00:00Talking about Strictly had to come up and I couldn't stay silent on it because it would have been really weird
00:05Because obviously there is a complaint
00:08but I felt I had to speak up because I just I
00:14don't want people to be frightened of
00:17speaking out if they're being bullied or if they feel they're in a
00:20difficult situation or if they feel that they're not being heard and and so
00:24You know, I was doing publicity for the play people asked me about Strictly
00:28I thought well, I'm not gonna you know, there are there are things I can't talk about obviously and I'm I'm I'm honoring the complaint
00:35I'm not speaking out of turn. I'm not saying anything specific that happened
00:40But I I do feel I have the right to say it wasn't
00:44It was a toxic environment that I was in while I was rehearsing
00:50Because it was you know, I know what happened in that room and I don't think it's
00:54You know, it would be it would be remiss of me if I was to just say
00:58It's fine. You know, I don't talk about it, but
01:00It's important that women and men because men get bullied as well
01:05It's important that women feel they are in a safe space where they can stand up and go this is
