00:00So how different does this year feel for you?
00:02Your projected starter, new defense, new coaches after last season.
00:06How do you encapsulate the last eight months, 12 months?
00:10It's been a little weird.
00:11I mean, up and down, having new coaching staff coming in,
00:14you've got to get adjusted to them.
00:16But at the end of the day, I'm still here, and I chose to be here,
00:19and I still get to go play the game that I love to play.
00:22So it's really not too much different for me.
00:24How have the workouts been?
00:25Because obviously, being a veteran in that room with Alphonso,
00:28how much have you guys taken that leadership role,
00:30knowing how many new faces are coming in, especially on defense?
00:32Yeah, we knew we had to step it up.
00:34Me, Zoe, Drew, especially in the linebacker room,
00:38have really taken that challenge, bringing all the young guys with us,
00:42and really having all the new transfers kind of coming in.
00:45We knew we had to get them along fast, and we still
00:47had to get used to the new workouts with Coach Dio,
00:50and really how they run things around here.
00:52But we kind of had to go fast with that.
00:54And then, as you know, got to get the young guys,
00:56especially the people that are coming in or just
00:58who got in early June, kind of get them up to speed with everything as well.
01:02How do you describe Tyler Irwin's workout program?
01:04How much different is it than you experienced
01:06in the past couple of coaching staffs?
01:07It's not too much different.
01:08If you ask any strength coach really around the country,
01:11they're, hey, we're all hankering, we're all backswing, we're all benching.
01:14It's all kind of like the same thing.
01:16There's obviously some different things that now we focus on
01:18that we didn't focus on as much last year.
01:20And that's just kind of the system, and what Tio likes,
01:24and things that would be best for us.
01:26So I kind of take it in 100%.
