00:40How was your competition and journey?
00:47We feel so blessed.
00:49We feel so blessed for winning.
00:53We feel even more blessed because we received a lot of support throughout our competition journey.
01:05From our families, our friends, and even the Filipino community in SG,
01:13we went through a lot, especially financially.
01:18It's not easy to compete internationally, especially in SG, Singapore.

01:35Last 2020, you visited RSV because you won the Philippines-Korea Cultural Exchange Festival Online Talent Competition.
01:47Now, you have more achievements.
01:50How do you prepare for the competition?
01:55We have to condition ourselves, of course, by selecting the right songs that will showcase the sound of our group
02:04and showcase the Filipino talent.
02:07Then comes the arrangement. One of our members will arrange for us.
02:12After that, we will practice for a long time.
02:18We will add revisions along the way.
02:21Then, internalization. Internalization plays a big part.
02:26Singing alone won't get us far.
02:30We have to internalize the music and be creative so we can get into character and shape our sound the way we want it.
02:38What are the struggles or challenges of being in an acapella group?
02:46Some might think it's easy.
02:48But there are a lot of rehearsals and practices that are done in harmony.
02:58It's hard, especially when you're in a group.
03:02You would deal with different kinds of voices and personalities.
03:08But that's what makes it unique.
03:10You get to share your talent with different people.
03:14You create a collective output and create unity within diversity.
03:19Acapella is not mainstream.
03:23That's why we aim to perform on a bigger stage so that we can showcase our talent.
03:29With our voice, may we reach thousands of people.

03:50On your end, what is the uniqueness of your group?
03:54Why should we continue to listen to your music and go to the big stage?
04:00Our arranger is our tenor one, James Conde.

04:10What I like about James is that he listens to us.
04:18He's open to ideas outside his perspective.
04:22The arrangement is personalized just for our group.
04:27That's why it's unique.
04:29Unlike other groups, like Required,

04:37In Acapella, in our group, the parts are individual.
04:42We have no room for mistakes.
04:44That's the hard part.

05:43Our advice, based on experience, is to communicate.
05:50Voice out your concerns, voice out your dreams and wants for the group.
05:55So that you'll always be on the same page.
