00:00Karen, you obviously covered Gerard Mayo as a player, as an assistant coach, and now for
00:05six months or so as a head coach.
00:09Do you believe in everything that is Gerard Mayo, whether it's the mural at Gillette Stadium,
00:15the silos being torn down?
00:18Do you think there is buy-in and do you think that Gerard Mayo is going to be a success
00:23and a relatively quick success as a head coach?
00:28Well, I do.
00:29I mean, you definitely get the sense, or at least I've gotten the sense, you know, being
00:35around the early practices and the mini-camp.
00:38And the players themselves tell you about the vibe is really different.
00:45And you know, whether not being on edge, you know, whether not being ruled by, you know,
00:54kind of an old school coach, it remains to be seen if that, if how, you know, Gerard's
01:02approach is going to produce results or not.
01:06Ultimately, you have to have talent to win games.
01:11I think a coach, a really good coach can perhaps squeeze out a few more wins, but ultimately
01:19it's talent that wins on the field.
01:22So, but that being said, I really do think Gerard has all the ingredients in today's
01:30day and age to be a very good coach.
