It took a whole month for this woman to rescue a stray dog who followed her scooter home every day — and just a couple of days for the dog to surprise her with puppies! ❤️ We talked with Selina about what it was like to deliver the newborn pups and make their mama finally feel loved.

00:00She wouldn't let me go. She would chase my bike.
00:08When I saw Maddie for the first time, she was really scared and didn't let me get close.
00:19It took me several months every single day to approach her.
00:23No matter what time I went there, she would be sitting there. She would hear my bike and her tail would go nuts.
00:35Eventually the food became secondary and it was more about us having that connection every day.
00:53The day she let me actually touch her was the day I decided, now is the time I'm going to take you off the street.
01:02I will be able to take her to the vet and get her sterilized properly.
01:09The vet said, we got some information for you. They said, well, she's pregnant.
01:19I was a bit shocked because I literally didn't see it when she was on the street.
01:22I just thought she was gaining weight because I was feeding her. They said, oh, she's due in a couple of days.
01:29I was never that close to a dog being pregnant and I haven't been through this before,
01:33so it was very new to me and I was quite nervous, to be honest. She just fully surrendered.
01:40Not yet. Nope, that's a bit into it. All she wanted is just cuddle me all day.
01:47Hi. Are you cute? Are you cute? I decided I'm not going to sleep much anymore. I had a camping site
01:55down there and just like laid next to her to make her feel safe and one night it happened.
02:01I still get goosebumps when I think about this because I literally have never experienced such a magical moment.
02:17I knew that these puppies will have it safe and they're loved and they have no fear or suffering or worry out there.
02:39She's still in my care, still looking for a family. I got two of the puppies adopted and one puppy is still with me.
02:46If I find the perfect match for her, she deserves her own family and love.
