00:00A wonderful return yesterday in Milwaukee, but for the road
00:07visiting team in the Dodgers. Mookie Betts makes his return
00:11for Los Angeles, his first game since way back on June 16th. It
00:17was the left wrist injury. Mookie Betts was back and he
00:20came back in a big way. Three RBIs, a two-run home run in the
00:24third inning. Shohei Otani added on a two-run blast, still in
00:29the lead off hole and Clayton Kershaw was darn good. His best
00:32outing so far in 2024 as the Dodgers win the opener in
00:36Milwaukee five to two. Yeah, good win by the Dodgers. By the
00:39way, only two for five with runners in scoring positions.
00:41So, making the best out of some of those outcomes but the
00:44biggest outcome is Mookie Betts back into that lineup. If you
00:46watch that first at back then, almost gets hit with an inside
00:49pitch that had this near the daylights out of the Dodgers
00:52organization. Then strikes out and basically corkscrews
00:54himself into the ground and falls down. It's like, oh, look
00:56at this. All that time off. He's really not back with it.
00:58Oh, he was back with it later in that baseball game. That's
01:01what you want to see. One two punch like Otani and Betts at
01:04the top of the lineup and they're both going yard. Boy,
01:07that's a good sign for the Dodgers here now. Seventy and
01:09forty-nine and by the way, the Milwaukee Brewers, quality ball
01:11club, great win for the Dodgers and a great start by Kershaw.
