14 Immigration counters added at KLIA
Fourteen new Immigration counters were added at the arrival checkpoints of the KL International Airport (KLIA) in anticipation of a rise in the entry of foreign tourists under the recently announced visa liberalisation programme.
Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said with the additional counters, there are now a total of 60 which would help ease congestion.

04:33 because they don't have a digital arrival card to Singapore, but if they have a social passport, like usual, they will get a digital one.
04:40 But for us, all Singaporeans, not only those who enter Johor, but for all of us, if Singapore is the Penang Island, or KLA, we will give them an exemption.
04:51 Who else do we give an exemption? Diplomatic and official passport holders. Then, permanent resident of Malaysia and passport holders of the length of Malaysia.
05:05 For Brunei, there are two categories, GCI and Frequent Traveller Facility holders.
05:21 We have a unique one, Frequent Traveller, we have a passport holder, that is also given an exemption.
05:29 In the northern border, in Thailand, this is for example, a commercial vehicle that brings in food supplies.
05:39 We have our food supplies, fish and vegetables that we bring from Thailand, and this is daily.
05:46 So, that is also a passport holder in Thailand, we give an exemption.
05:52 And one more, the border crossing passport holder, Indonesia, this is the entry gate.
05:59 What we do is, we liberalise the visa, the aim is to boost the tourism sector, so that it is not complicated through the visa process,
06:10 but the element of control is that we introduce a digital arrival card.
