00:06And the three-day PNP gun ban will be implemented in the entire Metro Manila, which is still under SONA.

00:17The Philippine National Police is 100% ready for the third State of the Nation Address or SONA of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Monday.

00:28The PNP did not make a fuss.

00:31Other government agencies are happy even though there is no serious threat to security.

00:38We think there is always a threat because no one should relax.

00:43We are always 100% prepared.

00:46Whether there is a threat or not, we are 100% prepared.

00:50The PNP will also implement the three-day gun ban from the evening of July 20 to July 22 in the entire Metro Manila.

00:59There will be additional deployment from the augmentations in the nearby regions,

01:05such as the Police Regional Office, Calabarzon, where the PNP Chief Police General, Romel Francisco Marbil,

01:14This is to ensure that the other duties of the PNP will not be neglected even if they are in SONA,

01:22along with the activation of the Task Force Manila Shield.

01:26We are still called the Reserve Standby Force.

01:29Even in D-Day, there will be a need for additional deployment.

01:34We have readily available PNP personnel, particularly coming from Region 3 and Calabarzon.

01:42The PNP is not only monitoring SONA.

01:46Maybe they are saying that all of us are focused on SONA.

01:49We will neglect our regular deployment to the police and mobile patrols.

01:55Two groups have also applied for a permit to conduct activities in SONA.

02:00As before, the anti- and pro-government groups will be separated,

02:05which will really be a place for their program, especially the No Rally Zone, the entire Commonwealth Avenue.

02:12If they will really insist on that, they will only be there in Tandan Soka.

02:17And those pro-government groups who also signified their intention to rally,

02:23we will force them to stop, at least they will only be there in the Maykoa area.

02:31So we will not force them to stop so that tensions can be avoided on both sides.

02:37Meanwhile, here are the alternative routes for SONA according to the MMDA.

02:43On the northbound from Elliptical Road, you can pass through North Avenue,

02:48right on Mindanao Avenue, and right again on Sauyo Road.

02:52Or you can take the Kirino Highway to your destination.

02:57On the southbound from Commonwealth Avenue, you can pass through Sauyo Road or Kirino Highway,

03:04left on Mindanao Avenue, and left again on North Avenue to your destination.
