00:00But, just speaking completely apolitically, I just want to put an exclamation point on
00:06what you just said, Senator Lee, because the use of our courts to go after political opponents,
00:11yes, that has political ramifications.
00:13It might be helping the Democrat Party or hurting the Democrat Party.
00:16But what it does to the country is, it's just, there's no way you can defend using courts
00:22to go after political opponents.
00:24It's what we associate with the Soviet Union, with Venezuela, with third world countries.
00:29Not our country.
00:31And it's not just Jack Smith, who is under Joe Biden's authority, who is doing this.
00:37But really, there are municipalities and places throughout the country that are using courts
00:42to settle political differences.
00:44And I do think that if people truly want to preserve the republic and tone down, lower
00:51the temperature, they would immediately, as in by the end of today, stop all of those
00:57cases.
00:58Immediately.
00:59Immediately.
01:00And in fact, just a few weeks ago, my wife Sharon and I were in a couple of Latin American
01:07countries.
01:08And in both countries, we heard from their leaders, this is not the sort of thing we
01:15expect from the United States.
01:17And it's the sort of thing that if we did, we would expect to be sanctioned by the United
01:22States for doing what was just done to President Trump.
01:28And the other thing they said, one of the, the head of state, this is a private conversation
01:32so I'm not going to communicate exactly who it was, but he said, look, we are supposed
01:39to be following your lead, not you following our lead.
01:43And that's what's happened.
