Six-fold increase in number held at detention centre

Questions have been raised about the future of the Nauru Detention Centre with new figures showing the number of refugees being held there has increased six-fold in six months. The Albanese government is being urged to improve processing times and prevent asylum seekers being left in Nauru for years.
