00:00The teachers are not allowed to enter a school unless there is an agreement between the residents and the students of the two schools in the area.

00:20These teachers of Pangarap High School stayed outside Pangarap Village for more than an hour yesterday.

00:26They are not allowed to enter the school because they are not residents of the village even if their school is inside.

00:34This is part of the new rule of the village that the students who live outside the compound are allowed to move to another school.

00:42If the teacher is not a resident of the compound, they will only be allowed to enter the school if a barangay official approves.

00:49Inside Pangarap Village, you can find Pangarap High School and Pangarap Elementary School that can accommodate up to 3,000 students.

00:56But the newest policy issued by Pangarap Village is that more than 100 students will not be allowed to enter the school.

01:11But according to the leadership of Pangarap Elementary School,

01:19those who live in the open area will be able to go to the nearby schools.

01:26Besides, the school is not that big to accommodate a large enrollment.

01:33The children are also poor.

01:36When we accommodate them, we don't have minerals and there is no electricity inside.

01:41We only rely on solar.

01:43For a long time, there has been a land dispute between the residents and a land developer who said that they already received a ruling from the Supreme Court.

01:51We tried to ask for permission from the leadership of Pangarap Village, but they did not allow us to enter.

01:56In a social media post by DepEd Kalookan, it said that it will continue to serve and provide quality education to Pangarap Elementary School and Pangarap High School

02:05for the students who live inside the compound.

02:08The only message it sent was that all necessary documents and reports of the two schools have already been submitted.

02:15Education Secretary Sonny Angara also said that the whole situation is being investigated to help the students who will lose their education.
