NBI nabs sisters linked to online trafficking of minors

NBI Director Jaime Santiago, along with the NBI Violence Against Women and Children Division (NBI-VAWCD), presents on Aug. 6, 2024, two sisters involved in online sex trafficking of minor children, including a 2-month-old baby. Santiago said the Homeland Security of the United States alerted them to the suspects' illegal activities, prompting them to conduct an operation to rescue the minors and apprehend the two suspects, who will face charges of Qualified Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Children.
