Don't know what to do with your Christmas tree? Donate it to hungry goats  A Midwest-based nonprofit has a pretty unique and eco-friendly solution: Donate it to hungry goats. Urban Growers Collective is accepting any decoration-free pine Christmas trees at its farm in Chicago, Illinois.   The farm currently has 9 Nigerian Pygmy goats who love eating the bark, branches and needles off of Christmas trees.   Pine Christmas trees are a nutritious snack for goats, packed with vitamins A and C, according to Urban Growers Collective. Farm Ambassador Mykele Deville told Reuters, "It helps their digestive tract. 01:20Where do you drop it? You don't want to just kind of put it outside.

02:04Right now we're feeding them hay

02:08the hay could get boring around this time of year.

02:10So definitely the pine trees

02:12are going to be a nice treat for them.

02:38It helps their digestive tract.

02:40It helps them to avoid parasites.

02:42And it's a way of getting rid

02:44of your Christmas tree

02:46and keeping your conscience clean

02:48so you're not littering or throwing it away.

03:26from the harsh cold.

03:28It even freshens their breath

03:30so it doesn't smell so much back here.

03:48They like to scratch on things, stuff like that.
