00:00Obviously, it was a nice good warm one.
00:03So we were able to get a lot of good work in.
00:06We had a good two hours and 15 or so.
00:08Everyone seemed to stay pretty healthy here and there.
00:11A couple of nicks and bruises, but I don't think anything really significant.
00:16And then I would say, all together it was good work
00:22with a lot of work that we need to do to get better.
00:25But it was fun to see all the new bodies and working together and
00:27the offensive line having so many players out there rotating.
00:31It's fun to see all the defensive linemen rotating.
00:33Thought the quarterback stayed okay today.
00:37Day one, we can get a lot better than that.
00:40How many of those shirts did you have in there?
00:42Our whole team has them.
00:43Whose ranking is that?
00:45I don't know.
00:46Whatever ranking I saw last.
00:48Now that you're in pads today, I was watching Valdez in particular.
00:51You see him go in almost all of his battles.
00:53What do you expect from him?
00:54Yeah, he's a really good player.
00:55We're excited that he's a part of the team.
00:58That was a, we got to walk into him and
01:01he was here right before we got here as a transfer.
01:06But we obviously knew about him at the last spot and what a good player he was.
01:10So I expect him to be a major impact up front.
01:13I think he can play probably primarily the three technique but
01:17has some ability to go inside of the shade as well over the center.
01:20But he's strong, he's powerful, and he's an extremely good worker.
01:25I know that you've got so many new guys in practice is important, but
01:29how much extra time do you find yourself on watching film of the practices?
01:32Because there's so many new guys.
01:35We watch, we'll start here in about 15 minutes.
01:38The whole coaching staff will go up, we'll watch it together as a group.
01:41We'll go all the way till, I think today, till 2.30.
01:45And then we'll break and then we'll watch it again with the whole team.
01:49So offense and defense separately, obviously.
01:54And then get back to it tonight if there's anything we missed.
01:57And then tomorrow is a player day off.
02:00So it gives us a chance to catch up on the practice tape.
02:03But the reason why we watch it together is it's a great way to see the players,
02:09evaluate the players, and hear the coaches' perspectives of the defensive coaches.
02:14Primarily really helps me hearing what we're asking these guys to do and
02:18what they're doing.
02:19So it's a great way to hear what we're asking these guys to do.
02:23And it's a great way to hear what we're asking these guys to do.
02:26And it's a great way to hear what we're asking these guys to do.
02:28And it's a great way to hear what we're asking these guys to do.
02:31And it's a great way to hear what we're asking these guys to do.
02:33And it's a great way to hear what we're asking these guys to do.
02:35And it's a great way to hear what we're asking these guys to do.
02:38And it's a great way to hear what we're asking these guys to do.
02:40And it's a great way to hear what we're asking these guys to do.
02:42And it's a great way to hear what we're asking these guys to do.
