00:00What has he been like around the facilities and just what is his approach been like?
00:05Well, I mean, I'll know more about him as time goes on.
00:08He's definitely an interesting character, definitely got a couple screws loose,
00:11definitely a defensive-minded coach, so it should be a fun year.
00:14We're excited for it.
00:15Did you have a relationship with Scott Huff,
00:17given that you had some slight interest from Washington?
00:20I'm not sure if there was ever a formal office.
00:22So he was at Boise State when I was there or when I was up and coming out of high school,
00:26and I guess he had recruited me years ago.
00:28I don't remember. It was a long time ago.
00:30So I guess we kind of had that small little connection from beforehand.
00:34How different has the vibe been around the VMAC, obviously, with the fresh start?
00:37Basically, the roster is pretty much the same.
00:39Has the vibe been any different? How would you describe it?
00:42Oh, yeah. I mean, it's new. It's fresh.
00:44So people are just – I mean, I think everybody's kind of on their edge of their seat
00:47to see how well this will work going into camp and then going into the season.
00:50What have you been helping with the young guys?
00:52Obviously, they drafted a few offensive linemen.
00:54I know you haven't been able to help them on the field,
00:56but just what have you been able to teach those guys off the field?
00:58Just trying to show them the way, I guess, football-wise, off-field-wise, financially-wise,
01:03and trying to offer what information you have.
01:06And if they take it, that's up to them.
01:08Now, when it came to playing defensive line and now playing offensive line,
01:11do you ever notice those traits kind of carrying over in your mental approach to the game?
01:16Did that kind of help you as an offensive lineman?
01:18I mean, I guess kind of.
01:21They're both very different positions, right?
01:24But the mentality is kind of still the same as far as doing your job to the best of your ability.
