00:01The Philippine Olympics were literally a smile of victory
00:05as they greeted their fellow Filipinos who were waiting for their supporters
00:10in the Heroes' Welcome Parade.
00:12And live, we're joined by Joseph Mor.

00:19Yes, Vicky, our fellow Filipinos received a warm welcome
00:22here in our 16th Olympics
00:25that showed their skills in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
00:28Even though it was a very hot day earlier this afternoon.
00:37Our fellow Filipinos received a warm welcome
00:40in the Heroes' Welcome Parade
00:42here in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
00:45At 4 p.m., the athletes arrived
00:48excited to see the warm welcome.
00:51Our fellow Filipinos were not surprised
00:53that it was a hot day even though they were waiting
00:55here in our Olympics.
00:57And when they arrived, they lost their excitement and pride
01:01for the Filipinos who were able to bring glory to our country.
01:06Sixteen athletes joined the float
01:08led by Olympic double gold medalist Carlos Yulo.
01:11Game after game, the athletes were taking selfies with those waiting for them.
01:15We're very happy
01:17because he's our hero in our country.
01:20More fun in the Philippines!
01:23Carlos Yulo even did an AA.
01:25Paul Volter Ejay Obiana did not make it
01:28because he had to fly due to a competition on August 21.
01:31The Homecoming Parade was organized by the government
01:34as a recognition of the honor given by all the athletes who participated in the Olympics.

02:05and ended at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

02:11According to Cinta Carion, President of the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines,
02:14she's just recently married to the gymnastics Olympic team
02:17in Sabac, Los Angeles in 2028
02:20along with the two brothers of Yulo.
