01:16In an interview with Collider, Hedlund hinted that she might already have an idea of what

01:21Darth Plagueis would be up to in the Acolyte season to outside the Acolyte.

01:25One of the things Darth Plagueis was most known for was his obsession with Etinan life.

01:30His first mention in Star Wars came during Palpatine's speech to Anakin Skywalker in

01:35Star Wars Episode 3, Revenge of the Sith, where he revealed that Plagueis had discovered

01:41how to live forever just before he was killed.

01:43The fact that Mother Anisea and the witches of Brendo created life through the Force could

01:48be exactly what Plagueis needs to develop his own Force technique, and it seems that

01:53Hedlund wants to tell that story in the Acolyte season 2.

01:57Osha seems to be the key to Darth Plagueis' search for Etinan life, but there are still

02:02a few problems standing between him and his ultimate goal.

02:05For one, the final of the Acolyte saw Osha joining the Stranger as his apprentice.

02:10Fighting them both at the same time might be too great a risk, even for a Sith Lord.

02:15On top of that, Plagueis still needs to discover more details about how Osha was created.

02:20The best way to get that information would be through simply watching her, not fighting

02:25and potentially killing her.

02:26For these reasons, it seems Darth Plagueis will remain in the shadows.

02:31The Stranger also suggests that Darth Plagueis will act from the shadows in the Acolyte season

02:362.

02:37It's still not clear how the Stranger fits into the Sith rule of 2 or if he's even a

02:41Sith at all.

02:42In either case, Darth Plagueis is almost certainly not his ally and the Stranger likely doesn't

02:48know the Sith Lord is there.

02:49Hedlund herself seemed to suggest this earlier in the same interview.

02:53She refused to admit whether the Stranger was aware of Plagueis' presence.

02:57If he is still going unnoticed, Darth Plagueis will likely want to keep his element of surprise

03:03for as long as possible.

03:04Based on Darth Plagueis' ultimate goal of unlocking Etinan life and the fact that he'll

03:10likely be operating in secret, he could have a very subtle role in the Acolyte season 2.

03:15The Stranger has already shown what a powerful dark side user looks like when they reveal
