00:13One of our neighbors, she called us over and she was like,

00:25I know we're really scared, but we're here in a safe place.

00:34Are we going to go to the vet to see if you have a microchip?
00:38They just scanned for a microchip and no microchip.
00:41So I was like, all right, well, back home, I had a new employee starting with my company.
00:46She happens to have dog experience.
00:49She was like, do you want me to help you groom her?
00:51Devin looks over and she is like, this dog is pregnant.
00:56It's okay, it's okay, sweetheart, it's okay.
00:59Okay, I need towels, I need towels.
01:05I had no idea what to do. I was just feverishly Googling things.
01:10I kind of gaslit my husband a little bit because I was like,
01:16well, let's just keep them for two days.
01:19She became Mama Swifty.
01:26It was seven puppies.
01:29I think he's going to be one of those puppies that wants to be carried around everywhere.
01:35I had basically nine dogs, a cat and a baby all in the house,
01:40and only two of them were potty trained.
01:43I realized early on that she was going to need a much calmer environment.
01:48It was hard to say goodbye. She was still so scared of everyone else.
01:52I'm excited to get so much love and pets soon.
01:57Home started lining up for all of the puppies.

02:22In the hotel room, our conversation was, wow, we have a challenge here ahead of us.
02:28It's night one in the hotel room and Swifty is calm, not shaking.
