The Lorong Tuanku Abdul Rahman night market in Kuala Lumpur will be closed on Saturday (Aug 31) to facilitate the search and rescue (SAR) operation for the victim of the Jalan Masjid India sinkhole and to conduct soil tests.

The search and rescue efforts entered its eighth day on Friday, with authorities employing various techniques to clear the incident site.
