Braves Lose Series Finale to Rockies After Bullpen Collapse

00:00The Braves failing to make up any ground this weekend. They
00:06lose their weekend set in cores against the Rockies and
00:10Colorado takes the rubber match and the series despite
00:13trailing eight to two entering the eighth inning. The Braves
00:17were up by six runs into the bottom of the eighth. The Rocks
00:20score seven in that home half of the frame to come all the way
00:25back and pick up a victory in the rubber match and pick up a
00:28series weekend victory as well. Nine to eight in the finale.
00:33Yeah. Schwellenbach starts that game. Six innings pitch, two
00:35earned runs. That should be an easy victory for him. You're
00:38even tacking on late only to see the bullpen give it away.
00:42Jackson, two-thirds of an innings pitch, four earned
00:44runs. Jimenez comes in a third of an innings pitch. Three
00:47earned runs at that point. A disastrous showing for the
00:50bullpen for the Atlanta Braves giving that game away and we'll
00:53see if there is a lingering effect as they now head out to
00:55the West Coast and take on the San Francisco Giants. Sale will
00:58be on the mountain. So, it's a great way to sort of bounce
01:00back but boy oh boy. Yeah. You expected that to be a victory.
01:03Get some momentum heading out and you take that devastating
01:05loss. There could be something to watch tonight. No doubt
01:08about it. Can't lose those games but as we like to say,
01:10that's Coors Magic right there in full effect.
