00:00Good morning to all of you, and here is the time, today is the last day of the month of July, Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
00:10In our latest satellite images, we can still see the continuous heat of the southwest monsoon,
00:15particularly in the northern and central part of Luzon,
00:20even though we can see that the southwest monsoon is already weakening.
00:24This will bring more thunderstorms in the northern part of Luzon,
00:29while the southern part of the country will continue to experience heavy rains, lightning and thunderstorms.
00:35Notice that in the northeastern part of the country, there is almost no cloud,
00:40there is a high-pressure area.
00:42That's why our countrymen, especially in the Cagayan Valley region,
00:45we expect that the weather will be hot in the afternoon,
00:48but it is still possible for thunderstorms to occur in the afternoon and evening.
00:52It is also possible for heavy rains to occur in Visayas and Mindanao.
00:58At the moment, we are not monitoring any low-pressure areas.
01:02Possibly, until the weekend, there is a small chance of thunderstorms.

01:22This July, two thunderstorms were recorded in the Philippine Area of Responsibility,
01:28the Bochoy and Carina thunderstorms.
01:30While in August, we expect that two or three thunderstorms will occur
01:36in the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
01:40Here is the weather forecast for Luzon.
01:42We can see that a large part of Luzon will experience isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
