Cops to probe singer's death as 'sudden death' pending lab report

Police will treat the death of singer Muhammad Nidza Afham Mokhtar as sudden death pending the results of the post-mortem on the 23-year-old, who was found dead on Wednesday (Aug 11) at the Kota Bridge in Klang about a day after going missing.

00:10In a statement on Thursday, Selangor Police Chief Commissioner Datuk Hussein Omar Khan
00:15reported that the post-mortem was conducted from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
00:21He added that the exact cause of death is still pending laboratory investigation, but
00:26no physical injuries were found.
00:29After the post-mortem, Nidza's remains were returned to his family around 5 p.m. for burial.
00:35The funeral prayer took place at the Puncak Alam Mosque, and Nidza's remains were then
00:39laid to rest at the Felda Bukit Ceraka Muslim Cemetery at 6.32 p.m.
00:45The body of the 23-year-old singer and YouTuber was discovered under the Kota Bridge in Kleng
00:50around 7.30 p.m. after he was reported missing a day earlier while jogging alone at Sultan
00:56Suleyman Stadium in Kleng.
