00:00Now we go to Atlanta. Chris Sale on the bump yesterday for the Braves against the Milwaukee Brewers, and it was the Brewers getting the better of the Braves. A high-scoring affair, all things considered. 8-5 the victory for the Brew Crew. 16 hits for Milwaukee. 10 hits out of the Braves, but Milwaukee takes the victory 8-5 over Atlanta.
00:27I mean, this game could have been so much worse, too. You take a look at the Braves. They get their five runs, and you love to see it, but they're only one for four with runners in scoring position, so not a lot of pressure being put on the pitching staff for the Milwaukee Brewers.
00:38Take a look at the Brewers yesterday, Ben. Left 14 runners on base, but were six of 22. So that's a 22 at-bats with runners in scoring position, which is incredible. They're lucky to hang 15 to 16 runs on the Atlanta Braves.
00:51But it just feels like now things are starting to slip away from the Braves. When the Phillies were playing bad baseball, they were closing that gap here. Now with this losing streak coincided with the Philadelphia Phillies starting to wake up.
01:01Now the Phillies are getting that breathing room. 7.5 game lead over the Braves, 8 over the New York Mets. A good win for the Brewers won't take anything away from it, but it just seems like the Braves are floundering at this point right now.
