00:00Now, two teams that we think are going to reappear in the months of October, that's
00:07the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Milwaukee Brewers.
00:10Five to four victory yesterday for the Brewers.
00:11And I was telling you on the show yesterday, I didn't really care what the starting pitching
00:14matchup was.
00:15The Dodgers were hot at the plate and I was going to ride that out.
00:18And if you ask me my vibes for the end of the first inning, three to nothing, Los Angeles
00:24Dodgers over the Milwaukee Brewers.
00:26But coming back in the return of a starting pitcher that you think is going to help you
00:30down the stretch and maybe win playoff games.
00:32That's Walker Buehler.
00:33Shame he got injured.
00:34What a year and a half ago at this point.
00:36Now, this was one of the young up and coming guys that you expected to be challenging for
00:39Cy Young's year in and year out.
00:41Now looking to just get his footing back on the mound in Major League Baseball.
00:45He goes three and a third innings pitch, only gave up three hits, but four runs.
00:49Now, having said those four runs, only one of those technically were earned.
00:52Three strikeouts, four walks.
00:54He's got to clean that up.
00:55And certainly he does know that.
00:57If we're looking at the lineup itself for the Dodgers, Ohtani, Betts, Freeman, Hernandez,
01:02Lux, Kiermaier late in the innings, Barnes and Ahmed, seven, eight, nine, they're not
01:07going to give you too much trouble.
01:08But my goodness, that one through five, one through six on the Los Angeles Dodgers is
01:12absolutely spectacular.
01:13And Ohtani doesn't get a base hit yesterday.
01:15Betts comes back hot as all get out still.
01:18Now hitting 310 on the season, Freddie Freeman got three base knots and it still wasn't enough.
01:23Why?
01:25Because you have a young pitcher coming back in Walker Bueller, just trying to find his
01:27way.
01:28Sure.
01:29The three to nothing lead was absolutely fantastic, but that three to nothing lead was evaporating
01:32already by the second inning as it was three to three.
01:35Now, late run in the seventh inning propelled there the Milwaukee Brewers to that victory.
01:40But if we are looking at the outset and the standings now in the National League West,
01:44every single game matters.
01:46Can you imagine being seven and three in your last 10 ballgames and losing multiple games
01:51to the teams behind you?
01:52That's happening right now.
01:53The Diamondbacks and the Padres, both two and a half games back right now on the Los
01:57Angeles Dodgers.
01:58But that win yesterday for the Milwaukee Brewers, it used to be talking about the Philadelphia
02:02Phillies as having the biggest lead in the National League and being able to walk away
02:06with an easy division title.
02:07Are we saying that now about the Milwaukee Brewers?
02:10You took behind them the St. Louis Cardinals, three and seven in their last 10 games, loses
02:14a four straight games.
02:15And even the Reds who have actually won their last four games still sit eight and a half
02:21games back in that division.
02:23So it looks like the Milwaukee Brewers might have the easiest path at this time.
