00:00The way the Yankees have suddenly come alive in these last few days, they took the series
00:10in Boston, they swept the Phillies today, they've won five in a row, Jazz, you already
00:18heard the home runs from last night, I mean he had four home runs in three games, he had
00:24a hit today, scored a run today, he's done something every single day, what do you think
00:29of what he's injected into that lineup and into that defense, he was making plays at
00:34third base, he's never played third, but he was making sweeping throws across the diamond
00:39last night and I think he's just been awesome and he's having so much fun, for me it's enjoyable
00:46just to watch someone finally on that team have a personality, he reminds me of Mickey
00:50Rivers.
00:52That's a great call, Mickey Rivers, there's a name from the past, I love that one, he
00:56just needs that one batting glove flapping out his back pocket, but no, he's been phenomenal,
01:03you could not ask for a better start than Jazz Chisholm has had with the Yankees, and
01:08I think a couple things, you're right, he's injected a lot of enthusiasm and energy into
01:12that lineup, I think being out of Miami, I don't care if you're 22 years old, 26 years
01:19old, 30 years old, when you're playing in a dead ass town for baseball, where the team
01:26literally started trading away players like opening week, they traded Luis Arias to the
01:32Padres in opening week, the Marlins are signaling white flag wave, we're not even trying this
01:39year, so I mean you got like Jazz Chisholm, that's an awful long way to go, when your
01:46team's given up, you're not drawing fans, and oh my gosh, being traded to the Yankees,
01:52he's loving the spotlight, the attention, and the competition, and it's going to bring
01:56out the best in him, and I think he's brought out the best in the Yankees in his first couple
02:01of games, I mean, sweeping the Phillies, you know, they're one of the two or three best
02:04teams in the majors, and that's impressive, and you know, Yankees are, I think through
02:08that mid-season slump, you know, Giancarlo Stanton's back, you know, from the injured
02:12list, they still are missing Anthony Rizzo, but Chisholm has been a remarkable add these
02:19last couple of days.
