00:00Nine days from the Hall of Fame game.
00:05Next Thursday night, we have our first football game, and the following week, everybody will
00:10be in action in preseason, and before we know it, kickoff will be here.
00:15I've started to put my bets in, Scott.
00:17I've been really clicking a lot of college football and focusing in on college.
00:20There's 134 teams in college football.
00:23It's harder to get caught up to date.
00:25NFL, we all know who's on the team, and for the most part, it doesn't mean there's not
00:29research to be done, but we've been talking a lot, Scott, about who the worst team in
00:33the National Football League is going to be on SportsRage, and the New England Patriots
00:39just seem to be the consensus choice, and I have a hard time disagreeing with this.
00:43It's plus 400.
00:44It's pretty good odds, like honestly.
00:47Like Carolina won two games last year, and we know Carolina have a lot of work to do.
00:52I like their new coach.
00:54I think Carolina will be a better football team this year.
00:57Their win total is five and a half, Scott.
00:58I don't think they're going to get to six, but I think Carolina will be better and, you
01:03know, win three, four football games this year, and I'm not sure they'll be the worst
01:08team.
01:09If you look at the New England Patriots schedule, and you look at the, you know, yeah, the Patriots
01:12defense is pretty good, but they're going to be on the field a lot.
01:16They're going to be hard-pressed to win more than like three games, I think, this Patriots
01:20team, Scott, so I think that's a very good bet, actually.
01:23The New England Patriots to have the worst regular season record, plus 400, and Drake,
01:33you know what?
01:34I think Denver are going to be really bad, Scott.
01:36I think you and I agree with this.
01:38We disagree on some football topics on Sundays, but I think you and I agree with this.
01:42Sean Payton's done, bro.
01:45Players don't like him.
01:46He's just kind of a, it's always everybody else's fault.
01:50You think Bo Nix is better than Russell Wilson?
01:52Okay, good luck with that, coach.
01:54Okay, fine.
01:55Bo Nix, really?
01:57Bo Nix was a decent, called quarterback, because the kid played 66 games, Scott.
02:02He's okay.
02:03There's not like this big upside.
02:05Denver have zero talent.
02:07Like I'm with you.
02:08Listen, I think Denver are the worst team in that division.
02:10I think Denver are going to go under their win total, but I don't think they're going
02:15to be worse than the New England Patriots are.
02:18Like the Patriots are going to have a hard, hard time winning football games, Scott.
02:21If you look at the Patriots, and listen, I hate when people talk about strength of schedule
02:25and stuff, because a lot of people don't understand strength of schedule.
02:28People often, the media and websites and everybody, they'll write an article about what the team's
02:33winning records were last year.
02:35The real strength of schedule is what the win projections are for the upcoming year.
02:40What's the win totals of the teams?
02:42But the fact is, Scott, everybody in the NFL plays everybody in the NFL.
02:46Everybody's got a tough schedule.
02:51So, I don't know.
