00:00We're here with Dulcey and Grace on Moss Street. Guys, tell us a little bit about your petition
00:05so you've had a problem here on Moss Street with speeding cars.
00:09Our mum used to walk up and down each other's houses and now we're going to have to walk
00:18up and down. It's a bit too dangerous for us to walk up and down and feel safe. So we've
00:26started this petition to hopefully get the council to notice us and do something about
00:30the speeding.
00:31What are your aims with the petition when you hand it in to Richard Lockhart and the
00:35council?
00:36Hopefully get speed bumps or anything like that. Patra, traffic lights, just something
00:43that will hopefully stop the speed.
00:46Is there a particular time of day that you notice that the speeding is worse?
00:51Early evening.
00:55And have you noticed it getting worse progressively over the last couple of years?
00:59Yeah, definitely. It wasn't so much of a problem when we were younger and our mum used to walk
01:06us but it's just passed maybe three or four years.
01:09And have you had help with the petition? You've been going round knocking on doors and I understand
01:13you've got 67 signatures so far?
01:16We haven't finished all houses quite yet but everybody's been positive about it and have
01:21signed it.
