00:00Hey man, just how much of a lasting memory is he left on your Minnesota program?
00:03He's a special young man. I mean, the way he developed while he was with our program was
00:08inspiring. Not just as a person, but as a player. He could rush the passer, he could stop the run,
00:14he was a very selfless player. You look back to his year, he rotated. You know, you look back to
00:20his last two years, he was rotating in with Thomas Rush. And I mean, sharing time down the middle.
00:25And we had a great defense. And those guys would play 32, 34 total snaps in a game. I mean,
00:31there were times we were getting under 40 snaps a game on defense. They were never in my office
00:36saying, you know what, I need more reps. Ever. They loved that the team was having success. We
00:41had one of the best defenses in the country. And he could really get after the passer.
00:45And he's doing it right now with the Seahawks.
00:47Last one for me, call back to my Moffat question. Is there a specific memory or kind of one
00:52moment that stands out in your time with him at Minnesota?
00:55I have a lot of memories of Boye. I really do. I think that when there's a picture of my office,
01:02and it's of him and Thomas Rush jumping in the air and clenching like their elbows. And to me,
01:09that's an ultimate selfless photo because that's who had a split time. And in the portal world,
01:14they could end up leaving or transferring or going somewhere else. And they stayed together
01:17to make each other better. And to me, that's just what Boye is all about. That's that teammate
01:23leadership piece that Boye always was. And I have a ton of memories, but on top of my head,
01:28that's the one that I see every day that I walk in my office.
