00:00Going into the season and knowing it was our final and knowing we could hopefully answer some of the questions and
00:08come to certain conclusions for the audiences
00:12Yeah, I feel good about it
00:15Happy is a tough word. I mean, I think we feel a lot of things. It's very bittersweet, you know
00:21Something that has been such an integral part of my life for so many years and having to say goodbye is always tough. But
00:27But again knowing that this would be our final season and getting the opportunity to wrap up these storylines and answer some
00:34Questions around Ben was really exciting and I was I was happy that we finally got to sort of dive into some of those things
00:41I was I was very happy with the ability to come back because by that point but by the time you're in season four
00:47There's a little bit of a looseness a little bit of a comfort when you show up on set and you know everyone and you sort
00:52Know what instrument everyone's singing and you just know where to fit in and so it's almost like an orchestra that's kind of functioning on all
00:59levels
01:00So be able to do that
01:02You know, you don't really get that a lot because when you're coming into a project you're you're testing everything and and when you come
01:09To umbrella after four seasons and you have a character that has a very specific
01:13Personality and you've seen it grow for three years. All you can do is just surrender to wherever
01:19the scene is going and
01:23Hopefully magic happens
01:25So, yeah, I'm very proud and I'm very happy with how it ends. I
01:29personally, yeah for Luther, you know, I took him on a big old journey and
01:33Ticked a lot of boxes during the the whole process and then the ending I think is exactly what it needs to be for this show
01:42Just the irony of that we're you know
01:44Always trying to prevent the end of the world and actually we're the we're the problem. So we've got to go
01:50and
01:52Yeah, I think it's left with a sense of hope
01:55but there's also this sense of completion and
02:00We've tied up a lot of loose ends, but also left a few questions, which I think is always important
02:04You don't know, you know leave people going up when we've tied up every I always found that with Lord of the Rings
02:08It was like it never ended. It's like we must tie up every loose end
02:14And I think it's nice to leave a little bit of a question mark
02:18So no, I think it was I think it's done its job
02:21The show's been very fun to do
02:34It's a gratifying thing as an actor to get to play a great character arc and
02:41Speaking for myself, there's definitely that this season. I was very happy to do that
02:45I mean the show I think ends in a very gratifying way
02:50I think it's
02:53You know, you get all the answers that you're you're needing
02:58And we go on quite an emotional rollercoaster
03:02through the season
03:04Lila in particular has quite a raw and vulnerable journey
03:08it's it was amazing getting to play at this time with the sort of added depths of being a mother and having a marriage and
03:15She's still sort of like got her like core mischievous side, but
03:23Yeah, I I've loved playing her this season it's been my favorite season yet
