. Yeah. No, I mean water
01:58:27So I have no water. Yeah
01:58:30What a watermelon flavoring Stevie it works for me. All right, I use nightshift mode to the max
01:58:36I think that's no blue no blue screen or something like that where you have night mode on your tablet. Yes
01:58:42Yeah, yeah all you precious people. I need my night mode on my expensive computer. Well, she dreams of screens
01:58:49No, I don't actually I don't think I've ever had a dream with I have had a few but it's like very rare very light
01:58:54There's I'll have some dreams of texting and stuff like that
01:58:57That but there's a funny question which is where you screens a lot but nobody ever dreams about them
01:59:01I've had some dreams with them. Yeah, but it's not common
01:59:04I think it's because dreams are more like a primal kind of thing. Mm-hmm
01:59:08It doesn't filter down
01:59:09I guess you've been on like I've been on airplanes and cars and trains and dreams you dream of those right primal. So, I don't know
01:59:15Easy before bed causes acid reflux
01:59:19Actually, sorry
01:59:22Magnesium I think has helped my sleep quality tremendously
01:59:24I've been having all kinds of crazy dreams over the last couple of months since I started right, right?
01:59:28Oh fun. I used to dream of typing in the chat during streams
01:59:32Bro, nice. No, no. Hey, hey. Hey, no taking a break Friday evenings. Usually you like go have a life. No
01:59:41Stay and do all of these absolutely wonderful things
01:59:44I wouldn't have a show I could never run a channel cuz I'm big
01:59:47What are you doing sitting your computer watching me get up go do something get to work you lazy not getting
01:59:55Windows updating at 2 a.m. Always puts me in the negative
01:59:59What does that mean?
02:00:01Oh, okay. Okay, or maybe it it reboots and gives them some screen sound I
02:00:07Heard you don't feel pain in dreams either. Huh? I do you know what you're gonna dream about tonight
02:00:13That's gonna cause you to feel pain. This is Jenny's leg
02:00:17Freedom ain't his life. That's right. Philosophy is life and freedom ain't his philosophy
02:00:22Therefore logically still logistically freedom ain't his life pain in dreams before I can't taste very much sometimes
02:00:29You know, it's weird
02:00:29I used to not but recently I've noticed I can not recently maybe in the last year or two couple years
02:00:34I've been feeling pain and been able to taste in dreams you taste
02:00:38So it's like baby, but it's like the essence of it
02:00:41Like, you know how you can smell something in a dream usually like if it smells bad, it's like that
02:00:44It's like smelling almost when you eat. The worst thing is dreaming of a great new book. I'm excited to read you can't read in dreams
02:00:50I guess those times you can't most times maybe big ads or something, right if it's something you've seen
02:00:57before or what is it if it's something like oh
02:00:59My gosh when I try to say sorry if it's something like I've read the text before
02:01:04I get a type saying like hair be calling tonight or something like that and then in the dream if I'm kind of dreaming about
02:01:10My life I can see the same text
02:01:12But I almost never generate new ones that actually makes sense in my head, which is funny
02:01:17It's like any AI trying to generate words or like draw hands or whatever. Isn't that funny? Like yes, I
02:01:22Dreamed very lucidly last night. It was great. I've tried so I thought you used to be able to do that more
02:01:27No, but like I knew I was dreaming but I could never control it. I have done I was a couple months ago
02:01:33I really tried to get into lucid dreaming. I was doing all the reality checks and like doing the way back to bed
02:01:38It's a whole thing. It's a whole thing. It's a huge thing. Yeah, but
02:01:43Yeah, I was I try it I got it like twice and it was like super vague
02:01:49So whenever I tried to do anything, I started waking up. Sorry
02:01:52But how did you know you were lucid because you knew you were dreaming in the dream?
02:01:55No, like I'm in a dream and I was walking down a street. It was like this kind of you too
02:01:59Not utopia, but it was like I want to say I was like imagine Bioshock, but above ground with like plants
02:02:04Okay in the Sun
02:02:05It's something like that
02:02:06I remember walking down and being like I'm dreaming and I have a lot in dreams or I like jump and just keep jumping
02:02:13No gravity kind of but like slow gravity. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You're completely fine
02:02:18Yeah
02:02:18I tried to do that and I wanted to like what if I can just fly because that's like everyone says a simple way of
02:02:24Starting to dream because almost everyone has dreams of it before is in lucid dreams to fly when you're still getting used to it
02:02:29So I thought I'll do that and I just felt myself waking up like it got like kind of dark and it was like
02:02:35So I stopped and the dream and that was later in that dream and then another time but those the only times I've actually had
02:02:40it like intentionally, huh, I
02:02:43Some reason dreamed that I was the drummer for Sting's old band called the police and we were doing a concert and I was like
02:02:50I think I can do this
02:02:51I think I can do this and I was like
02:02:52But I don't actually know the lyrics to the songs and I had to get Alex Jones to print them out and came out like gas
02:02:57Station receipts. I mean, is that wild?
02:03:00No, I'm undoing this. It's my dream. Anyway, yeah, I've had that before. I had that one dream. I was like really scared
02:03:06I want to say it was almost a nightmare, but not really. I was just like literally why am I scared?
02:03:11Like it's because it's a dream, right? Right. Really? None of this is happening
02:03:14I had that a ton when I was younger right like maybe 12 to 4 12 to 13 or maybe I want to say
02:03:1911 to 14 I had that a ton and then in the last year it stopped a lot
02:03:24So I think if I tried to do lucid dreaming back then it would have been a lot easier
02:03:27But now I almost never know what I'm dreaming
02:03:30Have you are you still trying to do the lucid dreaming?
02:03:33No
02:03:33I stopped a bit cuz it just I did like a month and I didn't get anywhere and it was when I stopped doing it that
02:03:37I actually had the lucid dream. I was like, excuse me, right, right
02:03:41Ah
02:03:42The jumping things in dreams just jumping over the utility poles and soaring over town. Yeah. Yeah, I've I used to have it
02:03:48I used to have it where you know, you get chased by the monsters and you're trying to run away
02:03:52But because every time you run you float up you can't get any traction so they get closer. Oh, that was not fun for me
02:03:58No, I don't like those ones. But like I get what you're saying
02:04:00I've had I've had feathered wings once which is what I thought were super cool. They were like gray
02:04:05The news show where you were interviewed in New Zealand three news the worst of the two is gone now
02:04:10It couldn't sell adverts. Apparently a lot of people fired seems appropriate. I don't think that was my
02:04:15I don't think it was my six years ago. Can't believe that six years ago. We were in New Zealand, right? Holy crap
02:04:19Yeah, I was nine
02:04:21Imagine I have had dreams where I am eating a giant marshmallow. And the last time I had that I woke up my pillow was gone
02:04:31That's very much my
02:04:33Experience. No, I have had it where I'm having a tough time breathing in the dream
02:04:38And then I wake up and I like face down in my pillow. That's weird. I
02:04:42Had it once where I had. Oh my gosh. What was it? I
02:04:47Felt in my dream. There was a snake slithering on my leg and I was like, oh, that's cool
02:04:51So I picked it up, but it felt like it was still slithering and I woke up and this was I had a bug on my leg
02:04:58Yes, that's right
02:05:00completely freaked out
02:05:02Because it was I woke up because I knew something this was one of the times I knew I was dreaming
02:05:06Okay, this is weird. So I wake up like I just opened my eyes and it takes an effort
02:05:09But you can't open your eyes if you know, I I felt you make yourself awake
02:05:13Yeah, you make yourself come awake, right?
02:05:15Well, it's basically like if I was ever realized I was dreaming and I didn't like the dream or the scared or something
02:05:20Yeah, yeah, I would just like your eyes are shut and you really have to work
02:05:24So like it's a whole facial movement to open them. Yeah, and you can usually get out of it
02:05:27Yeah, I can usually get out. I don't have bad dreams very often
02:05:30Maybe once every couple of months
02:05:32But I do have it where I'm it's like coming up from the depth like with bubbles and and churning like I just make myself
02:05:38Wake up. Yeah, it's kind of like that. You just have to try but anyways, I still felt it on my leg
02:05:43So I switched the light on it was a bug
02:05:45I hated that and then you woke up again and again and you were a bug
02:05:49Sometimes I've never had this but I know it's a pretty common thing if you wake up during a REM cycle where you're having a really
02:05:55Strong dream. Yeah, sometimes you will just be put in sleep paralysis
02:05:59Like
02:06:00So that's why it's always like 50-50 for me because I don't want that but I know it happens
02:06:04I don't I've never had sleep paralysis. I've never had sleepwalking
02:06:07I've never had anything like that, but I know some people who do or like like that guy. They said my sleep paralysis demon and
02:06:15That remember the guy who did the head rotation it at the light-up suit
02:06:18Oh, I remember that. Yeah, and what was the song from Greece, right?
02:06:25Hopelessly devoted to you that one right and he was very funny and then it's like hey when my sleep paralysis demon comes to sing
02:06:33Me a song or something like that
02:06:35I've never had sleep paralysis, but I think it's completely terrifying. Yeah, cuz you can just I just shut my eyes
02:06:40Yeah, I've had a few times as I'm going to sleep if I open my eyes and this was when I was younger again
02:06:45I think I was like had more in touch with fantasy when I was younger
02:06:48So I would have more stuff like this if you know what I mean
02:06:51but um, I
02:06:54would have like
02:06:55As I was going to sleep if I opened my eyes, I would see stuff in the room
02:07:00I thought if I blinked a few times it would go away. I mean like stuff floating or I was like no
02:07:04What the heck what is this and it was cuz I was like on the edge of sleep and I opened my eyes
02:07:08No, right, right. So that's why I got so scared
02:07:10I'm like I like had to pick I'm gonna commit and like I'm never opening my eyes again until I actually sleep because I got
02:07:17Do you do this thing and I remember when I was about your age when I was learning how to do
02:07:22Skateboarding that I would sort of half dream about skateboarding
02:07:25Yeah, and then you do jerk yourself awake when you when I knew I was getting higher
02:07:29I had that every night until I started working and what did you doing ice cream and just messing up? Oh, really?
02:07:35Oh, your body's like preparing you for the worst case, right?
02:07:37I get a cherry and I like I literally slip
02:07:39oh, I had one of those actually come true last time I was at work and
02:07:42I so this cash register doesn't work. So we keep it open a little bit
02:07:46Yeah, because otherwise it takes a long time to go under and get the whole mechanical thing
02:07:50Um for those of you who were earlier in the stream, you know
02:07:53But for those of you who don't it was accidentally thrown out and I had to go get it
02:07:55So it doesn't work anymore. But I sleeves I was wearing like a baggy t-shirt my sleeve caught on the edge of it
02:08:03Entire thing fell over my I was by myself in there because in there by myself huge lineup money all
02:08:11Over the floor. Oh wow. I put that we have these little boards up. I'm like, I'll be right with you
02:08:15So I put the boards up on each window so people couldn't come in. Yeah, you never know
02:08:19there's some catchy pretty sketchy people there sometimes right and
02:08:24Freaking out but like it was I want to say my hands were kind of jittery
02:08:27Cuz this was earlier in the day when I had the shot with my co-workers
02:08:31So the caffeine it doesn't have much effect
02:08:33But I just noticed my hands sometimes get jittery
02:08:35Right, and I was also anxious cuz I'm like there's a ton of people and they weren't the most upright looking people either just
02:08:42And there's like money all over so I'm just grabbing it and I can't get it cuz my hands right, right
02:08:47Oh my gosh, horrible. That is funny finding change on the floor the rest of the day. Like it was ridiculous
02:08:54So I'm trying to because I don't really understand the sleep paralysis stuff. So let me just so people are saying you can't sleep
02:09:00Paralysis is terrifying always happens when dreaming of something scary. Yeah, it's never positive
02:09:05No, but what is it?
02:09:06But what does sleep paralysis speed so ability to move scream call for help despite being desperately wanting to but that's a dream
02:09:11Anyway, no to my knowledge is it's when you wake up so you can look around and see your room
02:09:16But you can't move because sometimes when you can't look around or can't move you can look with your eyes
02:09:22Sometimes but your body's stuck completely frozen. You can't move it. Like okay, I broke my wrist
02:09:28I mentioned this before my thumb doesn't straighten I can go like this. It won't stay up
02:09:33Right, it's like that like when I first did it and my thumb just wouldn't move like yeah
02:09:39Like that. Yeah, that's that's how it felt
02:09:41I my guess because you just you're trying to move your hand or your leg or your arm, but you can't so basically
02:09:47Your brain is still in a dream state, right? But you're also awake
02:09:52So it's like hallucinating. So you're hallucinating, you know, you are awake. Are you hallucinating the dream in the in your room?
02:10:01So it's almost always a nightmare. So you'll see figures in your room and people and physically can't move, right?
02:10:06Yeah, so it's kind of like that. But sometimes sometimes you hallucinate sometimes you're just there, but it's basically you're dreaming
02:10:13So the part of your brain that produces dreams is still going while you're awake
02:10:17Since I feel like my entire body is vibrating. I haven't hallucinated anything. Although I think in my dream sometimes
02:10:24There was some terrifying component
02:10:26I just feel overwhelmed by a sense of dread and I'll try calling out for help unable to get the words out and break myself
02:10:30out
02:10:32Wow
02:10:34There's a pretty common thing that people see this one guy called the hat man, which is just a guy with a hat
02:10:43I've also see paralysis related to child abuse. I've not experienced it. I'm not
02:10:48No, I'm just saying this is what I've heard. I've never experienced sleep paralysis
02:10:52No, I've had some lucid dreams and I sometimes know when I'm dreaming and I obviously have nightmares everyone does but
02:10:58I've never had sleep paralysis
02:11:00For me sleep paralysis was fun. I knew I was dreaming something
02:11:03We could not move or break out of it, but a lot of dreams you it's only at the end of a dream like that
02:11:08My like my scary dreams
02:11:10They have a kind of plot or a story where things are getting worse and worse and then the very end I can make myself
02:11:15Wake up, right, right. So
02:11:18So if you oh, you know, you're dreaming but you can't move or break out of it. Okay, so that's the difference at the end
02:11:23I know that I'm dreaming I can make myself wake up
02:11:25So he says you're conscious about your in real life surroundings
02:11:29But you are completely immobile and still dreaming of the fact what I mean like you're awake, but your dream brain is still going
02:11:35So if you're being chased by I don't know some figure then you wake up
02:11:39The figures in the room that you can see and you can't move or wake up again. Yeah, that's pretty much. That's crazy
02:11:45Sorry crazy. That sounds bad. I mean, I don't mean you're crazy. I just mean it's bad, right? Yeah. Yeah, I
02:11:50I
02:11:51Think it's associated with waking up during REM sleep body can't move despite efforts. That's what you were saying, right?
02:11:57Again, I'm not certain but this is what I've heard before. I think it's a little different for almost everyone but
02:12:02It's a common source for stories about ghosts and alien abductions. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, people will have kind of a dream like oh
02:12:07I've been abducted or whatever and that kind of thing
02:12:09Your body is shut down while asleep to prevent injury your conscious mind alert, but muscles still shut down
02:12:13well, yeah, so of course if you're running in your dreams, there's a kind of a
02:12:18Drug that goes through your body to make sure that your limbs don't move while you're sleeping
02:12:21You have when you first fall asleep, so then when you don't it's because oh that hasn't happened yet
02:12:26It hasn't happened yet. See I'm sure everyone's had this I'm sure all right, but I see memes about it a lot and to my knowledge
02:12:31It's if you're first falling asleep and your brain's kind of starting to dream a little bit
02:12:36Yeah, and sometimes you'll hear scenarios or hear voices or smell stuff or whatever, right? Yeah
02:12:40Um, that's not actually there because you're starting to dream and then you jolt
02:12:44Um
02:12:45Usually it'll be because you're trying to stand up in your dream and your legs go or you're trying to stumble or something
02:12:50You're trying to reach out to grab something in your arms go, right?
02:12:52Um because your body hasn't kicked in yet and hasn't separated from real life and like in dream
02:12:57It hasn't put the drug in that keeps your limbs still or whatever
02:12:59I really like that because even when you're half asleep, you can still move sometimes
02:13:02But I think that is I'm not not sleep paralysis
02:13:06But it has a little similarity to it
02:13:08Is that your waking dream and your dream brain are going you're waking brain and your dream brain are kind of going
02:13:13At the same time, which is so your brain wakes up, but your body's still kind of paralyzed from there. Not exactly
02:13:18No, that's sleep paralysis. Okay for this one when you just kind of jump to sleep
02:13:21Yeah, you're not paralyzed yet because your dream brain hasn't got it hasn't started really going yet
02:13:25Okay, but you'll still kind of see stuff because you're half dreaming and that's why you don't awake sometimes
02:13:29Okay, like your whole body moves. That's what I've heard again. Don't trust me on any of this, but that's what I've heard
02:13:35so he says here I
02:13:37Know I'm lying in my bed, but I'm dreaming that a demon is reaching out to grab me and I can't do anything about it
02:13:42Oh interesting. I think that the only way to save yourself from that is free domain.com slash donate
02:13:48I think if you
02:13:52Says almost caught between dreaming and waking but no ability to affect it either way. Oh, that would be scary
02:13:59Ever listened to coast to coast a.m. With Art Bell and later George Norrie overnight radio show call in weird stuff aliens
02:14:06Nde's I don't know what that is ghosts
02:14:08Aliens again to aliens monstrous shadow people. Yeah, I
02:14:14Get that jerk awake thing and I usually end up feeling like I'm falling and I kick my leg or swing my arms
02:14:18Take a while to get back. That's what I'm talking about James. That's exactly. Yeah, that's right
02:14:22I didn't list the coast to coast with Art Bell
02:14:25Oh near-death experiences. Okay. I like non-disclosure agreement, right, right
02:14:31Yeah
02:14:37Good stuff. All right. Let's see if we had any other last questions over here
02:14:42Having a dream you trying to pee is the worst when you wake up. Yeah
02:14:45Honestly, what sucks about sleep paralysis is your body needs more oxygen when you're awake and you can't breathe
02:14:50I guess that makes sense when you're sleeping everything sort of slows down. So you need less oxygen
02:14:56So also you wake up and you feel like you need more oxygen
02:15:00But your body's not processing as much or giving you as much because you're still in half sleep
02:15:04I think that has something to do with it as well. Yeah, well, that's that does sound rough. It does sound rough
02:15:09All right, we'll just wait for so yeah, we'll just take the last couple of comments here. Thank you guys so much
02:15:14Thanks, of course
02:15:15That would explain the suffocation feeling. Yeah. Yeah
02:15:17I've certainly have had that where I feel like I just can't get a breath in the dream and then when I wake myself
02:15:23Wake up. Have you ever tried? I mean I used to do this kind of goofy stuff when I was a kid
02:15:29No, no that I used to try I used to always want to find out when I fell asleep
02:15:33I can never do it, right
02:15:34But I used to get a I sit in the bath and I would get a face cloth and I'd see can I breathe through the face
02:15:40cloth because it's got little tiny holes in it, right and so it's that feeling of like having something like a
02:15:46Cover over your mouth like a mask. Yeah. Yeah, and you you can't quite get enough air and
02:15:52It's not being choked or anything it's just and I think that that I think I didn't I understand that now that your body
02:15:57Doesn't need as much air, but if you're waking up, you're not getting enough air because your body needs more air in a waking state
02:16:05Shadow people are monstrous evil spirits who knows how much is real versus made-up stories
02:16:09But it kept you company overnight near-death experiences
02:16:11But I gotta think an all-night show where people are talking about shadow people sleep paralysis likes cuz you can hear stuff in your sleep
02:16:18Like oh for sure, I
02:16:20I've heard stuff before and I like I heard something flying to my window and I was like
02:16:24Why are you sleeping the head when I was like in a dream?
02:16:26I have to make sure if I do listen to something when I'm going to sleep that it doesn't have bumper music
02:16:30That's loud because then you're just doing
02:16:33Okay, some of you just woke someone up who was listening to this show while they're sleeping
02:16:38Guys, I'm literally been yelling the entire time. Right, right
02:16:41I've been trying to fix my sleep in a panic literally having panic attacks like fainting feelings while I'm driving not fun at all
02:16:48Trying a lot of things about 20% better so far. Hey, I certainly would recommend us not not driving when you're having those feelings
02:16:55Just look it up sleep paralysis and post-traumatic stress disorder are correlated. Yes. I've heard that as well
02:17:00I've had many dreams when I was younger where I tried to open my eyes, but couldn't you the bright light in the dream?
02:17:05I wanted to take control, but there was no way I could yeah. Yeah, I use magnesium to prevent Charlie horses in my legs
02:17:11Oh, that's a cramps. I think and stuff like that
02:17:14Yeah, yeah, no, no Charlie was I think it's a thumb
02:17:18Restless leg syndrome is I have that's why I stretch every night because I don't want otherwise I
02:17:22Don't move around during the day. So like sometimes before bed. I just go and go for a run pretty much
02:17:26Yeah, for sure
02:17:27Yeah
02:17:27Oh you go for walks and all of that too because you want to make sure that you're not gonna have to me like
02:17:32Just go for walks because I like to move around and stuff. All right, right
02:17:35Fascinating, you know because we live for third of a life in bed, right and and a lot of people have a tough time
02:17:41Sleeping I certainly know that as I've gotten older my sleep has become a little less deep
02:17:46I'll wake up a couple of times in the night. Nothing major, but I certainly noticed that
02:17:51You wake up to get more water because your body is gone for like 98 to 97 percent liquid
02:17:56Right, right like my charger. I basically have a phone who needs water as a battery. Nice live off of water. I
02:18:03Worked nights in security since 1998. Mr. Five nights at Freddy's guy
02:18:10Yeah
02:18:12Yeah, we knew someone who worked nights as insecurity back in the day and they they had a tough time switching before
02:18:19Back and forth. I'd be good at that because it's at night. I'm just not tired
02:18:23I have to watch like boring videos on YouTube to get tired. I mean rumble
02:18:29not kidding
02:18:30No, I I never get tired
02:18:34Very very rarely very rarely, but I never I'm never like, oh my gosh. I gotta go to bed
02:18:38Mom's like that. I have that sometimes like I haven't done anything interesting in like an hour. I'm just like
02:18:42And I want to sleep but then if I like if someone says oh, it's go watch a movie like a late-night movie or something
02:18:47Which is rare, but it's fun. We've had some great reviews sometimes doing late-night movies
02:18:50We did go to see that Godzilla movie, but was that 11 at night or something like that?
02:18:55We came out of theater like one cuz it just kept going. It really did. It really did
02:19:00These are the people yelling in the movie theater. I had to tell them to stop up
02:19:04No, but then we had to go to that one McDonald's at the end because you wanted food or something like that and
02:19:09That's the one that never has anything and they're like, it's the 24-hour one and they never have anything
02:19:13Their ice cream machine hasn't been working for like three years. Okay, so it's the ice ages
02:19:18I'll just go there and I'll just ask them for fun
02:19:21Like I don't even want ice cream and like is it working if you're like, no still and then they never have the coffees
02:19:27Like how do you run out of coffee and then they didn't have like burgers or fries?
02:19:32Yeah, I was like 11 or so I 10 and they didn't have hash browns like wouldn't you guys and hash browns like 9 and I'm
02:19:37Like, what do you mean 9?
02:19:39Anyways, what's this one is I?
02:19:42Either put on astronomy videos or random videos or num video game or other type of lore videos
02:19:48I know he's the guy who's been trashing it in the past. Like oh, they're boring. I go to sleep with them who this guy
02:19:54Yeah, yeah
02:19:56I absolutely and we can I mean this could be a whole other show, but I had no idea
02:20:02How much people were doing back lore background law for video games? Yeah, I actually enjoyed night shift swapping work schedule sucks, though
02:20:09Yeah, that's true cards novels newspaper and patrols
02:20:12long before internet
02:20:15patrols
02:20:17But no fudge vanilla ice cream, mr. Grace, it is actually pretty good. Yeah, it's it's the caramel
02:20:22Oh, no fudge is different fudge is more chocolatey, right?
02:20:26Alright. Okay. Well we could go on and on but let's close it off now
02:20:30At some point really really good stuff because you weren't gonna come in for an hour, so it's been really nice
02:20:35Well, that was sort of my first thought that because I didn't want to book you in for the whole show
02:20:38Just in case you had other stuff you wanted to do more chemistry homework tonight. Oh, no, we're keeping you from chemistry homework
02:20:51It's working 27 hours today because I'm like, sorry guys, I'm gonna make you know, I'm actually worried 27 hours same
02:20:58There's more depth to Minecraft than I would have expected. They're a Minecraft law video. I don't like those ones
02:21:03No, I think they're honestly look I'm one to talk
02:21:07But I think a lot of the Minecraft stuff is a bit made up
02:21:10Although there's been some very interesting discoveries when playing like the discs. Hmm, like the music songs. I'm not sure again
02:21:17I haven't been into Minecraft war in quite a long time
02:21:19I'm sure there's been more that kind of backs it up since I last looked so I'm not gonna talk about that one because I
02:21:24Have very little experience, but I would say
02:21:26To my knowledge, I have like when I first looked at it
02:21:29I didn't usually think the Minecraft war was like this is kind of silly kind of thing
02:21:33Boring stuff like free. Never mind. Oh, that's funny. I kidding. That's funny
02:21:43What is hero Brian
02:21:48Go for it
02:21:49It's like a white eyed Steve who like it was a whole thing about he would come
02:21:54And he got so popular that every time Minecraft released an update in the update notes
02:21:59they would say hero Brian has been removed from the game every update and they finally they missed one and
02:22:06Everyone that started up a whole thing
02:22:08Creepypasta. Yeah, really
02:22:12How how does James as an adult?
02:22:15With any mild internet culture knows about this. Oh security patrols five nights at Freddy's
02:22:21Hero Brian is in notches younger brother who died and was stuck into the video game allegedly. Yeah, it's not
02:22:29I'm not proud that you know all of this. I know it's you find you you're a kid. I'm not
02:22:34I'm not pleased. I am you know, what is anybody who has the slightest bit of internet culture knows this? Sorry
02:22:39I guess I do not have the slightest bit when I was younger. I told you all about this guy and you were like, yeah
02:22:45Yeah. Oh that guy
02:22:48All right, okay, well listen guys, thanks you so much for a fun fun evening and thanks to see for joining us for this
