00:00A crisis meeting to discuss the situation in Russia's Kursk region.
00:05Moscow has accused Ukrainian troops of crossing the border and launching a massive attack
00:09on Tuesday, prompting authorities to declare a state of emergency in the region.
00:15As you know, the Kiev regime has undertaken another large-scale provocation and launched
00:20indiscriminate shelling of civilian buildings, residential houses, ambulances with different
00:26types of weapons, including missiles.
00:30This footage shows damaged roads, houses and cars in the Russian town of Suja after Ukrainian
00:35shelling.
00:36It's been geolocated, but the date of when it was taken hasn't been confirmed.
00:40The defence ministry says the ground attack was thwarted, releasing these images claiming
00:44to show Russian drone attacks on Ukrainian armoured vehicles.
00:48Kiev has yet to comment on any of these reports, but the head of the Ukrainian region of Sumy,
00:53which sits just south of Kursk, has ordered the evacuation of 6,000 people living near
00:58the border.
00:59If confirmed, the attack would mark the first incursion of its kind from Ukraine, though
01:03groups of anti-Kremlin Russians have launched raids before which were repelled.
01:09It's unclear why Ukraine would have launched such an attack.
01:11Some analysts say it would be to draw Russian reserves to the area to weaken Moscow's offensive
01:15operations in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region, where Russian forces are making gains.
01:21That could also risk stretching Ukrainian troops further along the front line, which
01:25is over 1,000 kilometres long.
