00:07Now, assume that you earn 10 rupees.
00:09Out of that, you give 3 to 3.5 rupees through income tax.
00:132 rupees, 2.5 rupees, GST sucks you.
00:162 rupees, your capital gain tax is imposed.
00:19Cess surcharges are imposed for 1 to 1.5 rupees.
00:21So, out of just 10 rupees, 7 to 8 rupees goes to the government treasury.
00:25So, what does the common man get?
00:28And what does the government give us in return for the tax that we pay?
00:32What international services, world-class healthcare, education, transport services does the government give in return to the common man?
00:41This is what I want to ask.
00:42That is why, I am not at all offended to say that we in India today pay taxes like England to get services like Somalia.
00:50Sir, more than 60% of India's population lives in villages.
