First-ever Filipina rowing Olympian Joanie Delgaco, nakauwi na sa Pilipinas

00:00Filipino hurdler John Cabang-Tolentino confirmed that he did not make it to the 2024 Paris Olympics Men's 110-meter hurdles rehearsal due to a minor injury.
00:13A few hours before the race started, he announced that he withdrew from the tournament.
00:18Cabang-Tolentino also asked for an apology to everyone who waited and thanked the Filipinos who supported him.
00:25He currently holds the national record in Men's 110-meter hurdles in 13.37 seconds.
00:36The country returned this Wednesday to the first ever Filipino rowing Olympian, Jowani Delgaco, after his campaign in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
00:46Together with his coach, Edgardo Mayrina, Delgaco was joined by Philippine Sports Commission Executive Director, Paolo Tatan.
00:54Delgaco finished 20th overall for the Women's Single Sculls.
00:59Due to his impressive Olympic debut, Iriga Native Rower received the Olympic Solidarity Scholarship from the World Rowing Federation.
