Cebu LGU gives financial aid to 2 Cebuano weightlifters competing in 2024 Paris Olympics

00:00Meanwhile, the Cebu City Local Government Unit, or LGU, gives financial assistance for
00:05Cebuano athletes Elrin Rando and John Febuar Ceniza, who are competing in the Paris Olympics

00:14Each athlete will receive 200,000 pesos delivered by Acting Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia and members
00:21of the Cebu City Council.
00:23Since Ando and Ceniza are already in France, their families receive the funds on their
00:28behalf.
00:29The LGU hopes the support will encourage more Cebuano athletes to strive for excellence.
