Police have recorded the statements of eight individuals in connection with the death of singer Muhammad Nidza Afham Mokhtar.
On Saturday (Aug 17), Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan stated that police are investigating various angles, including to discover whether there is any criminal element as well as any personal problems and mental aspects.

00:10On Saturday, Selangor Police Chief Commissioner Datuk Hussain Omar Khan stated that the investigation
00:16is being conducted from multiple angles, including the possibility of criminal elements, personal
00:22issues and mental health factors.
00:25Commissioner Hussain on Friday visited the Kota Bridge where the singer's body was discovered
00:30and was briefed on the investigation by the Assistant Investigating Officer.
00:35He stated that no reports had been filed regarding any missing items belonging to the singer
00:41and his family had not reported any such losses.
00:45The singer's body was found beneath the Kota Bridge on Wednesday evening and he was last
00:50seen leaving a house on Jalan Kerongsang 4 in Bandar Putri on August 13.
00:55His girlfriend traced his last known location to the bridge, where a family member found
00:59his wallet and other belongings.
01:02A post-mortem examination revealed no physical injuries on his body and a lab report is pending
01:08to determine the exact cause of death.
01:12Muhammad Nidza Afham, known for his single, Ternyata Bukan Aku, gained popularity through
01:18his song covers on social media, particularly on his YouTube channel, where his cover of
01:24Rindu Setengah Mati has garnered nearly 7 million views.
01:29He also appeared in I Can See Your Voice, Season 3.
01:33A resident of Shah Alam, he previously studied sports management at Uni KL and worked with
01:39his older brother while maintaining an active part-time presence in the singing industry
01:43on social media.
