00:09The House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 7 trailer teases the events of this season's

00:14penultimate episode.

00:16The death of Rhaenys and Melis at the battle at Rook's Rest marked a major loss for the

00:20blacks with Queen Rhaenyra losing a valuable member of her small council and a battle-tested

00:26dragon.

00:27From the House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 5's ending, Jace and Rhaenyra devise a plan

00:32to turn the tide of war by finding others with Valyrian blood to claim the riderless

00:37dragons on Dragonstone, including Vermitha, Silverwing, and Seasmoke.

00:41Picking up immediately after Episode 6's ending, the trailer sees Rhaenyra confronting

00:46the new dragonrider, Adham of Hull, who is now riding Seasmoke.

00:51Elsewhere, in Harrenhal, Daemon begins treating with the new Lord of Riverrun, the young Oscar

00:57Tully.

01:01House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 6 marked another slower-paced, more brooding installment

01:06in the second season, contrasted with the more action-packed battle at Rook's Rest in

01:11Episode 4.

01:13To start, Jace and Rhaenyra's plan to have others with Valyrian blood claim the riderless

01:18dragons on Dragonstone goes horribly wrong.

01:22The Lord Commander of Rhaenyra's Queensguard, Ser Stefan Darklyn, whom she believes has

01:28some Targaryen blood, is unable to claim Seasmoke and dies a fiery death.

01:33During House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 6's ending, Seasmoke does essentially claim

01:39Adham of Hull as his rider.

01:41Adham is one of the bastard sons of Corlys and therefore part Valyrian, and Seamoke is

01:46the dragon formerly ridden by Laena.

01:49The Episode 7 trailer shows Rhaenyra confronting Adham and though his allegiance may seem unclear,

01:54his father Corlys is aligned with Rhaenyra and is now her Hand of the Queen, so it's

01:59likely he will join their side, essentially claiming Seasmoke for the Blacks, as Jace

02:04and Rhaenyra's plan originally intended.

02:06While the Blacks likely gained a dragon in Seasmoke, the Episode 7 trailer reveals that

02:11Prince Daero's dragon has taken to wing.

02:14Daero is the 16-year-old son of King Vysaes and Alicent who has been living as a ward

02:19in Oldtown, and it seems the character could make his first appearance sometime during

02:24the season's final two episodes.

02:26One of the members of the small council predicts that with Daero's dragon, the Hightower host

02:31will be unstoppable.

02:32With more dragons entering the fold, expect more fire and blood for the season's final

02:37two episodes.
