00:23After a long time, the Philippines experienced the El Niño Phenomenon again.
00:34Farmers and fishermen were affected by the calamity.
00:41We are in great loss because we did not harvest.

01:07The Presidential Assistance to Farmers, Fisherfolk, and Families Program was launched in May.
01:14President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. was the first to share the assistance to farmers and fishermen
01:21who were severely affected by the calamity.
01:23From Mindanao to Visayas and Luzon, the government agreed to provide assistance.
01:29You see, almost the entire force of the government is facing you right now.
01:36For me, it is not enough to just read the messages of those who are facing you.
01:44Under the program, farmers and fishermen received various assistance
01:49including financial assistance, farm machinery and equipment,
01:54and other assistance from various government agencies
01:57such as livelihood assistance, trainings, and others.

02:04The entire country will enjoy the programs that we have launched.
02:10The local government will not sleep in Malacanang.

02:18Until July 12, the amount of assistance that will be distributed under the PAF program
02:23will reach 1.8 billion pesos.
02:27More than 150,000 farmers and fishermen received assistance until July 8.

02:44I have a son who is studying to add to their allowance because I have two colleges.

03:02Just this week, the President visited Palawan, Apayaw, Romblon, Pangasinan, and other places
03:08to continue the PAF program,
03:11which is a real effort of the government to the people in need.
