Marcos orders return of P400-M budget for Tourism campaign

'Sustaining momentum': President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. tackles the 2025 budget of the Department of Tourism (DOT) during his meeting with Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco and other Cabinet officials in Malacañang on June 15, 2025. During the meeting, the President ordered the Department of Budget and Management to reinstate the P400 million budget for the DOT's branding to sustain the country's global standing and lure more tourists. The funding will be sourced from the President's contingency fund.
