कांग्रेस सांसद गौरव गोगोई ने कहा कि जो हमारी मांग थी, जो इंडेक्सेस का जो क्लॉज था जो बिल में बजट वो पूरी तरीके से मिडिल क्लास विरोधी था। हमारे दबाव के बाद मिडिल क्लास को राहत मिली है। इंडिया एलायंस के दबाव के बाद आज केन्द्र सरकार ने उस पर रोल बैक घोषित किया है और इसीलिए मै कृतज्ञ हूं इंडिया एलायंस के विभिन्न दलों के नेताओं के प्रति और LOP राहुल गांधी के प्रति लेकिन हमारी एक और मांग है वो भी मिडिल क्लास के संपर्क में है। लाइफ इंश्योरेंस और हेल्थ इंश्योरेंस पर जो जीएसटी लगा है 18% वो बहुत ज्यादा है ये एकदम नाइंसाफी की गई है मिडिल क्लास के साथ। लगा है 18% जीएसटी की मांग से सरकार भाग रही है।
