00:05It touches upon some very critical facets in the economy.
00:12And it has brought in a lot of investments into a number of sectors,
00:19right from agriculture, manufacturing to services, to unlock the potential.
00:23It is focused on continued trust on public CAPEX.
00:27It has focused on very important areas like agriculture, MSME, skilling, employment.
00:33A lot of focus on ease of doing business.
00:38A lot of areas are getting simplified.
00:41The Honourable Finance Minister has also spoken about comprehensive review of legislation to simplify it.
00:49I think all on a very strong signal for greater ease of doing business.
00:55And a very strong signal to bring in reforms at the state level also.
01:05And very importantly, a comprehensive paper on the next generation reforms.
01:11To look at all the factor costs.
01:13I think these are some very important, very strong statements.
01:16Very strong announcements have been made.
01:19And it touches upon many of the areas that have come in the form of suggestions from members of what CII has presented.
01:28And it's a very positive message for the industry and for all stakeholders in the economy.
01:37All in all, an extremely good budget.
01:39A lot of investments.
01:40And yet, fiscal glide path being better than what anybody had anticipated at 4.9%.
01:48So it's indeed a very commendable budget.
01:50Let us take the specifics separately.
