One of NASA’s two stuck astronauts got a much welcomed change of scenery Thursday, stepping out on her first spacewalk since arriving at the International Space Station more than seven months ago.

00:00Seven-and-a-half minutes into today's EVA. We'll open things up as you see there and get ready to traverse out into the vacuum of space.
00:11I'm coming out.
00:16NASA astronaut Nick Haig wearing the suit with red stripes EV1 exit the Quest airlock and Sunny Williams was just making her way out of the hatch herself.
00:27And while they make their way across, flight controllers have given the command to power down the rate gyro assembly number two.
00:34That rate gyro to remove and replace provides orientation data on all three axes of the International Space Station.
00:42That is today's priority task of U.S. spacewalk number 91.
00:48And there is a great look at Expedition 72 Commander Sunny Williams with Nick Haig just above her on the truss of the International Space Station.
