00:00The recognized symbol of excellence in sports entertainment.
00:05Welcome to the World Wrestling Federation's Superstars of Wrestling.
00:13Hello everyone, this is Vince McMahon at ringside along with wrestling's living legend Bruno Sammartino.
00:18Joining us as well with his color commentary, Jesse the Body of Endurance.
00:23Fasten your seatbelt, we're ready to take off.
00:30This week on the Superstars of Wrestling as promised, yes indeed we are going to have
00:59The Machine squaring off against the awesome tag team force of King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd.
01:05What a matchup that will be.
01:07Lou Albano's last match as an active manager.
01:10And in Rowdy Roddy Piper's pit, that man, World Wrestling Federation Champion Hulk Hogan.
01:15Plus this week, the Magnificent Rocko teaming up with Cowboy Bob Orton in a tag team matchup.
01:21And speaking of tag teams, the Hart Foundation will join us.
01:25All of that and more.
01:28Right now, let's go up to ringside.
01:31Introducing in the ring to my right, from Hearts Unknown, weighing 243 pounds, The Clown.
01:43His partner, from the fabulous Las Vegas Navajo, at 241 pounds, Barry O.
01:53And their opponents, to be headed towards the ring, from the South Pacific, at a total combined weight of 502 pounds,
02:08Haku and Tama, The Islanders.
02:14There is Tama.
02:17And behind him, Haku, they are The Islanders.
02:21And they are, without a doubt, one of the most exciting tag team combinations in the World Wrestling Federation today.
02:29Oh, this is going to be a hot tag team match, big man.
02:31But I got a question.
02:32Is Albano a man of his word?
02:35Honestly, he's going to retire.
02:37This is it.
02:38We will see Captain Luis Albano as an active manager for the very last time this week.
02:43And I'm sure the machines, as you well know...
02:46My day is already brighter, knowing that you...
02:49He's verified that now, that's in writing, that's a promise, McMahon.
02:53Mr. Albano has other tasks that he wants to take on.
02:58Other mountains to climb.
03:01Valleys to crawl into.
03:04Oh, come on now, Jess.
03:05He has been a credit to the World Wrestling Federation.
03:09Into the rope, Berrio.
03:12And Haku backed off.
03:13Look at Berrio with that right hand, standing side headlock.
03:16And a whip to the rope, back at Big Haku.
03:19Behind now, Berrio to the far side.
03:22Missing with a roundhouse right.
03:24Leapfrog, Berrio, right back at dropkick.
03:28Now, that's a big man at what?
03:29About 287, getting up like that.
03:31Hey, I'll tell you, I'm impressed, and I don't impress easy, McMahon.
03:34He got up into the air, and he weighs about, like you said, 280.
03:38Whoa, double headbutt.
03:40Now, referee Hebner should not be allowing that to go on in there, McMahon.
03:45There's only one man in there now.
03:48Oh, now it's okay, all right.
03:51Tomlin to the far side.
03:52Leapfrog, Tomlin now with the gladiator.
03:54Clothesline, down goes the gladiator.
04:01And Tama with the gladiator.
04:04More punishment done to the neck area.
04:07Elbow to the sternum.
04:11The Islanders, Haku and Tama, they are a perpetual motion.
04:14That they are.
04:16They combine both size and strength on the speed.
04:20Wow.
04:21And a little bit of double teaming.
04:23Yeah.
04:24Now, how anyone can wrestle barefoot, though, is beyond me.
04:28Look at that maneuver.
04:31People do a lot of things barefooted.
04:33Of course, then again, McMahon, looking at the shoes you're wearing,
04:36I could see why people would go barefoot.
04:41Off the rope now.
04:42Look at that maneuver by Big Haku.
04:46I think he can go for the cover now.
04:49Haku with the gladiator in there.
04:51Holds him up.
04:52Ooh, rims the knee to the rib area.
04:56Tag is made for Tama.
04:59What is this now?
05:01Another slam by Haku.
05:02Very slow with that.
05:05Forget about it.
05:10The three count.
05:11No one is going to get up after receiving a blow like that.
05:15I'll agree with you on that.
05:16You'll get no argument from me.
05:18All right, let's go back to the replay now.
05:20Here we go, Bruno.
05:21This is spectacular.
05:22Here we see Haku slamming the gladiator.
05:24Now, look at this.
05:25Here comes Tama from the top rope.
05:27What a phenomenal splash.
05:29Actually sprung off the top rope, came down full weight,
05:31and, of course, the gladiator is really pinned onto that mat.
05:36Haku and Tama, we're going to be seeing quite a bit more of them, I believe,
05:39in the weeks to come.
05:41Stand by, everyone.
05:42Schedule to come at you.
05:43Go to water skiing.
05:44It took place this summer.
05:46It's the Update with Gene Oakerlin,
05:47the subject of his update for Rougeau Brothers.
05:52With the latest from the World Wrestling Federation,
05:54here's Gene Oakerlin.
06:03As documented in the latest issue of the World Wrestling Federation magazine,
06:07on page 56, the ruggedly handsome Jacques and Ramon Rougeau are not only
06:12great scientific wrestlers, but also avid outdoorsmen.
06:16They're pilots, fishermen, hunters, and boaters,
06:19most of which they do in their native Canada.
06:21Although they fish for sharks and scuba dive in Florida waters,
06:24the Rougeaus are also busy wrestling here on the World Wrestling Federation.
06:29Recently, we caught up with them water skiing on the St. Lawrence Seaway.
06:34The Rougeau Brothers are extremely close, both in and out of the ring,
06:57and obviously they do everything as a team,
07:00perhaps one of the best in wrestling today.
07:02For Update, I'm Gene Oakerlin.
07:12Ice capades, welcome.
07:13Last week, ladies and gentlemen,
07:14Jesse Ventura spoke with a honky-tonk man about, well,
07:18the way the fans were reacting to him,
07:20and the honky-tonk man asked for a vote of confidence from you.
07:23Here's a little bit of that conversation.
07:26You know, when my music plays, Jesse,
07:28people should be standing up screaming and shouting.
07:30They should be dancing in the aisles right now.
07:32They should be shake rattling and rolling, but they're not doing it,
07:35and I don't understand it because I've done everything a man can do
07:37to make the people in the World Wrestling Federation appreciate good talent,
07:41and I don't understand.
07:42I'm looking for something.
07:43I don't know what I need.
07:44Maybe I need a sign from somewhere.
07:46A vote of confidence or something.
07:47A vote of confidence is just what the honky-tonk man needs.
07:50I need it real bad.
07:52All right, so for the benefit of those of you who would like to vote
07:54for honky-tonk man, either yay or nay,
07:57you either like his style or you don't like his style,
07:59you may do so by simply casting your vote to honky-tonk man.
08:03A vote of confidence, P.O. Box 1334, Stanford, Connecticut, 06904.
08:09Have you cast your vote yet, Jesse?
08:11I don't need to vote, McMahon.
08:13All right.
08:17What's that?
08:18In the ring tomorrow from Millbrook, Connecticut, weighing 232 pounds,
08:23Mario Mancini.
08:27I'm not a big stockholder of grill cream, McMahon.
08:29His opponent will be led towards the ring by his manager,
08:32the Doctor of Style, Slick.
08:36Hailing from Kansas City, Missouri,
08:39weighing 255 pounds,
08:43the Natural Butch Reed.
08:49The Natural Butch Reed.
08:51This man certainly thinks he's a natural, no doubt of that.
08:55As a matter of fact, we spoke to Butch Reed earlier on,
08:58and he was extolling his natural values.
09:03Let's take you to the conversation we had with Butch Reed.
09:06Butch Reed, the natural.
09:08The natural at his finest.
09:10When I walk, it's natural.
09:11When I talk, it's natural.
09:13When I wrestle, it's natural.
09:15Everything is natural.
09:19All right, Reed locking back up now.
09:23Go to work, Owen, go to work.
09:25Clean break, no.
09:27You know, that's something Bruno Yust won't see with Butch Reed.
09:30I don't know if he's impressed you or not, but you see very few clean breaks.
09:33Here's a man who does have natural ability.
09:36I'm not so sure about his hairstyle, but he has natural ability,
09:39but yet he won't show you the natural ability and use it in a proper fashion.
09:43Which is unfortunate because that's absolutely true.
09:45He's a strong man. He's very quick.
09:47A very, very talented wrestler, but look at him.
09:49He goes to that ring, and he's vicious.
09:51He uses all the illegal tactics possible.
09:54He's very successful, but he could be successful, I believe,
09:57if he went in there and won that boarding school world.
09:59I think maybe he's a natural cheat, Jesse.
10:02You know, you guys just kill me.
10:05The jealousy you show of success.
10:09You know, I mean, Bruno can sit back here now.
10:12He's supposedly the living legend,
10:15so he can criticize how other people wrestle.
10:19I don't like that out of him.
10:21What gives San Martino the right to call himself a living legend?
10:25That was certainly something that Bruno does not call himself
10:29that the fans throughout the years have called Bruno San Martino.
10:32Let's get a little bit more specific.
10:35What gives you the right to call yourself the body?
10:38Look at me.
10:39That's what I mean.
10:40I'm Hollywood personified, McMahon,
10:43especially with my new hairdo.
10:45Well, in the ring right now,
10:47that's something other than naturalness personified.
10:50Hey, Butch Reed has natural hair. So do I.
10:53He don't know where he is.
10:55I don't believe that's natural hair.
10:57Turn out the lights, baby.
10:59Turn out the lights.
11:02We heard Slick in the background.
11:04And there in the foreground is...
11:08Yes, sir. That's the natural.
11:10This guy spends a lot of time at the beach,
11:13you can tell by the hair and the suntan.
11:15High-fiver Slick at the natural.
11:17The winner of this contest,
11:19the natural Butch Reed.
11:25Good look at the natural.
11:26We'll take you back now to the replay
11:29and take a look at Butch Reed polishing off his opponent.
11:33Watch this close liner from that top rope, from that second rope.
11:36I mean, he leaps, he comes in with all his weight,
11:39and he really catches Mancini in the upper chest
11:41and drives him down that mat.
11:42No contest.
11:44Natural is something else.
11:45And he did it all legally.
11:47Yeah.
11:48There's always something happening in the World Wrestling Federation.
11:50Let's spread the word a little bit of it right now.
11:53Boston Garden, Saturday night, December the 6th.
11:56The battle for the bragging rights of Texas.
11:58Black Jack Mulligan against Jimmy Jack Funk.
12:00The Rougeaux, Jacques Rameau,
12:02against the U.S. Express microtunnel golden boy Danny Spivey.
12:05The midgets are on the card.
12:06Pedro Morales against the King Harley Race.
12:09The Islanders.
12:10Haku and Tama against the Dream Team.
12:11Greg the Hammer Valentine and Brutus Beefcake.
12:13Junkyard Dog against Mr. Wonderful Paul Oindorf.
12:17And the heavyweight title on the line.
12:19Hulk Hogan against Hulk Kamala, the Ugandan headhunter.
12:23I told you before I ain't scared of no giant, man.
12:27I'm a firm believer, Boston,
12:29in the fact that you got to get your rear end kicked a few times
12:33before you know how to fight, man.
12:35And I'd like to thank Mr. Wonderful Paul Oindorf
12:38for putting me in this state of mind.
12:40My number one objective.
12:42But right now I got a headhunter, man.
12:44Man or beast, I don't care, in my way.
12:47And come on, I've seen you pounding down people.
12:50I've seen the 400 pounds splashing people's bodies.
12:54And boom-shaka-laka-laka, boom-shaka-laka.
12:57When you come for me, you're coming to my jungle, brother.
13:01Because the Boston Gardens is a jungle.
13:03And I'm getting ready for the main event.
13:05It's you, Kamala.
13:07You're the meat on my menu, dude.
13:09Whether you're a giant, whether you're a headhunter,
13:13no matter what you are, for some ungodly reason,
13:17you're the number one contender.
13:19And you're right in my way, brother.
13:22Boston Gardens, you've seen me beaten.
13:25You've seen me left for dead.
13:27But now I've risen from the ashes.
13:29Mr. Wonderful on my mind.
13:31And everything that I've given to you,
13:33every time you leave, you leave with a part of me.
13:36It's time for me to start taking.
13:38I'm taking Kamala apart, piece by piece.
13:43Boston Gardens, Saturday night, December the 6th.
13:49You're on a little excursion.
13:50Some of you who watch Wrestling Challenge
13:52saw this once before,
13:53but many of you did not see it here on the superstars.
13:56So we're happy to bring it to you.
13:58George the Animal Steel on a little excursion.
14:00He was hungry, got in the back of a sedan,
14:03and wanted to order lunch.
14:04Welcome to Burger World. May I take your order, please?
14:08Yeah, let me have a burger,
14:11order of french fries, and a Coke.
14:13George, what are you going to have?
14:15Eat!
14:17George, I want to know what you're going to have.
14:19Eat!
14:21I'm sorry.
14:23What's that second order, please?
14:26Eat!
14:27George, I want to know what specific items you want to have.
14:35Sorry, I can't hear you.
14:37Uh...
14:41Eat!
14:42May I take your order, please?
14:44George, tell them what items you want.
14:47Burgers, fries, shakes.
14:50Eat!
14:51Sir, I can't hear you.
14:54I'll have to get the manager.
14:55Excuse me, I think we can settle this.
14:58Just take everything on the entire menu board
15:01and give us one of everything.
15:05Thank you. Please drive up to the window.
15:07Eat!
15:09I think perhaps, Jesse, the only proper thing to do
15:12was what was done was order one of each
15:14on the entire menu to satisfy the animal.
15:16Well, I'll tell you something, McMahon,
15:18this guy's helpless, if you ask me.
15:20Introducing, from Sunset Beach, Hawaii,
15:23weighing 267 pounds,
15:26the magnificent Morocco!
15:31His partner, from Kansas City,
15:34weighing 248 pounds,
15:37the ace cowboy, Bob Orton!
15:43Morocco and Orton entering the ring wearing kilts,
15:47and, of course, you hear the bagpipe music in the background.
15:51Morocco just dropped his kilt, wiped his feet on it.
15:54We had an occasion to talk with them earlier
15:57about why they're wearing the kilts
15:59and why they insist on the bagpipe music playing
16:03when they enter the ring.
16:05This is what Morocco and Orton had to say
16:07about our questions.
16:10You're always asking questions
16:12when the answer is so simple.
16:14Tell them, Don.
16:17Don't they know you're Bob McOrton
16:19and I'm magnificent old Morocco?
16:21I'm Morocco.
16:24Morocco.
16:26Let Jerry Allen look at Morocco.
16:29He can throw those punches.
16:32Morocco built like a bus.
16:35Whoa, and what a power body slam.
16:37Totally legal, right, Bruno?
16:38Absolutely. Absolutely.
16:40Nothing wrong with that power slam.
16:43An ace, former bodyguard,
16:46former tag team partner of Roddy Piper.
16:50No longer.
16:52Ooh, vicious slam there.
16:54Well, I'll tell you, mechanically,
16:56Morocco and Orton are awesome in that ring.
16:58Plus, they're rough and tough.
17:00That's what I like about them.
17:01They'll do what it takes to win.
17:03Look at that.
17:05Morocco in complete control,
17:08at least at the moment.
17:10Although I do wonder how this dual-managership
17:12is gonna work.
17:15You know, that brings a point to mind here,
17:17you know, with Mr. Fuji and Jimmy Hart,
17:19but apparently they're getting along outside the ring,
17:21so it must be okay.
17:23I can't see that lasting. I don't know.
17:25Seeing those two massive egos of Jimmy Hart
17:28and Mr. Fuji, Jimmy Hart with that incessant talking,
17:32Mr. Fuji mumbling in some sort of foreign gibberish,
17:36you can't understand what he's saying.
17:38I don't know. I put up with you two when we get a,
17:40you know, the broadcast get out,
17:43Well, when you put it that way, I guess you're right.
17:46Look at this.
17:48Orton and Morocco.
17:50Oh, come on, Danny.
17:52No, look at who's a referee.
17:53Danny Davis is a referee.
17:55He's not doing a thing about what's going on now.
17:58What's going on? What's the matter?
18:00Morocco and Orton have been in the ring for,
18:03what, 30 seconds, maybe a minute now, all four of them?
18:06Wait a minute, McMahon.
18:07When the British Bulldogs do that fancy double-teaming,
18:09you enjoy that.
18:11They're in and out in less than three seconds.
18:13Look.
18:14Against both of them.
18:16I've never seen anything like that.
18:17Well, that eliminates the doubt.
18:19There can be no excuses if you count them both down.
18:22That's not right.
18:23I'm not saying that Orton and Morocco
18:25are not a better tag team,
18:27but at least they could have proven it.
18:29They didn't prove it.
18:30They did prove it.
18:31They pinned both of them.
18:32What more could you prove it?
18:34McMahon pinning both of them.
18:36The winner of this bout,
18:37the Magnificent Morocco
18:39and Cowboy Bob Orton.
18:43Another first by referee Danny Davis.
18:46I hope Jack Tunney's watching this.
18:49Stand by, everybody.
18:50Something special coming at you.
18:53Boston Garden, Saturday night, December the 6th.
18:55The battle for the bragging rights of the state of Texas.
18:58Jimmy Jack Funk against Black Jack Mulligan.
19:01The Rougeaux Jacques and Raymond
19:03against the U.S. Express in what should be a classic
19:05wrestling tag team matchup.
19:06Mike Rotondo and Golden Boy Danny Spivey
19:08for young and old alike.
19:09The Midgets are on the card at tag team battle.
19:11Pedro Morales against the King Harley Race.
19:14The Islanders, Haku and Tama,
19:16against the Dream Team.
19:17Greg the Hammer Valentine and Brutus Beefcake.
19:19Hulk Hogan defends the heavyweight championship
19:22against Kamala, the Ugandan Headhunter.
19:24And it will be JYD the Junkyard Dog
19:27against Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff
19:29managed by Bobby the Brave.
19:31Boy, Boston has a history of losers.
19:35They blew it in the World Series.
19:37And now we ask for a championship match, but no.
19:40They throw the Junkyard mutt in front of us.
19:43They give Hulk Hogan Kamala,
19:45who's a very worthwhile challenger.
19:47We could be challenging Kamala for the world's belt
19:50pretty soon down the line.
19:52But our main objective is we want Hogan.
19:55And now the Junkyard Dog, we know what's happening, don't we?
19:58The dog wants to stop us.
20:00You know what it is, Bobby.
20:02Just like it's been all along.
20:04It's a conspiracy against Mr. Wonderful.
20:07I wouldn't be the way that I am today, probably,
20:10if it wasn't for the WWF and a bunch of rules.
20:14Because deep down in the WWF's heart
20:17and everybody else's heart out there,
20:19they know that I should be the world's heavyweight champion.
20:22No doubt.
20:24I am the number one man.
20:26I am the underground champion.
20:28Junkyard Dog, all you are is a slime ball,
20:33a greaser.
20:34All you are is a piece of meat in front of me.
20:38Junkyard Dog, as sure as I'm standing here,
20:42old buddy, old pal, you're going to go down.
20:49At a moment, ladies and gentlemen,
20:51we're going to take you on a little journey
20:53involving one Jake the Snake Roberts
20:55along with lots of his friends.
20:58We'll really show you what we mean here
21:00as we take you on the journey.
21:03Jake the Snake, where are you?
21:05That's a little sick as far as the display is concerned
21:08with a skull right in the cage.
21:10Well, I'm sure that his ancestors have put
21:12several people into this position.
21:14A diamondback rattlesnake is very quick.
21:17Very quick.
21:18Would he keep these things around the house?
21:20Is that your thing?
21:21It's a general idea.
21:23You almost got it.
21:24Let's move along.
21:25What about this one right here?
21:27Come on, boy.
21:32Hot.
21:33Very hot.
21:35That's a slight warning system.
21:37Some people don't understand that.
21:38That's a warning system for you
21:40if you hear this noise to back up.
21:42And you know what's funny?
21:44Most people do.
21:46Yeah, I guess so.
21:47Jake the Snake Roberts in his natural habitat.
21:50Let's go up the ringside.
21:52The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall.
21:55Introducing first to my right,
21:57from Brooklyn, New York,
21:58weighing 248 pounds,
22:01Steve Lombardi.
22:05His partner, from parts unknown,
22:07at 269 pounds,
22:10Moondog Spot.
22:14Their opponents are the Can-Am Connection.
22:21From Minneapolis, Minnesota,
22:23weighing 240 pounds,
22:26Tom Zink.
22:30And his partner from Quebec City, Canada,
22:33at 234 pounds,
22:35Rick Martel.
22:40Tremendous ovation for the very first appearance of the Can-Am
22:44Canadian-American combination.
22:46And what a great tag team combination they make.
22:49You know, McMahon, with my new looks,
22:51I could fit right in with them as the third man.
22:54I don't think so, Jesse.
22:55You don't have that all-American,
22:57or all-Canadian, as the case may be,
22:59clean-cut look.
23:00You just don't seem to fit the bill there,
23:02body-wise or visually.
23:04You don't think so, huh?
23:05Lombardi for the ride.
23:08Rick Martel in control.
23:11Look at that maneuver, will ya?
23:13Oh, my!
23:14And then he ruins the thing by punching illegally to the head.
23:18I'm not too sure.
23:19He had his hand open, didn't he?
23:21Oh, McMahon, come on.
23:22Even you can see that.
23:23Even Bruno with his bifocals could see that.
23:26I'm not so sure now.
23:28Look at this maneuver.
23:29Moondog Spot in a bit of trouble.
23:32From behind, drop kick.
23:33Oh, my!
23:34That was beautifully done.
23:37The Can-Am connection.
23:38Tom Zink in the ring for the first time.
23:40Moondog Spot heading over.
23:42Oh, nice knee lift.
23:45Zink and Martel, the Can-Am connection.
23:50I take it that means one of them's Canadian
23:52and one's from the United States, right?
23:55Smart, just.
23:56Oh, wait a minute.
23:57But America, there's North America, South America,
24:00Central America.
24:02Well, I think Mr. Zink was introduced
24:04from your favorite city of Minneapolis.
24:09Into the buckle there, Tom Zink.
24:12Wound up a bit by Lombardi.
24:15Oh, blocking the fall there.
24:17Rick Martel, nicely done.
24:19Yeah, illegally in the ring.
24:21He's out.
24:22No, he's out now.
24:23It's OK.
24:25Oh, my!
24:27Now, how come they've been in there for 30, 40 seconds
24:30and referee Dave Hebner's done nothing
24:32to get him out of the ring?
24:33They just told him to get out of the ring.
24:35Yeah, after a minute and a half.
24:38We'll have to speak to Dave Hebner about that.
24:40I'm sure Jack Tunney will speak to him about it.
24:45Tag made now.
24:47Martel, the legal man in the ring.
24:50Oh, double drop kick.
24:56Rick Martel tagging Tom Zink again.
24:59Setting up Lombardi.
25:01Off the ropes and a power slam.
25:04I could spell defeat right there.
25:06No, tag made again.
25:07Boy, what quick tags Martel and Zink make.
25:09Look at that.
25:10Oh, my.
25:11Forget about it.
25:12The party is over.
25:20Even you had to be impressed, Jesse.
25:22Oh, yeah, a little bit, a little bit.
25:24A lot of good double teaming they did.
25:28And got away with it.
25:29All right, so at least with that you had to be impressed.
25:32Here are your winners, The Can-Am Collection.
25:42All right, Martel and Zink, their first appearance
25:45and what an appearance it was.
25:46What a phenomenal hip toss we just
25:48saw with Steve Lombardi, the victim.
25:50Now, look at this.
25:51Flies him, hooks him, scissors his head
25:53and brings him down almost to a pin.
25:55And there's your illegal fist hammering in right there.
25:58Look at this.
25:59Look at this slingshot.
26:00Slingshots him right on top of Steve Lombardi.
26:03And what a fantastic finale to this match.
26:06And a drop kick right now as you see Moondog Spock
26:08flying out of the ring.
26:10Yes, sir.
26:11Martel and Zink, The Can-Am Connection.
26:13We're going to be seeing a great deal more, I believe,
26:15of these youngsters.
26:16Let's take you now to Piper's Pit.
26:19You know, I got to tell you something.
26:23The reason these people are here, I do not
26:26pick who the guests are going to be on my pit.
26:30And there's a lot of people I do not see eye to eye with.
26:35This particular pit, I'm kind of interested in
26:40because I think they made a good pit because I
26:43want to look at this person in the eye.
26:46And I have a few questions.
26:48Ladies and gentlemen, the heavyweight champion
26:52of the world, Hulk Hogan.
26:56Hulk Hogan.
27:14Whoa.
27:15You know, Marty Piper, whether you pick me to come out here
27:19or whether these men here made the decision,
27:22I really don't care, man, because I was going
27:24to come out here anyway.
27:25It may come as a surprise to you.
27:27But I, first off, want to compliment you
27:31on getting rid of that no-good flower shop.
27:34But more than that, I want to commend you
27:37on getting rid of that stinking Avian Adonis.
27:40Hey, and one more thing, man.
27:42We bite, scratch, tear for what we want.
27:46And we're so much alike.
27:47But you know something?
27:48We're both complete opposites, man.
27:52First of all, you, better than anybody,
27:57would know how much I tear, bite, and scratch.
28:01That's the first thing.
28:03Well, let me put it this way, Piper.
28:05There are a couple roads, man.
28:07There's the high road, and there's the low road, brother.
28:10And right now, I don't know which highway
28:12you're going to be traveling down.
28:14But you can be assured of one thing.
28:16They both end in the same place, man.
28:18And both of us want to be there because at the end
28:21of these roads, that's where the best is, man.
28:24And we both want to be the best at what we do.
28:27And you know that I will be there.
28:31Oh, and I'll tell you one thing.
28:33I'd like to be there when those two roads meet.
28:35Hulk Hogan and Rowdy Roddy Piper.
28:40Traveling shoes, here we go.
28:43We're going down to Australia again.
28:46Oh, good.
28:47I want to see this.
28:48I could get a second view of this, McMahon.
28:50Outback Jack is out there driving his Jeep around.
28:54Kangaroo down, sport.
28:56Tie me kangaroo down.
28:58Tie me kangaroo down, sport.
29:01Tie me kangaroo down.
29:03You can bet Outback Jack is not going
29:05to find anything like this, one of these beautiful Federettes
29:08out there.
29:09That's the Federette that's always
29:10trying to run her fingers through my new hair, McMahon.
29:13Oh, really?
29:14This tag team contest is scheduled for one fall.
29:18Introducing first to my right, the team
29:21managed by the mouth of the south, Jimmy Hart.
29:28Here is the Hart Foundation from Calgary, Alberta, Canada,
29:32weighing 235 pounds, Bret Hitman Hart.
29:40His partner from Reno, Nevada, at 280 pounds, Jim,
29:45the Anvil, Nine Hart.
29:49Their opponent, from the Isle of Samoa,
29:52weighing 240 pounds, Sibi Appi.
29:59His partner from Dallas, Texas, weighing 234 pounds,
30:05Johnny Mann.
30:09Johnny Mann and Sibi Appi ready to lock up
30:12with one of the premier combinations
30:14in the world wrestling federation today.
30:16Many feel that the Hart Foundation
30:19are championship bound.
30:20What do you think, Jeff?
30:21Oh, they definitely are.
30:22Bret Hart, mechanically, there's not
30:24a better wrestler in the world.
30:25McMahon, this guy can do it all.
30:27What about mentally?
30:28Mentally, he's even more vicious with Jimmy Hart behind him.
30:32You know, he used to be kind of a dirty two-shoes,
30:34go-by-the-rules wrestler.
30:36But Jimmy Hart's brought out a great aggressiveness
30:38in him that I like.
30:41Well, the Anvil is not exactly all there
30:44in the Marvel department, is he?
30:46Hey, the guy played professional football.
30:49He's a college graduate.
30:50Did you graduate from college, McMahon?
30:53Matter of fact, I did.
30:54But what the heck does that mean?
30:55That means he's got smarts.
30:57No, it doesn't.
30:58Well, that's right.
30:59You graduated.
31:01Off the ropes, Sibi Appi, down to the canvas.
31:04Bret Hart in control and tags in the Anvil, Jim Nine Hart.
31:11Our fans in the Worcester area,
31:13mark this date down on your calendar,

31:37I don't hear y'all rooting for me!
31:39I don't hear you rooting for me!
31:41Jimmy Hart would drive anyone nuts.
31:44They call him the Mouth of the South.
31:47Should be the Mouth of the South, North, East, and West.
31:53He looks a little like Jiminy Cricket in that outfit he's wearing.
31:58Sibi Appi with a nice right hand.
32:00Backed up the Anvil.
32:02Tag has made Bret Hart coming in.
32:03Sibi Appi trying to make a move.
32:06Sibi Appi behind.
32:07Sibi Appi attacked by Bret Hart,
32:09who was in fact the legal man.
32:10That's right. That's smart tag team.
32:12You know, Neidhart saw he was getting in trouble,
32:14made a legal tag,
32:15and Sibi Appi was too concerned with Neidhart
32:18to worry about Bret Hart coming in the ring.
32:21What?
32:22What?
32:23They tagged?
32:24Another legal tag?
32:25Just prior to the tag,
32:26running Sibi Appi into the foot of Neidhart.
32:28You didn't see that?
32:31He's got the count of five, McMahon.
32:34The Anvil, Jim Neidhart,
32:36in complete control at the moment.
32:38Surely at that college you went to,
32:40they taught you to count to five.
32:43On one hand, I can count to five.
32:47Discapacity crowd,
32:49enjoying the World Wrestling Federation excitement this week.
32:52Sibi Appi.
32:53Leapfrog tag has made to his partner coming in now.
32:57Underneath the Anvil.
32:58High knee. Nice maneuver.
33:01Bret Hart.
33:02Slam to the canvas.
33:05Johnny Man beating Harrison Man.
33:07Who is this guy Johnny Man and where did he come from?
33:11Man reversed by Neidhart.
33:12Over the rope.
33:13Oh, wait a minute.
33:14You saw that?
33:17What happened there?
33:19Bret Hart clipped the ankle of Johnny Man
33:21as he was coming off the rope.
33:24And now we see the...
33:25Oh, no. Not this.
33:26Off the rope.

33:37The Hart Foundation.
33:38The Anvil, Jim Neidhart.
33:40The Hitman, Bret Hart.
33:42Along with a mouth and a south, Jimmy Hart.
33:45Here are your winners,
33:46Bret, Hitman Hart,
33:48and Jim, the Anvil, Neidhart.
33:52All right, right now, ladies and gentlemen,
33:54standing by the Hockey Talk Man.
33:56I think he wants to plead for a few votes.

34:02Now, I've done everything I can do.
34:04I've gone out there and I've kissed some babies.
34:06Some of them had slobber on their mouth.
34:08I shook some hands.
34:09Some of them hands was dirty.
34:11I've done everything I can possibly do.
34:13Now, I need that vote.
34:14You're voting for the Hockey Talk Man.
34:16You're voting for the best.
34:17You're voting for the man with all the style.
34:19You're voting for the man who's got his hair greased back,
34:21nice and slick.
34:23But please, whatever you do, vote for me.
34:25I'm saying this.
34:26I'll kiss some more babies.
34:27I'll shake some more hands.
34:28But you're going to have to clean the babies up a little bit
34:30and please wash your hands off.
34:32Use a little bit of soap because the Hockey Talk Man
34:34don't want to get dirty.
34:35You know what I'm saying?
34:36I'm clean and I like to stay that way, okay?

35:03Bundy-Machine matchup.
35:04Before we take you to the matchup,
35:06we have some words with Captain Louis Albano
35:08who announced his retirement last week.
35:10He said this would be his last match as an active manager.
35:13Let's take you to Lou Albano.
35:16Captain Lou Albano, I've been assured by the machines
35:18of a victory against Bundy and Stud.
35:20I'd like to, again, make that announcement
35:22that this will be my final match as a manager.
35:24I am dedicating myself to outside activities,
35:26namely multiple sclerosis, that dreaded disease,
35:29contracted by more than 2 million people throughout the world.
35:32And I, Captain Lou Albano, am the national fundraising chairman
35:35for the Ugly Bartender Contest.
35:37I've been assured by the World Wrestling Federation
35:40that all the wrestlers, Hulk Hogan,
35:42Tito Santana, Junkyard Dog, and so forth,
35:44would be behind the captain
35:46in raising support for multiple sclerosis,
35:49this ugly disease, contracted again
35:51by more than 2 million people.
35:53Thank you for your support, and God bless you.
35:55Captain Lou.

37:07Lou Albano leading his Machines
37:09into the awesome matchup
37:14against Stud and Bundy.
37:18Well, I'll tell you, McMahon, in my opinion,
37:20regardless of the outcome of this bout,
37:22we're all gonna be winners.
37:24Why's that?
37:25Because it's the last time I'm gonna have to look
37:28at ugly Captain Lou's face
37:30if he's a reputable man
37:32and does what he says he's doing.
37:35Well, I must say that he's not always the most handsome man,
37:39Lou Albano, that is,
37:40but, boy, we're gonna miss him here in the WWF.
37:43Speak for yourself.
37:46And, again, we certainly wish him
37:48all the luck in the world.
37:52He'll definitely need it.
37:57Now, take a look at the size of Stud
37:59and this Machine in the ring.
38:01Ooh, my, a lot of beef in there.
38:03Stud whips the Machine,
38:04misses with a roundhouse shoulder block,
38:07and nobody goes down.
38:08Stud goes up, no!
38:11Big John Stud almost body slammed,
38:13missing with the elbow stomp.

38:22in horseshoes and hand grenades.
38:25Now it's time to tag.
38:27What was that weight?
38:28456?

42:44Even I, with all the powers,
42:49have had a very, very difficult time with Kamala
42:56as he salivates.
42:59As the saliva rolls down that big black chin
