00:36I almost seemed shocked that we found his information
00:38to be able to contact him.

00:46The microchip had never been registered by the owner,
00:48but the people who sold it were the
00:50city shelter here, so we called
00:52the city shelter and got the owner's
00:54contact information.

00:58We were on the phone, and I was, like, sweating
01:00because I was so mad. The way he was so dismissive.

01:59but we actually had gone to the vet
02:01with some of our kitties, and while we were
02:03waiting, we decided, okay, let's go get some Starbucks.
02:05And we were on our way to New York.

02:09That same night. And that's when we were, like, scrambling.
02:11Like, we need a foster to come through
02:13and help us tonight.
02:15It worked.
02:17And luckily, it worked out. One of our adopters
02:19stepped up and took her for the
02:21five days that we were gone.

02:25on Betty. She's here. She's going to get
02:27spayed, and she's back from foster
02:29who she was with for a few days, and now
02:31she's back in our care. She is available
02:33for adoption. We do know we have a lot of
02:35adoption applications, so we're going to be going through those this
02:37week, but if you are interested in adopting her,
