00:11price of a concert ticket has gone up from around £50 before the pandemic to at least

00:17£65 in 2023. Fans of espresso singer Sabrina Carpenter took to social media recently outraged

00:24by the prices for her most recent tour. Some fans took to X to say that ticket prices to

00:29see the singer had almost quadrupled since the last time Carpenter toured the UK in 2023.

00:35Singer Billie Eilish has also faced backlash over tour ticket prices after it was revealed

00:39that prices to her 2025 Hit Me Hard and Soft tour for Standing were being sold for £145

00:45each. But Matt Hanna, booking agent at Runway, said the increase is partially due to increasing

00:52demand. He went on to say that, quote, we're seeing a lot more stadium shows, greenfield,

00:57outdoor festival type shows, which are now a staple of towns around the country.
