Transcript
00:00Instead of being a back-to-school activity, it became a relief operations activity at San Tonino Elementary School in Marikina earlier.
00:07This was followed by the storm Karina and Habagat, where Marikina City is one of the most affected areas.
00:15The Senate Spouses Foundation, Inc. led the distribution of relief goods to more than 2,006 individuals.
00:24Relief operations included SSFI President Heart Evangelista Escudero, Kat Pimentel, Emeline Villar, Nancy De La Rosa, and several officials of the Marikina City Government.
00:36Some of the recipients were given rice, canned goods, bread, vitamins, hygiene kits, and kitchen utensils.
00:44The organization also provided garbage and house cleaners that can be used to remove dust from or left behind by the flood.
00:54It was a big help to us, especially when we were swept away.
00:59All Filipinos, when it comes to this kind of situation, we are here. So it's only right that we are here.
