00:24President Marcos provided P25 million pesos for the province of Batanes

00:32and it was accepted by Batangas Governor, Batanes Governor, Marilu Caico.

00:42The house of Rosidelia Napata is just beside the sea so they can feel the storming of Baguio, Opilian this Monday.

00:49You would think that their house was swept away by the strong winds and rain.

00:54They ran to the neighbor's house but even though they were helped, they were swept away by the storm.

00:59This is serious. This just happened to us. The storm was very strong. It was almost yesterday.

01:08Oh my God. Lord, please stop. We can't take it anymore. It's cold. We were all wet yesterday.

01:17President Bongbong Marcos Jr. visited the houses that were destroyed by the storm

01:21along with several residents of Basco along with Batanes Governor, Marilu Caico.

01:25The house of Joel Mirabueno and Peter John Rada was swept away by the storm.

01:30The President also inspected the destroyed houses in Batanes Central School.

01:34According to the President, the infrastructure in Batanes was the most affected by the storm.

01:41More than 2,000 houses were destroyed in Batanes.

01:44The President and the province gave first aid kits and wood.

01:47But there are still supplies that will be shipped on October 6.

01:52The second round of Family Food Packs was also given to the DSWD as well as water filtration devices.

01:58The President also gave P25 million for rehabilitation and financial assistance to the province.

02:05The families of each house have different needs.

02:10That's why we need to file a case.

02:12We will release P10,000 for each house.

02:19The Speaker of the House requested P15 million for help.

02:26The Office of the President will release P25 million for you.

02:32In his visit to Basco, Batanes, President Marcos emphasized the need

02:37for the residents of Batanes to help rebuild their houses that were destroyed by the storm.

02:43I saw the houses that were destroyed, especially the people.

02:47Everything was destroyed.

02:52With the help of the President and the officials of the province,

02:55Caico requested for a moratorium on the prohibition of DNR in the extraction of aggregates from the rocks.

03:11How long will we endure because of this very restrictive law?

03:20Even though the intention of this law is good,

03:49According to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines,
